Mini sketch before the chapter...

Raghu.. As all of u know..

MachMach Singh:-
A very dear friend of Raghu.. He is with Raghu from the first grade.

Amit Trivedi:-
He is also a dear friend of Raghu.. He met him at the training camp.

Chapter No 1:-
It was raning heavily in Mumbai today. At the Mumbai university a boy was getting drenched closing his eyes. He was feeling every drop of rain felling on him. It was like he was all lost. He saw a girl's face. A smiling bright face. He had a small smile on his lips.
MachMach was a dear friend. He always had been. He was looking at his friend Raghu from far away. He had never seen him doing this before.
MachMach:- "lagta hai woh pagal hogaya!"
Amit who was busy at his mobile looked at him.
Amit:- "kon pagal hogaya bhai?"
MachMach:- "humara dost humara bhai.. Dekh toh us ki halat. Aj say pehlay woh kabhi campus mein is tarah nhn bheega.. Strange very strange..."
Amit:- "aray ho ga kuch... Chal uth.. Abhi bas reunion start hnay wala hai..."
MachMach and Amit grabbed their umbrellas and started to walk towards Raghu. He was so busy in enjoying the rain that he never knew what time it was.
MachMach tapped raghu's shoulders which brought him back to reality.
Raghu opened his eyes and looked at him.
MachMach:- "Tu theek hai na?"
Raghu:- "tujhay lagta hai woh ayai gi?"
MachMach:- "pata nhn dost.. Kuch keh nhn sakta matlab pehlay 4 5 saal say uskay baray mein kisi ko nhn pata. Ab woh kahan hai Kia kar rahi? Shadi..."
Raghu:- "rehne de bhai.. Tujhay q lagta us ki shadi hogai... Jab dekho shadi shadi.."
He said in an angry tune.
MachMach:- "dekh bhai common sense hai.. 4 5 saal hogayai usko college say gayai ho sakta hai kar li ho?"
Raghu was about to make a comment when Amit came.
Amit:- "boss Kia hua why fighting.."
MachMach:- "kuch nhn yaar chor.."
Raghu:- "Amit kahan tha tu?"
Amit:- "aray bhai bhook lagi thi. Tu toh bheega at mein busy tha toh I thought thoda sa hojayai..."
They went inside the auditorium.
Raghu was looking here and there. As in he was in search of someone.
MachMach:- "bhai Kia hogaya tujhay ab? Bas bhi karday!"
Raghu:- "yaar kuch nhn main restroom say aya."
MachMach:- "nhn bhai hum bhi sath chaltay hai q keh Tu jayai ha toh wapis nhn ayai ga dhondta rahay ga."
Amit:- "kisko dhonday ga yeh?"
MachMach:- "aray bhai kisko dhonday ga yeh aik hi toh hai!"
Amit:- "ohh acha tu aj yeh is tarah..."
Raghu:- "Bas Karo office say phone araha. Haan hello.. Officer Raghunath Naik here.. Hmmm... Okkk... Yes hum wahan atay hain. Chaliye ab chaliye.."
The three of them left from the campus. Raghu was turning and looking desperately till the last sight.

It was evening when Raghu came home. As he entered, he heard voices coming up from the drawing room. He tapped his forehead.
Raghu:- "aik Maa aur unkay boring dramas. Raghu beta is say pehlay Maa tumhay dekhay khisak lo."
He decided to sneak quietly. He reached near the stairs when his phone started ringing. He bit his tongue. Mrs. Naik got up and came out.
Mrs. Naik:- "Raghu tu agaya beta?"
Raghu picked up his phone by then and signaled her a minute excuse.
Raghu:- "Haan MachMach is waqt phone Kia kuch pata laga?"
MachMach:- "nhn bhai nothing.. Kuch nhn.."
Raghu:- "ok theek hai subah office mein miltay hain."
He hang up the phone and turned towards his mother.
Mrs. Naik:- "Tu aya kab? Chal mun hath dho lay main drawing room mein Khana lagati hoon sath khayai gain aur Mera aik last show rehta hai woh dekhay gain."
Raghu:- "Maa drawing room nhn.. Ap shows ka repeat par repeat dekhtay ho aur mujhay saas bahu walay dramas samajh nhn atay."
Mrs. Naik:- "chup kar yeh sachai dekhatay hain.. Chal ja kar fresh ho ja."
Raghu went up to his bedroom. It was a simple bedroom. Walls painted white. A bed, cupboard, a book shelf, a small dressing table, big white and blue curtains. It was simple bedroom. Raghu took a shower changed into a pyjama and t-shirt and came down.
Raghu sat in the drawing room. He switched the channel to news. After a few mints his mother entered. She kept the food on the table and took the remote.
Raghu:- "Maa laga rehnay do."
Mrs. Naik:- "chup kar mera serial araha hai bas phir main Aram say so sakti hoon."
Raghu gave a smile and started eating. He finished his food and laid his head in his mother lap. His mom started to caress him. As she finished the show she looked at Raghu who was lost in deep thoughts.
Mrs. Naik:- "Kia hogaya beta Tu theek hai?"
Raghu:- "haan Maa main theek hoon. Kuch nahin bas neend agai hai!"
Raghu got up and started to leave.
Mrs. Naik:- "Raghu sun!"
Raghu:- "Ji Maa Kia hua?"
Mrs. Naik:- "toh main phir unko haan kardo?"
Raghu turned and lifted his eyebrow.
Raghu:- "haan kinko? "
Mrs. Naik:- "woh Jahan main be woh ladki dekhi thi.. Dekh beta jitna time tu ne manga tha main ne dia. Balkeh us say bhi 2 mahiney zayada diyai.. Ab aur nahin main unko haan kar rahi hoon. Bas!"
Raghu heard this and felt angry.
Raghu:- "aik baat bataiye Kia itni jaldi hai Maa? Main usay dhond raha hoon. Please Maa..."
Mrs. Naik:- "beta Kia woh mili aj tak.. Usay 4-5 saal hogayai na koi uskay baray mein janta hai na suna hai kisi ne.. Ho sakta hai woh India mein hi nhn hai!"
Raghu:- "Kia Maa ap bhi.. Aik woh MachMach hai Jo kehta hai key uski shayad shadi hogai aur aik ap ho Jo kehti ho shahyad India mein hi nhn.. Ap logon ko meri khushi important hai ya nhn."
Raghu left in anger.
Mrs. Naik:- "Raghu baat sun beta.. Yahan aa.."
But before she got do anything he was gone.
Raghu came to his bedroom. He shut the door in anger. But this was more sadness than that of anger. His eyes were filled up with tears. He switched on a projector and sat quietly. All his white walls were filled up with a girl's picture. He went near and touched the girl's face. His life was empty like of those walls but this girl filled all the colors in his life.
Raghu:- "kahan ho tum? Maa mera rishta Tay kar rahi hai.. Aur tumhara kuch bhi nhn pata.. Kahan ho tum?"

Precap:-
Raghu:- "kuch nhn hua Maa par bhoot sawar hai shadi karwanay Kia meri."
MachMach:- "Kia?"
Raghu:- "haan yaar aur..."
MachMach:- "array bhai yeh toh khushi ki baat hai."
Raghu:- "abhay chup bay antara Kay Ilawa kisi aur say shadi tu pagal hai!"

Chapter No 2:-
Next day the sun came up. It was like Raghu slept just few hours. But this was more of his normal routine from the last 4 years. Raghu's mom came and opened the curtains of the room.
Raghu:- "Maa Kia karti ho? "
Mrs. Naik:- "Raghu uth beta.. 7 baj gayai hain."
Raghu got up and sat.
Raghu:- "Maa raat Kay liye.. Woh sorry..."
Mrs. Naik smiled.
Mrs. Naik:- "it's fine beta... Raghu aik baat bolon.."
Raghu:- "haan Maa"
Mrs. Naik:- "ab bas karday... Agar usay Milna hota toh mil jati.. Please bas kar... Main Maa hoon... Tera acha Bura janti hoon.."
Raghu:- "Maa main Kia karun? Uskay ilawa I never main me kabhi socha bhi nahin hai.. Koi ladki kaisay? Matlab ap samjh rahay ho na"
Mrs. Naik:- "haan beta janti hoon... Lekin what if woh bhi move on kar chuki hai.. Shadi kar chuki hai... Given Jo uskay papa Kay sath hua... Unka sara business Sara paisa koi nhn janta uskay bad woh kahan gayai? Kahan hain? Aur ho sakta hai unho ne halat ko dekh kar uski shadi..."
Raghu lift his head. He had tears in his eyes..
Raghu:- "ap mujhay aj ka din dijiye main sochna chahta hoon..."
Mrs. Naik:- "janti hoon beta main... theek hai Lekin sirf ja ka din... Mujhay unhay jawab daina hai beta."
Raghu:- "ji Maa..."
Saying this Raghu took his towel and went to the shower.
Mrs. Naik knew that he was all sad from inside.
Raghu took his shower. He came out while drying his hairs. He was all lost.
Raghu:- "Antara kaha ho ho tum??"

--------------Flashback Starts-----------

Raghu was in his 3rd year. He was the most charming ones in college.. MachMach was his only best friend. They were together when they were children.. Together they went to school... Together they studied and together they were. After raghu's father death, MachMach gave him a lot of support. MachMach parents loved Raghu and Rasika like MachMach and Asha...

It was the beginning of 2011... A new badge came... New students.. Raghu and MachMach were of the batch 2009... MachMach had a girlfriend name tanisha.
It was raining heavily. Raghu, MachMach were sitting at the building corridor talking.
MachMach:- "Bhai tu Tina say q nhn milta?"
Raghu:- "mujhay nhn Milna kisi Tina Lina say!"
MachMach:- "yaar Bhai plz Tanisha Meri jaan kha chuki hai samjha kar!"
Raghu got up and went to the window. He saw a girl at the back side of the building. Her hands were wide stretched out and drops of rain were dropping on her face. She was enjoying every drop of rain. Raghu was looking at her. Due to the water on the window it was not clear. Raghu stood there looking at the girl for 15 mints quietly.
Raghu:- "oye MachMach chal nechay chaltay hain! Thoda weather enjoy karkay atay hain.."
MachMach was too surprised to hear this.
MachMach:- "Bhai tu theek hai na? Tu aur barish????"
Raghu gave him glare.
MachMach:- "acha chal.."
They both got up and went out. Raghu came out and was looking at that girl. Her eyes were closed and she was living all the drops of rain. A small smile was playing on her lips. Raghu came out looking at her.. He was so busy looking at her that he never knew when he was in rain. The rain which he never liked or loved. MachMach was confused looking at this.
MachMach:- "oye Bhai Kia hua tujhay?!"
Raghu was too lost looking at her.
MachMach followed his gaze and surprised that he is looking at a girl.
MachMach:- "Bhai Kia hua?"
Raghu:- "who ladki kon hai?"
Pointing towards the girl Raghu said.
MachMach saw and said.
MachMach:- "aray who Antara hai Antara kaul... Arnav kaul... Kaul diamonds... Unki beti.."
A small smile appeared on raghu's lips...

A small smile still appeared on his lips when he thought of her. The first time he saw her.
Raghu:- "aik dafa tum mil jao... Sab sahi kar doon ga..."
Saying this he wore his clothes. He took his gun from the drawer and put his watch on the hand. He was wearing a blue jeans and a black shirt and a brown leather jacket. He wore his shoes and came down. He was about to have breakfast.
He saw its Amit who was calling.
Raghu:- "haan Bhai kuch pata kaha.??"
Amit:- "nhn Bhai... Itna pata Chala keh Arnav kaul London ja chukay hain par Antara unkay sath hai ya nhn yeh nhn pata..."
A sadness took over Raghu.
Raghu:- "chal theek hai thank you..."
He hung up the phone and was in deep thoughts.
Raghu got up from the table and went to the door.
Raghu:- "Maa main ja raha hoon..."
Saying this he left.
He reached his office and went to his desk. MachMach and Amit were already there.
They saw that Raghu is not in a good mood.
Amit:- "Kia hua Bhai? Lagti teri tabiyat theek nhn?"
Raghu:- "kuch nhn hua Maa par bhoot sawar hai shadi karwanay Kia meri."
MachMach:- "Kia?"
Raghu:- "haan yaar aur..."
MachMach:- "array bhai yeh toh khushi ki baat hai."
Raghu:- "abhay chup bay antara Kay Ilawa kisi aur say shadi tu pagal hai!"
Amit:- "toh ab Kia karay ha tu?"
Raghu:- "pata nhn ab mujhay bhi nhn pata..."
MachMach:- "Bhai ab bas janay day... Koi faida nhn hai!!!"
Raghu:- "hmmm Lekin Bhai how can I?"
MachMach:- "sun main bhi tanisha ko bohat pyar karta tha Lekin university Kay bad Sab same nhn rehta.. Har koi apni life ki direction mein Chala jata hai.."
Raghu was in all lost and confused... He sat on his seat and was thinking and thinking.
He then got busy in his work but all his mind was still diverted towards Antara..

It was soon night.. Raghu came on a decision finally.. He came home early today.
Mrs. Naik:- "aj mera beta jaldi agaya.."
Raghu:- "haan Maa kaam aj zyada nhn tha..."
Rasika:- "Bhai ap fresh hojao sath khana khatay hain.."
Raghu shook his head and went upstairs. He took a small shower, wore his track pants and shirt and came down.
Raghu:- "Maa main ne decision lay liya hai.."
Mrs. Naik and rasika all were looking at him.
Mrs. Naik:- "Kia socha phir tumne..."
Raghu:- " ap un logon ko haan kar dain... Main shadi ko tayar hoon.."
Saying this he started to eat..
Both Mrs. Naik and rasika were surprised to hear his answer.
Rasika:- "haan kardein Bhai!"
Raghu nodded in a yes ad kept on eating.
Mrs. Naik:- "aur Antara..!?"
Raghu:- "Maa I am unable to find her and pata bhi nhn lag raha.. I think I should move on with life now.."
Saying this he excused himself and went to his bedroom.
Rasika dialled a number.
Rasika:- "haan Bhai ne haan kardi plan successful.."
Mrs. Naik and rasika did a hi five.
Raghu came up to his bedroom. He locked the door from inside and went to the projector. He on the projector and sat in the bed.
Pictures of Antara again appeared on the walls.
Raghu had tears in her eyes. He was all lost on her face.


From that day since Raghu used to steal glances of her. Almost in the whole day he could see her for at least 20 times... Doing her classes, submitting her assignments and all the related work. Almost every day Antara and her friends used to spend at least one hour inside the library. Raghu used to be present in the library by that time... he used to wait for them to come and take places. As soon as Antara and her friends used to take seats. Raghu and MachMach used to sit and steal glances of her. Raghu use to get mesmerized all by her beauty. Antara was really beautiful...Her simple dressing, light make up and pure beauty used to attract Raghu more..

Raghu finished his studies. He like his father wanted to be a police cop and serve the country.. He applied to the police department crime branch and soon got selected due to his father good name. It was during his training when he got to know that antara's father got an allegation of fraud. His business was finished and now he had nothing.. All of their property and house was auction and no one knew where they went..

Raghu completed his training and after joining his duty searched for her.. Looked everywhere with the help of MachMach and Amit but it was of no use...But now Raghu gave up. It was not giving up but he was not able to find her. He still remembers the words that they used in television regarding antata's family as MachMach told him. He could feel her pain...


A tear escaped raghu's eyes. He was looking at antara's face constantly when he heard a door knock.Raghu stoop up switched off the projector and went to the open the door. He realized that he had tears in his eyes. He quickly cleaned them and opened the door. As he opened Mrs. Naik was standing there.
Mrs. Naik:- "tu sogaya tha Kia?"
Raghu:- "nhn Maa ap ao na.."
With that Mrs. Naik entered the room... She sat on the bed.
Mrs. Naik:- "main ne un logon ko inform kardi hai and they are happy... Tu khush hai??"
Raghu:- "hmmm... Ap khush ho Maa!!?"
Mrs. Naik:- "haan beta main toh khush hoon.."
Raghu sat down and put his head on her lap.
Raghu:- "agar ap khush ho toh main bhi khush hoon..."
Raghu was not at all happy...
Mrs. Naik caressed his hairs.
Mrs. Naik:- "Raghu Parso Sagai hai tere beta.. Aur kal Thoda jaldi ajana hum shopping jayain gain... Invites ka kaam Rasika sambhal lay gi.."
Raghu:- "ji Maa."
Mrs. Naik:- "chal ab tu soja.. Main chalti hoon.."
Raghu got up and went to bed. He tried to sleep but sleep was far away tonight. He was still seeing antara's face. How her eyes use to shine.. When she talked the movements of her hands. He soon dozed off in all of this.

The next morning Raghu got up and saw the sun shining... the projector was still on and Antara was still all over his room.. he stood up and switched it off... He got fresh up and came out... he wore a black pant with a beige shirt...Raghu came down and went to the breakfast table...
Mrs. Naik:- "Raghu beta aj thoda jaldi ajana... Sham ko thoda shopping jana hai..."
Raghu nodded. Raghu got up and went to the office.
As he entered he saw MachMach and Amit sitting.
MachMach:- "Raghu yaar main kia sun raha hoon kal Teri Sagai hai...?"
Raghu:- "haan Bhai Maa chahti hai toh main ne haan kardi.."
Amit:- "aur Antara... ??"
Raghu:- "Antara who hamesha meray dil mein rahay gi... mera dil hamesha usko hi pyar karay ga..."
Amit and MachMach went all sad... the day started.. all of them got busy... it was evening when Raghu went home.. Mrs. Naik and rasika were all ready...
Raghu took them shopping.. Mrs. Naik saw that Raghu was not all happy...
Mrs. Naik took an engagement ring for her daughter-in-law... rasika brought a new dress...
The day went by and Raghu along with Mrs. Naik and rasika came back home...
It was night... tomorrow was Raghu's engagement... He was sad... He couldn't find her... it was all bad for him... but he didn't knew that tomorrow his life will be changed for good...
