WHY ?

WHY would a mother neglect her own daughter ! Till to-day , I am unable to digest the fact that a biological m other [ Kamala ] would show preference in all matters ,[ including a question of life or death] to her Mistresses daughter ! Is it true ,unconditional love of a mother or is to make an impression on her Boss and the World ? Clear my doubts please.

Kamla remained a confusing n unexplained character... She was portrayed to be sincerely selfless, compassionate, humanitarian n what not... But when it comes to actions, it always looks like that whatever she did was to show herself as a person with these characteristics... Coz all these traits appeared only when they needed to be shown to the world, but not when her family was in concern...
