Firstly, sorry if I am breaking any rhythm here. But the last episode aired 2 nights ago & there is still no thread. Hence, made this one😊
I was on this forum last season...but sadly it was not much active then. I am very happy to see so many fellow Suitors this time. Though I am not much of a poster, love reading so many theories.

Now coming to the episode, that ending left me shocked. When Louis fell on that glass table - literally jaw dropping scene!

I love Harvey's therapy sessions. Although it may not seem much, but the guy is making slow progress. He took Donna to dinner😳 Also loved how he admitted Louis is a damn good attorney to his sister. That was a sweet thing he did. Totally unexpected of him!

But next week, Harvey will be in so much trouble. Jessica is not going to let him go easy this time. Louis was waayyy out of line, but Harvey shouldn't have got physical.

Anyhoo... In between all this drama, you have to feel sad for Mike. The boy is bloody talented. Best ever associate Jessica has ever seen. He deserves junior partner and all other promotions more than anything, but he will or rather should never get it. Too much at risk!

Welcome reshamc. There is no hard and fast rhythm sort of thing. Its nice you took the lead. You may post it the day you watch, it would be great. If you can share more about the episode, that would be great. I would hopefully get to watch it tom.

Thanks for opening the thread .. I actually watched the epi on Thursday only but yet to decide who pissed me off the most .. Harvey or Louis .. Louis, I can understand, he will always be like this, emotional and hyper, behaving like a four years old. Sadly, this is the first time I am damn irritated with Harvey. He should NOT hit Louis under any circumstances. He is a trained boxer. He could easily play in defence and stop him but he too behaved like a kid this time, or worse like a lame teen age boy. I have never seen such f**ked up people in my life.

Another things that happened to me for the 1st time- I hated Jessica for how she treated Mike. Well she might have her sets of issues but I really felt bad for Mike. He deserves that promotion .. this is getting really bad .. better Korsh come out with some pleasant idea.

I liked two things, 1. Harvey and Donna trying to make up .. that friendship date was nice. 2. Mike & Jack partnership - I thought I would hate it, but I enjoyed thoroughly.

The more the merrier 😉
Can't say I blame Louis for what happened coz in a way he approached Harvey as his friend more directly than he did his sister, Esther to avoid this situation from happening. This is too personal for him and he laid it outright at the beginning by seeking a promise. Harvey gave his word & then snuck behind Louis' back. Louis acting like a 4 year old does not give Harvey the right to play with Louis's feelings or hide behind "it just happened". There is also a lot going on in Harvey's subconscious and maybe that was his way of getting back to Louis about Donna working for him. If he has come to an understanding of his actions being wrong thru the sessions, Harvey is a work in progress. Louis will be threatening a lawsuit against Harvey but will Jessica let it happen inside her firm?
Wrt Jessica, I would love to know the background of Jessica-Harvey equation. Why does she protect him the way she does time and again? Liked her one liner - "Now I might look good for my age, but I wasn't born yesterday". She came around to Mike's pov in the case with Robert Zane & took steps to rectify the situation. Let's hope her sense of fairness extends to Mike's promotion. This season, Jessica has her hands full with personality issues, maintaining order within her firm & now her old enemy is lurking close by. As she said, she has worked too hard to lose it.
I liked the progress made by Harvey in his therapy session. From reaching for Donna subconsciously in his imagination or dream, he sought her out consciously in the file room & invited her to dinner. She or her opinion still bothers him as was evident in the second therapy session.

Liked Donna for her quick thinking in going to Jessica at the end as soon as Louis left in anger towards Harvey's office. For her part, she tried to avoid the face-off earlier too (thinking abt Harvey first comes naturally to her & is a habit) but decided to come clean later (thinking abt herself).

Mike was commendable yet again & Rachel seems poised to be a good attorney.
Still iffy about Soloff and am not about to give him a clean chit right this moment. He might not let go so easily especially if he has a chip on his shoulder wrt how easy he perceives things have been for Harvey professionally. Let's see if he is genuinely reaching out to Harvey through Mike or challenging him further with Mike's promotion & trying to create a rift between them. But based on what they showed, Soloff is redeemable if he keeps on the same path.

@SayaneeH.Lecter : I am totally not irritated at Louis. Harvey was right when he said he is a 4 years old. And he obviously has issues when it comes to Harvey + it's his sister. All brothers are irrational when it is about their sisters😆
Harvey I am disappointed at. Getting physical with a co-worker is a Big NO! But again, I am not mad. Louis went to his childhood. Everyone knows that's his weak spot. After the doctor compared him with his mother, Louis caught him in the wrong moment.

I may be in minority. But I support Jessica on the Mike issue. He does not need more attention. Specially with Hardman back, it will take only one private detective to get the whole truth out. There is too much at stake here.

I too liked Mike and Soloff working together. And the way Jack said, he feels Harvey has everything easy...I now understand him better. We all know Jessica is partial to Harvey, always has been.
But having said that, I am not giving him the clean chit. Apparently he has a chip on his shoulder & that is never a good thing on this show.

I think I would love one flashback episode where they show how Jessica met Harvey for the first time. What did she see in him that she actually funded his law school with a promise of a job. Had to be something great😉

Ok watched the episode finally!😃
Things that I liked

> Harvey gaining his old self back and told Donna to mind her own business👍🏼. Once she is off the hook she no longer carries that leverage.
>Harvey learning the lesson not to tell everything to his secretary😉😆
>Mike and Soloff did well👍🏼 their trust issues were presented well.
>Mike impressing Soloff👏
> Soloff seems to be gaining his spine and loyalty
>Harvey refusing Esther for another date because of Louis
>Jessica telling Mike to refuse the promotion is correct since Mike does not have a degree and if the secret opens up, it may lead to Mike being jobless. The firm's reputation takes a hit.

Things I didn't like

> Donna has NO business to tell Harvey whether he should tell Louis or not given that she is thinking for HERSELF now.

> Daniel Hardman again, seriously? How long can he be after the firm and lose?

> I did not like Donna Harvey dinner. Donna is behaving like a lover with Harvey when clearly he is not reciprocating for 12 years!

Other points
Esther is an adult and she can make her own decisions, she slept with Harvey on her own accord and wanted to pursue further. Harvey refused to take it further as he felt he is betraying Louis. Now Louis actually has NO right to interfere in Esther's choice of whom she wants to have a relationship with unless of course the person is criminal, which Harvey isnt. Even if he has issues with Harvey then he needs to tell his sister Esther and NOT Harvey. ( I found this strange since the show is US based and that society is far more liberal on these matters). I cannot fathom this idea of brother interfering in sister's personal life when she is a successful entrepreneur!! I look at it as deliberate scripting flaw.

Louis was clearly heckling Harvey when repeatedly he told him not to start off something he won't be able to handle but he kept on riling him up and those childhood comments were uncalled for. That was mean and below the belt. Harvey hitting Louis is justified.

Rachel coming to help Louis was nice but is it because Harvey or Donna told her to?

As much as I like Harvey, I agree with Blacklambo..this fight with Louis is on Harvey..He promised Louis and then broke it..Louis has too much history with Harvey and Ester to have this not affect him. Yes Louis didn't need to spew so much venom but thats not enough reason to beat people up..of course his current state of mind added to his actions, being told that he is like his mother in a few respects..would have unhinged him..but IMO this one's on him
it was a reverse of what we usually see...Louis making a mistake/wrong decision, trying to hide it/cover up and it coming to bite his ass..this time Harvey is in Louis' place
we have seen the situation in reverse several times.. Louis reacting in haste against Harvey and it coming to bite him ,..this time Harvey's in Louis' place
I hope the resolution involves something more than Louis getting to know of Harvey's panic attacks

the strong point of suits is the relations they have built between most characters.. I miss Jessica Harvey , maybe not as much as Harvey Mike or Harvey Donna but quite a bit..the relationship they share, mentor-mentee, business partners, friends, family..she has his back even if it means putting her rep at stake..but she doesn't take bullshit from him either
They might not show a lot of their interactions this season but its always implied how she almost always do something that is good for him..will be interesting to see how she deals with the situation at hand and how she reacts when she gets to know of his panic attacks..

Donna-Harvey had an honest interaction and tried to work on their friendship..it was good while the temporary truce latest.. Sad to see from being able to discuss anything to maintaining boundaries ..its going to require a lot of work and time to even get back to semblance of what they had..

Soloff trying to make amends and recommending Mike for junior partnership..Mike deserves it..he is brilliant but on the other hand he doesn't deserve it either..Jessica isn't wrong there..she has worked too hard to get where she is..her letting Mike stay even if for Harvey in itself was huge..

that one interaction with Hardman is probably gonna cost Soloff..but from today's episode, the guy might just be redeemable..

On a side note: less of Rachael.. So one more episode where I didn't dislike her..

Donna is dating some guy.hmm
They still haven't revealed Donna's side of feelings
Has Donna not realised that something is off with Harvey..or she is too embroiled in the situation herself and trying to maintain a difference to not have noticed things

I get that Esther and Harvey are consenting adults and can make their own decisions, but when a friends requests you on good will not to get involved with his sister and you promise that you wouldn't, its a promise one should generally keep atleast till you clear it out that you are interested in the sister with the friend..Louis has difficult relations with both Harvey and ester, but he felt more comfortable asking for the promise from Harvey than Ester so he did..I dont think its abt being liberal but more so about breaking a promise/trust/truce...add to that wanting to protect your sister who is going through a divorce from a man you know has commitment issues
Harvey was feeling guilty because he knew he had broken someones trust, he was wrong to have hidden the fact from louis

@donna-harvey dinner: apart form donna bracing the point that she isnt jealous, I didnt have problem with other parts of the dinner..yeah she didnt have to state she isnt jealous..but friends (atleast close ones) do advice regarding personal matters..maybe with the offer for dinner, Donna thought they could go back to being close friends..and harvey clearly stated that the boundaries will be a lot tighter henceforth..their relationship is a work in progress
atlest they started talking normally

There seems to be an unspoken bond between the two in the way they look out for each other. Saw a deleted scene from s1 on YT where she felt that he was the right person to lead the firm after her but wasn't ready yet coz he lacked compassion. Besides, their bond would provide more reasons for Harvey-Mike relationship.
