How is a knee length skirt and a sleeveless shirt stripping or skin show?
Going to such exaggerated lengths only just overshadows other points and frankly makes the fandom look not much better than others who are quick to point out clothes and outfits.

Obviously, what they are doing is going back to Jannat/Zoya and trying to run the show on her and Shaad these two weeks. They are trying to appeal to a certain fanbase, and also think that this 'spunky' character will be something fresh and interesting.

As for her wearing knee length skirt and sleeveless, well Sanam too wore it for her job at the cafe and while she was initially uncomfortable she adjusted.

Frankly, the problem is with the show in trying to appeal to certain thoughts and sensibilities and showing girls 'uncomfortable' in the first place. Not everyone would be uncomfortable just because they suddenly wear a gown, western, sleeveless or short skirt.

Going by both some of Jannat and Sanam's stylish suits and sarees, sleeveless and flowing dresses/gowns would not have been any problem as was shown in cocktail party. Only thing would've been the strapless aspect of the gown.

And a knee-length skirt and a sleeveless shirt is such a big deal? In terms of the character who had just made a fuss at cocktaill, party yes. But skin show, no. And cocktail party was a strapless gown. This is sleeveless and a skirt. Which by the way, they will most likely have the requisite line and scene showing and telling the audience how the heroine is 'uncomfortable' but must do so for this 'mission.'

Better to not show such stupid lines and show women as comfortable and not make a big deal of outfits. But no, they need to play it both ways.

Why wasn't Jannat's tribal outfit met with same response of skin show and stripping back then?

KK.. I think you are right.
I myself wear such a dress to office at times😆 knee length skirt with an office shirt...So I really cannot say its stripping. I admit, I had not even watched it and commented. Yes it makes us look as silly as many out there who talk of clothes. BTW, I did mention that even the tribal outfit was just as revealing, maybe a little more!
In fact when Seher wore that cocktail gown, Aahil had no such monologue as to why Sanam is wearing this gown in which she may not be comfortable.. we knew that was Seher. He didn't..! but when Sanam came down wearing that black gown(though this one was a decollete with deep cut at back and a slit mid thigh) he had this monologue.
Anyhow, I don't know what would be happening. Maybe Sanam will be acting like Jannat and helping Shaad so atleast some of the fanbase can watch.
um.. but why is she being called Jannat still? Isn't she Sanam now? Surbhi herself is calling her character Jannat?
On your comment below KK-- PH are trying too hard and its becoming a tad too obvious. I just saw the segment after your reprimand on my judgemental comment on Sanam's dress😃.. AND VT is still trying... umm.. real hard

Minnie, that constant Jannat referring by both of them seriously is heights.
It only shows exactly that the PH are hell bent on their ShaJan love and really believe that they can/could have gone on after Aahil's death.

But lol, they are not allowed to do so. Coz others know reality. 🤣
