i'm sorry but i'm bad at deciphering intentions. the intention, the motive, why he made it should all be clear in the movie itself but i could not find it. if karan johar wud have made it clear in the beginning through some interview or disclaimer it wud have been much better.. but liking is an individual's choice so..i never liked kuch kuch hota hai as well. the idea of the movie KANK was ok.. that there's no reason to like/dislike your partner even if he/she is perfect. but in the movie it was not handled well. i feel this way bec. i have a particular mindset and idea abt adultery but of course it's different frm person to person.

Thanks for the comments...actually many people interpret most things in their own mindset, so its fine if you like or dont like something...most of my family hated that movie esp. the ending....i just thought that priety zinta was awesome and the best person in there....

but I can see where you are coming from ....and afterall its up to the viewer to decide if the director got his message through us properly...
