Darjeeling: Tension prevails in Darjeeling like never before, as everyone is awaiting the results of Indian Idol – 3. Numerous battalions of police forces, including WBSAP have been deployed through out the town. Mr. Karan Tamang, said that "I have not seen so many police men since the days of the Andolan".

However, there is a gaiety in the air and also a sense of festivity, as everyone deep in their hearts hopes and believes that Prashant is going to be the next Indian Idol.
