The greater the love, the more powerful one's reactions to external stimuli threatening that great love - Me😆😆😆

Ishita literally SOUGHT Shagun out to taunt her...

I am not sure how I feel about it.

Yes, we all hate Shagun from the bottom of our hearts...and at one level, whatever Ishita said to Shagun kind of vindicated OUR own feelings towards that witch-turned-saint. But it would have looked better had Ishita and Shagun crossed paths, like they did that day. To go and actively SEEK HER OUT and sunao her, wasnt my idea of a comeback actually...😕

Anyway, that said...I am AMAZED at how MUCH Ishita has changed in just two days.👏 Every word she spoke to Shagun was dripping in sarcasm, a general disdain and of course, a cool level of sneer. Somehow, she has emerged as a woman who will not take people's shit anymore. And that's good in a way...today, she was behaving much like a normal wife who was determined to keep HER life, HER husband and HER kids OFF the ex-wife's reach...

But I was kinda squirming inside when she said, "Main aur Raman ek ho chuke hain..." "Main unki premika bhi hun" and "Raman ne apna pyaar mujhe acchi tarah dikha diya hai" (the last one was bordering on suggestive)...

Maybe because I have never, NOT ONCE in 1.5 years heard/seen Ishita talk this way. Maybe because we have got so used to seeing her being compliant and soft and submissive and emotional, that we have never entertained the idea of her being a caustic opponent, as she as today...

But I am glad that even when she was saying those things to Shagun, she realised somewhere deep down that it sounded cheap (coz yes, it sounded VV weird, coming from her)...and was herself amazed that SHE was saying all such things...but she eloquently wrapped it up with, "Jaise log waise baatein karni padti hai" or something like that...for all the times Shagun tried to put Ishita down and tried to transgress her private life with Raman, her boundaries...THIS last line was justified. Yes. Just because Shagun has transformed into a saint now cannot exempt her from being taunted for all the disgusting things she has done in the past...

Oh well...I am still undecided how exactly to pin down my feelings regarding that conversation...I'll leave it at that.🥱

Loved Amma's comeback...and the way Amma cried when Vandu told her that there are chances Ishu might have a baby soon...it reminded me of how my grandmom (bless her!) had cried profusely upon knowing I had my first period. In my family, they called it "beti badi ho gayi" and it was a near celebratory event...My God! It was symbolic of the fact that a girl who had started menstruating was eligible to be married off and have babies of her own...I know, I know...weird notion..but that's why all the elderly ladies in the family congregate and cry first..and then celebrate it

Amma ke rone se mujhe woh yaad aaya😆😆😆

Am I okay with Amma, Vandu and Mihika goading Ishu to "share it" with Toshi? Well...I wasnt much amused to be honest..coz I feel it was a very private thing between Raman and Ishita and this isnt the way to declare it to the world...Vandu and Mihika, I understand...they are like friends...sisters, they are...Amma is well- Amma...but Toshi ko INVITATION DEKE usko batana was a lil too much...I would've been very, very shy if I were in that position...I mean, two married people had sex after 1.5 years...what is there to declare to the world?? Coz I know these Bhallas are so loud and tactless, they will make a 'jashn' of it at the dining table itself...aise hain yeh log

Ishita thinks "rola pae gaya" means "sex ho gaya" is it??🤣
I mean, she DID expect Toshi to understand it..huh?😆😆😆

And Amma is such an expert at sign language that she made some movements with her hands and lo! Toshi understood ki "uski bahu badi ho gayi"😆😆😆 ufff...all the Moms in this world, I tell you!

About Raman hatching a plan to expose Ashok...well, admittedly, it was done smartly...Just like Ishita has become more confident and more in tune with herself...Raman has got back his ltent swagger, albeit, he has calmed down a little...and decided to channelize his anger and rage into two-pronged strategies and landing his enemy in jail, rather than beating him up on the spot, like he usually does.😆

I LOVE how Puttar's worked his smarts! No thrashing, abusing, namecalling, NOTHING.😆

What Raman did to expose Ashok - not only delivered his rightful punishment (sent him to jail) but also lost the Khanna brothers the manufacturing contract...ultimately the Ministry awarded the contract to him. Masterstroke👏👏👏 I like this Raman very, very much😆😆😆

Puttar had his act on so convincingly...even I was waylaid for a few seconds...when the woman barged in and started accusing Ashok of rape...Raman looked surprised just like the others...

Wonderful act! This is prolly for the first time that Raman has acted with his mind, and not JUST his heart...emotions😆

It seems Ishita ke andar Raman ki aadhi aatma ghus gayi hai aur Raman ke andar Ishu ki😃..no wonder, Ishu looks like is gonna give it back to whoever tries to demean her relationship with Raman...and Raman looks like he would rather hand anti-social elements like Ashok, to the police rather than dirty his hands with them..Hail IPC! Finally kaam aaya iss show mein😆

On a sidenote, can the casting department spend a lil more time and money on getting supplements who can ACT TO SAVE THEIR LIFE?😕 The woman who was crying hoarse about being raped looked like she had lost her steam after running too hard to get to the venue...and the journalists there looked like they would bring shame to Journalism with the questions they were asking and the MANNER in which those questions were asked...kahin se bhi uthake role de dete hain aise logon ko...kuch bhi

It was interesting to see Ishu's reaction when Raman genially said - that if there arises a need, he and Khanna would surely collaborate...she looked WRONGED and pissed again😛 I like this change in biwi

Also, she was worried Raman would be shattered if he knew what had really happened on that night...but then, she should not have thought so...considering she is not Shagun and she loves only HIM...and her dignity and character are not denigrated just because an arsehole like Ashok tried to molest her...

I hope they have a talk regarding this as well. Coz its time women stop feeling bad for the hundred and thousand lechers out there😡😡

P.S. WHAT surrogacy scandal is Shagun out to expose?

And oh yes, it was creepy watching Shagun look like a satisfied, happy mother hen...when she got to know of IshRa's consummation...Goodness, YHM humein aur kya kya din dikhaega?😕😕😕 She was smiling as if her deepest wishes had been fulfilled...cannot handle so much goodness coming from her end...really...

P.S.Though I am sure many of us might have had difficulty digesting Ishita's new avtar, it was needed. Long due, actually. Shagun has said and done so many things in the past...and Ishita has never reacted this way. Ever. But Ishita;s reaction and her keenness to give it back to this woman who (acc to Ishita) still thought had hold over her husband and kids - is symbolic of the fact that she was deeply hurt and humiliated by those words...and it was only because she was and is deeply in love with her husband...and no more wanted to just be a caretaker of his home and family, or his friend...she wanted to be MORE than that...his EVERYTHING, actually...often times, great love brings with it torrential reactions. Ishita's was one of them and though Im still feeling kinda odd about it...well, I'd have hated it more if she'd have quietly swallowed the insult without a perfect comeback. Just that, it could have been done in the context of a chance meeting.

P.S. The sheepish look Raman threw at his wife when he was awarded the contract...priceless!😃 It was as if the newfound intimacy between them was a talisman of sorts...a lucky charm for his business, THEIR Baby..et al😊😊

Res Res...coming back in a bit..too many thoughts swirling around in my head..
UnRes

Sorry Aka..meant to edit yest but couldn't..
I see the humor is back in ur review..and I loved it..

But Ishita announcing to the world that they have DUNNIT..no.no..its not going down well with me..
I actually cringed a little listening to Ishita -Shagun convo..on one hand it made Ishita look a little more human and that's fine but she did not have to go in search of Shagun and then make an announcement .."I am the love of his life...I love Raman"..I wish she had said all this to Vandu and Mihika..I would have jumped in joy..but when will she understand that she doesn't owe any explanation to Shagun? There were so many times before when Shagun had insulted her..why didn't she say anything then?? And there are so many ways u could give it back to her..u don't necessarily have to tell her what happens or doesn't happen in ur bedroom...
Amma and Toshi getting to know about it - again a big NO NO ..am reminded of Raman's words to her after after their KKHH moment..I think he said something like.."kuch batein aapas mein hi acche lagte hai"...anything and everything that happens between IshRa is so publicly discussed..and I hate it..

I have nothing to say abt Shagun..I try my best to ignore the bits with Shagun..and did u just call her a happy ,satisfied mother hen??🤣🤣

And I love Puttar Biwi's new equation..his smile..protectiveness..he pulled the chair out for her like a gentleman.. Can't wait to see more of it..I am just hoping everybody shuts up with their baby rant...
And i am hoping CVs won't push IshRa back into their normal routine and family problems anytime soon..there was something magical about the couple that we saw in the last 2 epis..and I want that magic to continue..

Lastly, love this line of urs " Raman ke andar Ishu ki aur Ishu ki andar Raman ki atma ghus gayi hai"...so so true...yeh toh hona hi tha..they have a little bit of each other in each other now..☺️

The conversation between Ex and current didnt work for me...I skipped...It wasnt required
Assoak Khanna ka press conference me hi izzat ka falooda hota hai...I was laughing all the way😆

That Smile😊 Raman gave to Ishu was so satisfying and beautiful😳

So ministry ka full contract to raman ...and I am sure the goons attacking raman are sent by param or suraj...OR it may be Ramans plan to reunite with his family😕...coz now a days he is scheming😆

I loved the episode very much because the way husband protected his wife by not involving her name and getting her molester punished was brilliant👏

Precap was good...I always crave for hubby-wifely conversations😳

MADHU is back...I love her 2 2 much😛

Hi Akansha,
Sorry for unres this late but just came back from work and watched the episode.

Nice review as usual. How come there was no pictures today?

I totally agree to your point that Ishita and Raman have exchanged athmas after Big C because Ishita is behaving like impulsive angry Raman and Raman is behaving like cool, collected and calm Ishita😆😆

I have a different view on Ishita going to meet Shagun. I kinda of like it because I was fed up with a doormat Ishita who only thinks about other emotions after the slot change this one looks like the 11:00 clock Ishita who doesn't take any shit from anybody and can give into her emotions.

Ishita was told repeatedly by numerous person she is not a desirable women as she cannot give birth. The first chink in her armor was Subbu after 12 years of relationship left her in a matter of seconds on a possibility that she might not be able to give birth. Then came the numerous suitors amma paraded before her hoping that she might finally get happiness but every time someone rejected her she unconsciously lost her confidence in herself as a women so every time people commented on her relationship with her husband she was quite because she did not have confidence in herself to tell everyone that her husband desired her physically even though she knew that he loved her unconditionally because every time he expressed his wishes to get physical it was always about baby and kids so she was not sure herself whether her husband desired her just for herself.

Then came the much awaited Big C where in she poured out all her insecurities and they culminated for each other love rather than for anybody else. Raman unknowingly gave her the confidence boost for he to feel that she is a desirable woman. His every touch and looks made her feel that she could make her lover go weak on his knees that gave her confidence in herself as a women so the first thing she wanted to do as a empowered woman who got back her confidence in herself went searching for the one person who time and again made a mockery of her relationship with her husband in front of others and put her down as a woman calling her bhenjii and baanj and taunted her that her husband doesn't love her as he is still in love with her so she wanted to show that person that her husband only belongs to her so for the first time I saw a possessive Ishita who staked a claim on her husband asking his ex to stay away from them which I liked very much because that is how wife should be possessive about their husband.

It is kind of human nature to give back to people when they push you to the extreme so I did not find any fault in her going in search of Shagun.

When yesterday they finished the episode like Ishita wanting to let Shagun know that they have sealed the deal I was thinking why cannot Ishita keep something private between the couple but when I thought what would I have done in the same situation I would have done the same thing what Ishita did so I don't fault her and this also makes her more human prone to make mistake and give into anger and not some mahan bahu or sati devi who takes all the crap because that is what the TRP audience likes and a soap bahu should be.

I liked Shagun acting as well like she was indifferent to Ishita that was like the grey Shagun I liked in the beginning of YHM but after Ishita left and Shagun monologue started that she is the reason that IshRa are together I went blah😡 why does she give more important to herself then I realized she is behaving like the grey Shagun I liked who gloats over anything that she is the reason behind it and I was happy because I cannot take the new improvised Ruhi Arora who keeps helping people. I want my grey Shagun back.

Amma reactions was spot on after finding about Ishita martial status change because that is what mothers do after you get married they directly or indirectly ask whether you have done the deed and then convey the same thing to the groom mothers so that the grooms family knows now that her daughter has become a woman this is a common practice so I did not mind but the only problem I had was Ishita trying to convey that to Toshjii instead of Amma because it is down right embarrassing to tell your MIL that you had sex with her son and that was beautifully portrayed by Ishita and finally amma gave up and behaved like a mother and conveyed the message so now hopefully Toshjii got the message and once IshRa move back to their house she should keep out all the haddis from their room.

I hope other than these people don't openly discuss about IshRa life if the younger siblings start discussing about it I am going to be mad.

Oh my God my Raman who is smart, sexy, sauve with cool glasses and slight stubble with a contend smile was a dream to look on . The way he smiled at her and took care of her with little details of pulling her chair making sure she sat before he left her alone and small smiles he gave to her was a treat tow watch☺️

Oh finally not only a clean shave handsome RKB was back but this time RKB brought his brain back as well I really hope he stays from now on not disappear in the near future.

I liked the way he exposed Ashok but the one thing I still don't understand is does Ishita know that Ashok drugged her and was going to molest her or she is angry with Ashok because he talked dirty about her to Raman before he spiked her drink.😕

Pre cap looks interesting I am waiting for the touchy moment between IshRa tomorrow and eagerly waiting for the continuation of the talk about the rating of 2😉 and how puttar goes up from 2😆

I cannot get enough of puttar smiles at the end of today episode he looked suave, handsome and contented

RES
(Too long, will read in a while 😆)
EDITED
-----------

Great review, Aka! 👏 👏 What a quote to begin with! 👏 😆 Suits perfectly though 😉

Posting my thoughts from Gan's thread (because I'm too tired to type all over again 😆)

I have mixed feelings about today. Some things I liked, some I didn't, but I guess that's the state everyone is currently in (especially because we're still reeling in the after-effects of last week's episodes 😆)

Ishita-Shagun confrontation: Any confrontation / conversation has 3 questions attached to it. Why-What-How. Why did the conversation happen? What was the content? How was it delivered? In today's episode, Ishita (& the CVs) nailed the answers to the Why & What, but How left a bad taste in my mouth. Why - I completely understand why Ishita wanted to blast Shagun off. She has mocked & taunted by her innumerable times. Her relationship with Raman has been questioned time and again. Not only this, in the past, Shagun has not given up any opportunity of throwing Shagun-Raman's relationship dynamics in her face. She HAD to give it back to her. The wife, the woman in her would not stay calm. What - What she said was brilliant! Hats off to the CVs for such dialogues. Apart from some cheesiness, the sentiment and words hit the nail in the head. While reading today's LU, I was wondering how can Ishita share her personal matters with Shagun, how cheap will it sound, and she used the EXACT same words and how! I'm so proud of her for that 👏 👏 How - This is where I felt completely disconnected. Her blasting Shagun off would have been totally acceptable had she bumped into her somewhere, or had Shagun tried to poke more. But her deliberately seeking Shagun out to tell her she & Raman have put the final stamp on their relationship, did not go down well with me. It goes on to show Shagun that Ishita is still affected deeply by Raman's past. I'm not saying Ishita is / was not affected, but there's no need for Shagun to realize the power she has on their emotions. Doesn't matter if she has turned miss goody two shoes, she does not deserve the importance / attention in IshRa's life any more. I'd rather she kept hating Ishita / Raman, and found someone else and move on. Her words to Ishita, before she left and became a saint, were - "I'll always hate you from the bottom of my heart." THAT felt real that she could never think well of Ishita, even after accepting defeat. I will also accept her turning good-natured, but what I absolutely cannot digest is the fact that she's now rooting for IshRa. Heights of idiocy!

Mommy blessings: Contrary to popular belief, I found this telling both the mothers bit quite natural. From my experience, mothers, especially a bride's mother, tends to get emotional on learning that her daughter has finally become someone's wife in the absolute sense. In real life, you'll find a lot of such women who'd ask their daughters directly / indirectly and feel happy when they learn about it. For me, Madhvi's reaction was as natural as it can get, for here she was getting to know about her younger daughter's happiness, who once was foretold would never experience this feeling. Sharing it with Toshi also seemed a bit natural to me for 3 reasons: 1. She's again, a mother, although the groom's mother, but even she would feel happy on learning that her son has finally moved on in all senses. 2. She's also a mother figure for Ishita. 3. She's Madhvi's best friend. In fact, I liked Toshi suggesting that Ishita should not share this news with more people, lest an evil eye is cast upon them. I also liked that Ishita reminded all of them to not get their hopes up, as there are only 5% chances of her conceiving a child. This tid-bits of realism are what make YHM stand-out, and what make me stay glued to it, despite no IshRa romance in the episode 😆 Having said all this, yes, I agree, this is a private matter, and therefore should not be shared with everyone in the family.

Raman-Ashok-Ishita: Raman is in love, and RKB is back. These 2 phrases define the entire last part. For RKB - Loved his smartness, how brilliantly he played Ashok and made him fall into his trap 👏 👏 For Raman - His chivalry & concern for her, his eye-locks and smiles for her - Every li'l gesture was screaming 'I love you' and I felt like going and hugging him for being so loveable & adorable, without flirting & touching & smirking (Though I love flirty, smirky, touchy Raman too 😆). Today he was a man on a mission, but a content man, one who had everything he ever wanted and the satisfaction showed on his face. Ishita looked gorgeous - perfect color combination + beautiful earrings - Everything suited her really well 😳 👏

Coming to a very important you have raised Aka, "It seems Ishita ke andar Raman ki aadhi aatma ghus gayi hai aur Raman ke andar Ishu ki😃..no wonder, Ishu looks like is gonna give it back to whoever tries to demean her relationship with Raman...and Raman looks like he would rather hand anti-social elements like Ashok, to the police rather than dirty his hands with them...😆"

How true! Ishita seems more confident of her self, and ready to thrash anyone & everyone who comes in her way, while as Raman is calmer and smarter, using his brains and not knocking the place upside down 👏 👏 👏

I believe this stems from the fact that both of them are now in a place in life where nothing, absolutely nothing is their pain point. Their past is truly behind, their insecurities have been over-shadowed by their love, and their strength is with each other, and that's what makes them both content, and thus reflects in their respective behaviours 😳 😳

Lovely review Aka. Good you mentioned some surrogacy gadbad coz I cud not get what shagun was investigating. What worries me is that the CVs in order to give Shagun a strong comeback may make Ishita swallow her words and go to Shagun for help! If she keeps helping them then she may start interfering with their lives again. anyways, let her love life start.
Where is ACP Abhishek? When is Romi getting married?

Is Mr iyer still working at Malhotra's co.?

Are Mihika and Ashok divorced?

Will Ashok get out of jail in 2 days, cinsidering that his last attempt at rape with Mihika also cost him just 2 days behind bars!

Hope Raman wont lose his memory and ishita will need to go search shagun coz raman still thinks she is his wife and we have Shagun preg track?🤢

Ishita going to Shagun has elicited mixed feelings from everyone.
While it does give Shagun undue importance, I, like you, like the change in Ishita. She was to some degree acting petty and vengeful, but not in a malicious way. She was reacting to 1.5 years of taunts and insults and the regularly public mockery of her marriage at the hands of Shagun, Param, and such (especially Shagun). It wasn't what a perfect docile bahu/beti/biwi would do. It was what a woman deeply scorned who finally got some confidence from her husband may consider.

Like you pointed out, she, too, felt conflicted about her reaction to Shagun, but it's marked a change for a more assertive Ishita, which I can't complain about.

As for Shagun feeling like cupid for these 2...then ew, but she wasn't alone...technically we should all be thanking Ashok too for pissing Raman off so well.

Great write up as always!

PS - I love Puttar, especially when he's smart like today!
