Temple
Khushi's disturbed and tormented mind sought after its solace, which could only be obtained by going to places where there is peace in abundance or by speaking to the person whom your heart, as a mirror reflects.
Khushi sat down on the stairs outside the temple, hoping that her mind gets more stable and she would be able to achieve what she wants, love from Arnav all over again.
Suddenly Khushi felt a warm hand on her shoulder, and it didn't take too long for her to realize the touch of her mentor, her guide and her mother-in-law's touch. It was Sadhana Singh Raizada, who had come to pray for her son's happiness, who happened to see a grief-stricken Khushi.
" Sadhana Aunty!" said Khushi, while getting up from her sitting position and taking her blessings by touching her feet.
" Khush Raho, Bitiya." wished Sadhana, while holding Khushi from her shoulder and raising her up, making her stand on her feet, again.
" How are you, beta?" asked Sadhana, lovingly.
" I am fine, Aunty." lied Khushi and asked,
" How are you, Aunty?"
" I am good too, Beta." answered Sadhana.
" I am really very happy to see you here, Aunty. It has been 6 years since we have met, isn't it?" asked Khushi, trying to sound cheerful but the motherly nature of Sadhana, had found out the pain hidden in Khushi's hazel eyes.
" 6 years and so many changes in you and Arnav that I feel as if ages have passed." said Sadhana, while holding Khushi's hand in hers.
Where voice loses doesn't have its effect, silence has. Khushi had no answers for the statement Sadhana has passed.
" Can I ask you something, beta?" asked Sadhana, looking at the alien awkwardness and hesitance on the face of ever carefree Khushi.
" Of course, Aunty."
" Khushi Beta, after you left from Chotte's life, he became so careless. He got addicted to smoking and drinking, which he once hated. Only you can change him, Beta. Please come back into his life." requested Sadhana, who really loved Khushi for what she was today and she was before too.
" But Aunty, with what right can I interfere in his personal life? He no longer considers me as his friend, then how can I even advise him?" asked Khushi, who didn't want to reveal that Arnav forcibly married her.
"You have all the rights to interfere in his life, because you are his LIFE, Beta. And I also know that, he married you, forcibly. Then if not as his love, his LIFE then as his wife, Beta. I am begging you as his mother and his well-wisher. Can you please fulfill the promise you made to me, 6 years back?" asked Sadhana, with a loving look on her face who also wanted Khushi to get the love of her life back.
I will never let Arnav be alone in his life and spoil his life. I will always be his support and will stay with him, no matter what.
Some promises we do, change our lives forever. And one such promise was the promise Khushi made to Sadhana.
" How can I break the promise I made to you, Aunty? I will surely keep my promise and I will not let destroy his life by his own hands, at any cost." vowed Khushi, though her sixth sense warned her of the consequences of the plan that formulated in her super fast mind.
A genuine smile graced of Sadhana's lips as her try of uniting two separated lovers, was turning fruitful.

Shantivan,
" Arnav Babua, some girl wants to meet you and she is waiting for you downstairs." said Hariprakash, as Arnav's expressions turned into that of shock as the realization dawned on him.
" A girl? A media reporter? Or a colleague, HP?" asked Arnav, as he was worried if the news that Khushi was his wife got leaked due to that policeman.
" Neither of them, babua. But she said that she wants to meet you urgently." said Hari Prakash while going off to Sadhana, as she called him.
A stream of thoughts began to flow in Arnav's Harvard mind but there was some kind of intense pull which was pulling him to see the girl, who was waiting for him. He suddenly became restless as his heartbeats paced and breaths became deeper.
As soon as his eyes traced the petite form of Khushi standing in the living room and waiting for him, all the emotions instilled in him till then turned into that of hatred and anger.
" You? What do you think that you are doing in MY HOME?" asked Arnav, while moving close to Khushi, while the intensity in Arnav's eyes scared her but she didn't step back.
" What do you mean by YOUR HOME? It is MY HOME too." remarked Khushi proudly, as their combined voices made all the member of Raizada Family come down to see what was happening.
" Are you in your senses, Miss Gupta?" asked Arnav, raising his eyebrow at her.
" Do you doubt it?" Khushi questioned back him, testing his patience levels.
"Your talks definitely don't make any sense, Miss Gupta. This is Shantivan, not your home." said Arnav, though his instincts told him what was coming up next.
" I know it is Shantivan. And thats why I am here. I rightfully belong here because it is your home i.e, my husband's home, Mr.Arnav Singh Raizada." said Khushi, confidently while everyone gasped in shock except for Sadhana, her husband, Govind and Arnav.
" Khushi Gupta, you are crossing your limits. I am not in any kind of relationship with you so please get out of the house or else I know how to entertain trespassers." Arnav commented sarcastically hoping that Khushi realizes the seriousness behind those words.
Khushi chuckled immediately after Arnav completed his statement, much to everyone's shock, while Sadhana knew that Khushi knew how to bring Arnav back on track.
" I knew that you would give the exact same answer, Arnav. But I have my own preparations done. If you don't let me stay in MY HOME, then I am all set to reveal what happened 'that night' to the media and the image you created by working day and night will be destroyed in a click of your fingers. And your much valued family reputation, mitti mein mil jaye ga." Khushi said while hurting Arnav and even herself as she can bear any kind of pain for herself but for Arnav, she can't even tolerate a scratch on him.
There was love from both the sides but a single mistake changed their lives forever. Now there is pain from both the sides and will this action of Khushi change their lives again or plunge them deeper into the ocean of pain?
