Well m a north indian bt in normal midle class family there r no such events.. In my sis weding there was jst mehndi n lediz sangeet where males wr not allowed n next day weding... Bt in punjabi weding.. 1st roka,2nd engegment.. then 3rd mata ki choki to take mata ka ashirwad. Engegment 4. Sangeet 5. Haldi 6. Mehndi 7. Chuda(white n red bangles) n kalire pehnane ki rasam by girlz family at nyt 8. Weding 9. Bidai n 10 reception in the end... N in boy's family after shadi grah parwesh n ring game in d end sr.

WELCOME.. it all depends on culture to culture.. as to which one will happen first! haldi or mehendi !! anyway this is what happened last time in JR.. i guess they will follow this only! 😊

even though i am north indian, in my place things are a little bit different! first is 'baraksha(done at groom's place), engagement(many places also called godbharai), haldi,sangeet, tilak(which may b before haldi even), than shadi, bidai and reception
