Chapter 14

Taani's pov

It was evening 4pm and we were still in the water playing and having fun. I was splashing water on my friends. I felt someone's presence behind me but I didn't stopped playing with my friends. From the corner of my eyes I saw person's reflection in the water with a smirk on playing on his lips. I don't know what that smirk means but I was pretty sure he was up to something. He might have thought I was too busy to notice him but he was quite wrong. Before he could grab me and do something I splashed water behind me that is on his face and moved a bit away from him laughingly. His face showed he wasn't expecting me to know he was behind me. I showed him my tongue and splashed more water on him.

He too started splashing water on me. Suddenly I got pushed from behind and I directly landed in Rey's arms. I saw droplets falling from his hair to his lips. Seeing his lips I felt an urge to kiss those lips. I licked my lips and we stared into each other's eyes forgetting everyone, everything seemed to fade away. We got closer and closer our nose touching each other and forehead resting together, our lips inches apart we were almost going to kiss when...

Splash...

Someone jumped in the water and we immediately got separated. I walked a little away from him and turned my back towards him. I closed my eyes and thought about the almost kiss and that too in front of everyone which itself made me blush. I looked around if someone noticed us but everyone was busy enjoying to notice us. I went to my friends and splashed water on them along with the boys.

Rey's pov

Damn!! I was almost going to kiss her here in front of everyone. Wow!! What a stupidity. I looked at her; she looked hot and cute in her swimsuit. I wonder how someone can be cute and hot at the same time. She was playing and happily splashing water with the boys on her friends. I swam outside the water and saw the time, it was 6pm now. We were enjoying quite long in water, and said,

Me: guys!! Come on get outside. We need to go home.

One by one everyone came out. I looked at everyone and Taani was missing. I went back to the waterfall and found her still in the water.

Me: Taani come out.

T: no Rey. Please let me in for some more time.

Me: no you will catch cold. Come outside otherwise I will come in and take you out.

T: Pleaseee...

She said with a pout. I'm not stupid to say yes and I know she won't come until I agree, so I just went inside and took her on my shoulders while she kept trying to move out of my grasp and hit me on my back with her tiny fist, which I guess was a waste of energy. I was laughing at her attempt of hitting me.

I reached where others were standing only to see Vicky and Nilesh fighting for towel and pulling the bag. I made Taani stand on her feet and smiled at her. She gave me a forced smile and pushed me little back and stood there crossing her arms in front of her looking away from me.

I took hold of bag from them and pulled towards myself but they again pulled it from me.

Me: guys give it to me.

I pulled back but they again did the same. This went on until I got angry and they left the bag and to my bad luck i didn't realized they left the bag and I fell in the water with the bag. Everyone started laughing at me, I glared at everyone and they stopped laughing. I came out of the water with the bag and saw only Taani's clothes in it which is now wet due to water.

T: my clothes. Now what will I wear. You guys have to do something I can't go home in this.

She wrapped her arms around herself and I could feel her shivering as the night came.

I ran towards the car and took out my hoodie which I always keep with me and came back and give it to her.

Me: wear this for now.

Sharon gave her shorts which was extra. Sometime later Taani came out wearing my oversized hoodie with the shorts looking cute. We moved to our houses.

Next day

In classroom

Taani's pov

I was concentrating in the lecture when a paper was dropped on my desk from back which I guess was from Rey. He was sitting right behind me. I saw teacher was busy in explaining about the science exhibition. I quietly read the note.

"Hey!! You are gonna sneak out of the class with me within 5 min.

Be prepared."

I was like is he crazy?

I immediately wrote down and gave him.

"Not in my dreams I will do that."

I got another paper. I opened and read it out.

"I am not asking you baby, I am letting you know be ready to run."

Baby? He just called me baby. I looked at him and shook my head no and blinked my eyes thinking this will work.

But he just took hold of my hands and made me beside him quietly.

R: now just don't say anything and move with me. And don't worry we will be out.

He whispered to me.

Me: but why we have to sneak out? Where are you taking me? I'm not coming with you.

I whispered him back keeping my voice low.

R: I'm not going to rape you so just come with me; I assure you will have great fun. Come on.

He made a cute puppy face which I can't resist.

Me: Fine.

He looked at teacher and then made me sit down with him to hide ourselves from the teacher and made our way till the first bench.

R: you should just run fast okay?

I just nodded my head.

Rey took hold of my right hand.

The teacher turned to the board to write something and that's when I felt myself pulled by Rey and we ran out of the class.

My heart was beating million times faster. I kept my hand on my heart with my eyes closed. When I opened my eyes and they went wide after seeing our principle standing at the other corner of the corridor looking at us. I gulped and whispered to Rey.

Me: Rey principle!

He opened his eyes quickly and took hold of my hands and shouted.

R: Run.

Pri: hey you! Both of you stop.

I ran with him catching up the speed with him.

T: but Rey he saw us. He will expel us from the school.

R: you just run Taani.

We ran through the corridors and down the stairs till we reached the gates. While principle kept shouting to stop.

We went near his bike and he told me sit and holds him tightly. I did the same.

Pri: hey stop both of you. Securities stop them!!1

Me: Rey I think we should stop.

I said afraid of the punishment.

R: just hold me tightly and close your eyes.

I gulped again seeing the security coming towards us and did what I was told to do. I hugged him tightly knowing I can trust him. if he said not to worry then I don't have to.

I felt him accelerating the bike with a high speed and run his bike. I hugged him even tighter feeling scarred.

I don't know where he was taking me but wherever he was taking me I know I can trust him.
