I have always had an understanding that these dramas are only made for our parents generation only.

Like my mum who will watch the drama from the day it was born until it finishes. She will even watch it if it drags on or the story doesn't make sense.

We will tear it apart, but they will continue to watch it as it is.

I know the concept of MAM is not realistic but they have bases this show on the 80s/90s where this kind of concept would be excepted.

Thats why my mother can relate to the characters, the tikhi saas and nanand, the ghai jasi bahu, who is the doormat and the son who hasn't got a clue on what has been going on in the home, my mum has been through this all.

I am enjoying the drama because of this new concept, comedy scenes and dialogues which make me laugh out loud.

And even though the drama is dragging on for some, the characters and the humgama is keeping me entertained.

Looking forward to the scenes coming up

i just said it to my friend, if i watch it with logic sense, ill get headache as i got in the 1st 3 episodes, i guess the 2nd one was bigger headache, then i decided to enjoy it, so enjoying it and i too laugh seeing their actions

i watched Hum Log after the complete telecast in India after years i may say it was much much better than Mere Angne Mein.

forget the kind off family srivastav's is...but even marriage fixed with the bride n the groom meeting is not of our generation...

maybe it still happens but in villages where illetracy rate is high...in educated family's such things dont happen...

well, everybody's choice is different with regard to the soaps..but i got hooked to MAM bec. the story is very real..of course there may not be scheming and plotting going on in real lives, nor can anybody fool others for this long...but there r lot many mothers who love their daughters n put down their DIL's...they make their sons dance to their tunes ..i've heard so so many incidents...its hard to believe that a mother can do it to her children and grandchildren but it does happen..
