the acting in this show

I hope I dnt get bashed but I have to say that the acting by the youngsters in the show except for the actress who plays rachita(bt she isn't allowed to show much emotions) is just not up to mark. I find the leads at certain quite pathetic the actress who plays amaya makes weird faces she is over the top certain times in her in love scenes she needs to have more control in her acting she is a bit uncomfortable to watch coz her expressions are so ott. And the actor who plays mantu is also quite week. And the guy that likes rachita is also quite week. Really they all suck but I think that the writing and characterization of their character is very awesome and the sort of scenes they get is very nice and its directed so nicely that 1 enjoys their performance. I think most of the actors are probably new they very lucky that the sort of scenes they are getting make them likeable. And I am sure that given time they will definitely get better and I do like them all. But the actress who plays uma my word nothing can help her. Her character is awful and her acting is even worse. She often looks possessed and when she is acting its like she is screaming in all her scenes her volume is like permanently high. Its rarely soft has the actress never heard that she needs to change her voice in certain voices to show pain, happiness or sadness this girl is just 1 tone. She reminds me of a mad chucky bride half the time with her beady eyes. Some1 should tell her to get some much needed acting lessons. She is a horrid actress. The other actors will eventually grow and develop as actors but that actress will not no offence to her fans. This isn't intended as a bashing post bt I do feel that the acting by all the young leads needs to improve and Uma needs to disappear.

Well why should you be bashed for voicing your opinions? You have a right to say what you want. Anyway, I do agree that Uma and Amaya's acting need to improve. Both can be OTT sometimes.

I will also add that, they truly have improved immensely !

They have improved a lot and I think that they can be given a chance. I would say they are doing a great job.

Completely agree with post. Uma cant act. She gives the same expressions all the time, be it sad, angry or happy. I just put the TV on mute, whenever she comes on the screen. Amaya needs to improve still. Rachita is good.

Completely agree with you. Amaya's overacting in the promos was what initially put me off this show. I checked it out for Gautami as she's fabulous and true to form, she didn't disappoint.
