The real story is different. Basically it was either playing a wrestler in sultan or playing a race car driver in Indian version of Fast and Furious. But salman's PR thought that Salman behind wheels may not go down well with the public.

from 2000 to ek tha tiger tak, iss ki career toh kisiko dekhane ki kabil hi nahi thi.. he owes his whole career to yrf...

his whole family owes their career to yrf 😆... agar yrf nahi hota to salim khan aaj galli galli bhik magta huwa nazar aata sayad and salman sayad jail mein becoz he wouldn't have been able to hire lawyers for his court cases
