The smartest (and wisest for their age) Tapu Sena who have mostly handled lot of money in doing the decorations part in many GD parties and that too without any adult interference, can't take their clothes shopping decisions ? Hard to digest.

What was the exact point in stressing that they were WRONG in shopping alone? Was it handling lot of money (in turn getting cheated) or going alone (unsafe) or being indecisive. The CVs never specified what was wrong.

Good that you wrote this as I was thinking along same line...Tappu has organized many events, once he even sold all Gokuldham bhangar to bhangarwala and earned Rs 5000 profit and all were doing wah wahi of his business acumen...so shopping some tees and jeans is nothing...!!

And get that friends ...they are trying to teach you wrong things here...firstly these tappu sena
are nearly twenty and should be encouraged to be taught to be as much self-dependent as possible..if they always rely for small matters on others/parents...they will never be able to do anything on their own...that is why students in hostels and boarding schools are so disciplined and self-reliant ...!!

Secondly and most important is clothes and accessories are very much an extension of one's own personality and choices and unique individuality...so no one but yourself know best what you are inside , your basic nature, fascinations towards certain colors, style and dressing choice which can vary from Classic to Bohemian to Formal to Bold to Creative to Chic and Trendy...I have never liked anyone's choice for me and it never works..I know whats suits best for me ..jewelry, shoes, clothing and accessory all...only a toddler can rely on his mom for his style choices. I think it is only to feed parents' egos. It is quite backward.

@maharani Bang on post!

I was so irritated that in the next episode they were stressing that moms know best about which clothes to buy. Moms love their kids unconditionally and mean well always but clothes ? There is a generation gap here about the latest trends. Of coarse there are exceptions.

And what are they teaching here? That kids should never take independent decisions even in these small things? That Goli should just eat wafers while shopping because his mom knows best ! So when will they learn to take decisions?

What's even funnier and absurd is they are thought to be capable of dealing with ragging and bullies on their own, but incapable of making a simple choice of clothing.

Totally agree with you. They have handled so many activities of Gukuldhaam and shopped for many things but when it comes to shop for their own clothes, they need their moms. But for how long? What do the makers want to show by this track? And what on earth made Jetha think that Tappu will wear clothes similar to him and go to college. Jetha is not a dumb guy. He praises Babita's fashion sense every now and then but what happens when it comes to his own son.

OMG soo true!! I agree with all of you!
I think they don't want Tappu sena to grown up..ye college bhi unwillingly dikhaya...but they realized they can't squeeze them more into those half-pants...so on the side, indicating that they are still kids..😕
In another track, they wanted to stress that they are still school-going kids but as this is Maharashtra, there is no 11th & 12th mostly, so they are to join an inter college.
