The greater the love, the more powerful one's reactions to external stimuli threatening that great love - Me😆😆😆
Ishita literally SOUGHT Shagun out to taunt her...I am not sure how I feel about it.
Yes, we all hate Shagun from the bottom of our hearts...and at one level, whatever Ishita said to Shagun kind of vindicated OUR own feelings towards that witch-turned-saint. But it would have looked better had Ishita and Shagun crossed paths, like they did that day. To go and actively SEEK HER OUT and sunao her, wasnt my idea of a comeback actually...😕
Anyway, that said...I am AMAZED at how MUCH Ishita has changed in just two days.👏 Every word she spoke to Shagun was dripping in sarcasm, a general disdain and of course, a cool level of sneer. Somehow, she has emerged as a woman who will not take people's shit anymore. And that's good in a way...today, she was behaving much like a normal wife who was determined to keep HER life, HER husband and HER kids OFF the ex-wife's reach...
But I was kinda squirming inside when she said, "Main aur Raman ek ho chuke hain..." "Main unki premika bhi hun" and "Raman ne apna pyaar mujhe acchi tarah dikha diya hai" (the last one was bordering on suggestive)...
Maybe because I have never, NOT ONCE in 1.5 years heard/seen Ishita talk this way. Maybe because we have got so used to seeing her being compliant and soft and submissive and emotional, that we have never entertained the idea of her being a caustic opponent, as she as today...
But I am glad that even when she was saying those things to Shagun, she realised somewhere deep down that it sounded cheap (coz yes, it sounded VV weird, coming from her)...and was herself amazed that SHE was saying all such things...but she eloquently wrapped it up with, "Jaise log waise baatein karni padti hai" or something like that...for all the times Shagun tried to put Ishita down and tried to transgress her private life with Raman, her boundaries...THIS last line was justified. Yes. Just because Shagun has transformed into a saint now cannot exempt her from being taunted for all the disgusting things she has done in the past...
Oh well...I am still undecided how exactly to pin down my feelings regarding that conversation...I'll leave it at that.🥱
Loved Amma's comeback...and the way Amma cried when Vandu told her that there are chances Ishu might have a baby soon...it reminded me of how my grandmom (bless her!) had cried profusely upon knowing I had my first period. In my family, they called it "beti badi ho gayi" and it was a near celebratory event...My God! It was symbolic of the fact that a girl who had started menstruating was eligible to be married off and have babies of her own...I know, I know...weird notion..but that's why all the elderly ladies in the family congregate and cry first..and then celebrate it
Amma ke rone se mujhe woh yaad aaya😆😆😆
Am I okay with Amma, Vandu and Mihika goading Ishu to "share it" with Toshi? Well...I wasnt much amused to be honest..coz I feel it was a very private thing between Raman and Ishita and this isnt the way to declare it to the world...Vandu and Mihika, I understand...they are like friends...sisters, they are...Amma is well- Amma...but Toshi ko INVITATION DEKE usko batana was a lil too much...I would've been very, very shy if I were in that position...I mean, two married people had sex after 1.5 years...what is there to declare to the world?? Coz I know these Bhallas are so loud and tactless, they will make a 'jashn' of it at the dining table itself...aise hain yeh log
Ishita thinks "rola pae gaya" means "sex ho gaya" is it??🤣
I mean, she DID expect Toshi to understand it..huh?😆😆😆
And Amma is such an expert at sign language that she made some movements with her hands and lo! Toshi understood ki "uski bahu badi ho gayi"😆😆😆 ufff...all the Moms in this world, I tell you!
About Raman hatching a plan to expose Ashok...well, admittedly, it was done smartly...Just like Ishita has become more confident and more in tune with herself...Raman has got back his ltent swagger, albeit, he has calmed down a little...and decided to channelize his anger and rage into two-pronged strategies and landing his enemy in jail, rather than beating him up on the spot, like he usually does.😆
I LOVE how Puttar's worked his smarts! No thrashing, abusing, namecalling, NOTHING.😆
What Raman did to expose Ashok - not only delivered his rightful punishment (sent him to jail) but also lost the Khanna brothers the manufacturing contract...ultimately the Ministry awarded the contract to him. Masterstroke👏👏👏 I like this Raman very, very much😆😆😆
Puttar had his act on so convincingly...even I was waylaid for a few seconds...when the woman barged in and started accusing Ashok of rape...Raman looked surprised just like the others...
Wonderful act! This is prolly for the first time that Raman has acted with his mind, and not JUST his heart...emotions😆
It seems Ishita ke andar Raman ki aadhi aatma ghus gayi hai aur Raman ke andar Ishu ki😃..no wonder, Ishu looks like is gonna give it back to whoever tries to demean her relationship with Raman...and Raman looks like he would rather hand anti-social elements like Ashok, to the police rather than dirty his hands with them..Hail IPC! Finally kaam aaya iss show mein😆
On a sidenote, can the casting department spend a lil more time and money on getting supplements who can ACT TO SAVE THEIR LIFE?😕 The woman who was crying hoarse about being raped looked like she had lost her steam after running too hard to get to the venue...and the journalists there looked like they would bring shame to Journalism with the questions they were asking and the MANNER in which those questions were asked...kahin se bhi uthake role de dete hain aise logon ko...kuch bhi
It was interesting to see Ishu's reaction when Raman genially said - that if there arises a need, he and Khanna would surely collaborate...she looked WRONGED and pissed again😛 I like this change in biwi
Also, she was worried Raman would be shattered if he knew what had really happened on that night...but then, she should not have thought so...considering she is not Shagun and she loves only HIM...and her dignity and character are not denigrated just because an arsehole like Ashok tried to molest her...
I hope they have a talk regarding this as well. Coz its time women stop feeling bad for the hundred and thousand lechers out there😡😡
P.S. WHAT surrogacy scandal is Shagun out to expose?
And oh yes, it was creepy watching Shagun look like a satisfied, happy mother hen...when she got to know of IshRa's consummation...Goodness, YHM humein aur kya kya din dikhaega?😕😕😕 She was smiling as if her deepest wishes had been fulfilled...cannot handle so much goodness coming from her end...really...
P.S.Though I am sure many of us might have had difficulty digesting Ishita's new avtar, it was needed. Long due, actually. Shagun has said and done so many things in the past...and Ishita has never reacted this way. Ever. But Ishita;s reaction and her keenness to give it back to this woman who (acc to Ishita) still thought had hold over her husband and kids - is symbolic of the fact that she was deeply hurt and humiliated by those words...and it was only because she was and is deeply in love with her husband...and no more wanted to just be a caretaker of his home and family, or his friend...she wanted to be MORE than that...his EVERYTHING, actually...often times, great love brings with it torrential reactions. Ishita's was one of them and though Im still feeling kinda odd about it...well, I'd have hated it more if she'd have quietly swallowed the insult without a perfect comeback. Just that, it could have been done in the context of a chance meeting.
P.S. The sheepish look Raman threw at his wife when he was awarded the contract...priceless!😃 It was as if the newfound intimacy between them was a talisman of sorts...a lucky charm for his business, THEIR Baby..et al😊😊
