Chapter 5A

Next day

Taani was standing near the bed looking at the pool of dresses she had spread on her bed thinking what she will be wearing to go out with her brother.

Feeling confused she sat on the bed with a cry face and her favorite teddy in her hand.

Just then Sneha entered the room and saw the whole mess on the bed and her best friend sitting on the bed with a cry face.

Sn: Taanu what's all this?

She asked pointing towards the mess on the bed.

T: mai dress select kar rahi thi par koi b achi nahi hai. Ab mai kya pehnungi?

She said with a pout.

Sn: Aww!! bas itni si baat. Mai tumhare liye kuch layi hu.

T: kya?

Taani asked with the excitement. Sneha showed the packet.

Sn: aj tum ye pehnogi.

T: wow!! Bahut achi hain. Mai abi change karke ati hu.

She went inside jumping to change while Sneha smiled seeing her bff smiling.

In academy

Rey was on the call with his dad.

R: Dad I have classes. How can I just leave?

R.dad: Rey! They are our foreign clients and they want to shop so you can take a day leave. Tell anyone to take classes for today.

R: okk dad I will go.

R. dad: Good. Make them comfortable ok?

R: yes dad. Bye.

R.dad: bye son.

Rey saw Swayam passing by and called him.

R: Swayam wait!!!

Sw: kya hua dude?

R: actually aj ki classes tu conduct karega kya? Dad ke kuch foreign clients aye h and I have to take them for shopping. Please!!

Sw: tu please kyu bol raha hai mai conduct kar lunga teri classes.

R: thanks dude chal mai nikalta hu.

Rey hugged him hurriedly and went.

Sw: shit!!! Mai toh bhul gaya Doll ko b leke jana tha bahar and I just promised her yesterday.

He ran his fingers in his hairs thinking what he should do.

Sw: I think mujhe cancel karna padega.

He dialed the landline no.

Conversation on phone.

Sw: hello Doll?

Sne: Nope, it's me Sneha!

Sw: doll kaha hain?

Sne: Wait let me call her.

"Taani"

Taani came out wearing the dress and was twirling around.

T: kaisi lag rahi hu?

Sne: bahut cute. Come Swayam ka call on.

T: bhaiiyu ka call hain.

Taani took the call and bombarded her questions.

T: bhaiyu kaha ho? kab aaoge? Pata hain mai toh ready b ho gayi bas ab ap jaldi se aa jao. Aur pata hain Sneha na mere liye dress b layi aur maine wahi pehni. Ye batao ab ap kaha pe ho? nikal gaye na? ap kuch bol kyu nahi rhe ho bolooo...

Sw: doll shant. Tum bolne dogi toh bolunga na.

T: ab toh chup ho gayi ab toh bolo.*pout*

Sw: Doll actually.. mai na... nahi aa paunga. Mujhe kuch kaam hain.

He said with great difficulty knowing he made his doll sad by not fulfilling his promise.

While on the other hand Taani's eyes started to fill with tears.

T: okk!!

That's the only thing she said and went inside the room running while Sneha didn't know what exactly happened took the phone.

Sn: Swayam what did you say Taani was crying.

Sw: mai nahi ja sakta Doll ke saath kuch kaam aa gaya.

Sn: Swayam you know she was so excited and happy few minutes back and now she's crying.

Sw: I just don't know mai kya karu. Please kuch b karke use cheer up karo I'll come home soon after I finish my work.

Sneha thought something and said.

Sne: can I go with Taani outside. Tum nahi aa paye toh kya hua I'm there right?

Sw: but-

Sne: come on Swayam she'll be safe home and she will be happy too.

Sw: okay! As you say but please thoda dhyan se.

Sne: oh yes Swayam!! I will be careful.

They hung the call.

Sneha went inside the room and saw her sleeping on the bed and crying hugging her teddy .

She sat beside her and caressed her hair.

Sne: Taani get up hume jana hain na bahar ghumne

T: par... (sniff)... bhaiyu toh nahi aa rhe hai na?

Sne: bhaiyu nahi hain toh kya hua mai toh hu na.

T: Sachi?

Sne: Muchi!! Ab ansoo pocho aur chalo.

T: par bhaiyu ne ha kaha na.

Sne: ha baba bhaiyu na ha kaha hain.

T: yeahh. Ab hum bahut maza karenge.

She started jumping up and down. Soon they left the house.

Chapter5B

In the park

Taani went to park along with Sneha and started playing. They both played but soon Sneha got tired and sat on nearby bench and Taani was playing on the swing. Sneha got a call and she went a little away to talk.

Taani looked here and there to find Sneha when she couldn't find her she started moving to the other side of the road where the car was parked.

Rey was returning home when his car stopped at the red signal near the park. He saw a girl crossing the road but then his eyes got widen when he noticed a bike running towards her with a speed.

Taani was crossing the road and didn't notice the bike. Rey pulled her towards him and encircled his arms around her protectively. He saw her face which showed fear and her eyes were shut tightly. He raised his hands and put the strands of hair behind the ear which were blocking his view to see the beautiful face. Taani opened her left eye and saw the person holding her. Then she opened both the eyes wide and covered her mouth. Rey got lost in her brown orbs and felt his stomach turning inside out. She moved her hand forward and touched his cheek with her index finger which bought Rey out of his dreamland.

T: haw!!! Superhero!

Rey looked back and both his side to look whom she is calling superhero.

R: kaun superhero? Mai?

He asked pointing towards himself.

T: ha ap superhero ho.

R: wo kaise?

T: offo!! Apko nahi pata? Ap toh air me b dance kar rahe the aur gire b nahi aur aj apne mujhe bachaya isliye ap super se b superhero ho.

She started jumping up and down in excitement.

T: yeah!!!! Mai superhero se mili yeahh yeahhh

Rey saw everyone was looking at her weirdly and her dress was flying due to wind.

R: hey stop gir jaogi stop

Rey was trying to stop her but couldn't. While jumping up and down her leg tripped and she was going to fall but rey saved her by holding her from her waist and made her stand properly.

R: mai keh raha tha na don't jump but tum suni nahi gir jati toh.

T: haw!! Ap toh bilkul Bhaiyu ki tarah datte ho.

R: bhaiyu kaun ?

T: apko nahi pata mere Bhaiyu. My big brother.

She said this with a wide smile on her face.

R: oh tumhara Bhai b hai. Naam kya hai tumhare bhai ka?

T: bhaiyu ka naam-

She stopped in the middle seeing something her eyes were shinning and she had a wide smile on her face. Rey saw in the direction she was looking only to see candy floss.

R: tumhe chahiye?

T: ha par mere pas paise nahi hai.

She said with a sad face and sat on the bench behind her. Rey don't know why but couldn't see her sad face went to the shop and bought candy floss for her and kept in front of her. She saw the candy floss in front of her and smiled widely.

T: ye mere liye?

She asked pointing towards herself. Rey nodded his head. She started jumping again while Rey shook his head at her childish behavior.

Rey was going to sit beside her when his phone rang. He went to receive the call. Here Taani saw Sneha and went to her. Rey turned around after finishing his call only to find no one. He looked around but couldn't find her and moved towards the car with smile on his face hoping he will meet her soon again maybe here itself.

Sneha was searching for Taani everywhere when she saw her coming towards her.

Sne: Taani kaha thi tum pata hai mai kitna dar gayi thi

T: sorry. Mai tumhe dhundh rahi thi par tum mili nahi toh car ke pas gayi. Haw! Car se yaad aya main a superhero se mili aur usne mujhe ye b dia. Dekho wo waha khada hai.

She turned around to show but he was nowhere to be seen.

Sne: Taani waha koi nahi hai chalo.

Sne: (in mind): pata nahi ye superhero kaun hai. Swayam ko batana padega. Oh god why did I left her? Hope he wasn't someone bad.

They soon left for house in the car.
