Is Devyani actually wrong? - Page 2

Devyani almost married Neil before stepping back and then clearly had feelings for him later, even during the Kaajal kaand. For that girl to do a complete about turn and marry her Jija (whom she developed feelings for consoling him about Anu!!) is shocking, at the very least.

For a sec forget about the whole dupe thing just imagine its real rajat and anu actually died then one or the other day rajat had to move on do you guys want to see him crying for anu for years if not dev then he would have moved on with some other girl it is his right and about neil and devyani do u really expect dev to go to neil so soon and forget everything he did to her and actually think anu has died and therefore marriage is taken ahead, its quite normal no body is cheating anu cause she is dead to them. Nobody is wrong in the situation. Just think it in a more realistic way rather than being obsessed with the leads.

I dont think Devyani is wrong nor is the family wrong. i think 1 year's time is enough for Rajat to move on. As far as Dev being upset about Anu being alive is concerned, I think any woman will feel bad when her marriage is going on and at the end point it is broken. Anu is dead for them for last year and as it is shown Rajat have tried multiple times to search for Anu but was never able to find her. So, it is acceptable to get irritated about getting the same result every time yet keep on trying the same thing for Dev as she was almost certain that Rajat wont be able to find Anu this time again and it was just an imagination of Alka.

I am sorry but I don't agree with you. How can you justify Devyani's irritation at the news of Anus possible survival. The woman in question is none other than her sister, the same sister who was willing to sacrifice her love for Devyani's happiness. This show was about the love the four sisters have for each other '' Chaar dil Ek Dhadkan''. The tagline says it all. Devyani 's reaction to the news is some how indigestible and has not gone down well with the viewers. She could have at least shown a little bit of concern and love for her sister, Anu deserved that much. Instead she was more worried about the wedding, this only makes her character appear shallow.

And given the love Rajat had for Anushka, Its impossible that he would have moved on within a year. Anushka meant the world to him and when someones world crumbles its very difficult and painful to pick up the pieces and continue living. It takes a considerable amount of time to recover from the tragic loss of a loved one, a loss that cannot be overcome within a year.

Thanks Ruq...! Wanted to comment on mustafa post...but, was afraid to make him feel bad and upset with me...as I don't agree with the arguments he gave to justify Devyani and so-called Rajat behaviours...!

One year is too short a time to move on, and forget the person we used to love more than life itself...! Here...I'm talking of Rajat, not Devyani...! For me...from the beginning, Devyani has always been a selfish, immature, spoilt brat...who thinks only about herself, her beauty and always jealous of Anu...! I still remember the way she behaved with Anu...the day the latter came home after 7 pm from the rehearsal of the Diwali event...! She was so rude to Anu...as if she was the maid of the house and didn't prepare food on time...! Now...Devyani must be on cloud 9, as Anu is her maid in real...! 😡

I dont know what made u think I will feel bad😕. After all, its a forum for all SSians and all have their own POVs and they ought to differ. As u said we all are friends and respect each other's opinions. So dont worry just chill.

@mustafa you actually are right yes devyani is thinking about herself, yes she is being selfish for her happiness but she is not wrong cause she is not cheating anybody if she didn't want her sister to be happy she would have never broken off her engagement with rajat because rajat had actually committed for marriage due to anu so ya now when she knows anu is no more with them it is her right to be happy . Everybody is not like anu so selfless ppl think about themselves that never makes them wrong and ya thinking about one's happiness in any matter doesn't make you a spoil brat.
