Shah Rukh Khans Dilwale vs Deepika Padukones Bajirao Mastani: 5

It is always exciting to see the battle of two big movies take on each other at the box office. This time around Christmas, we will get to see the mouth-watering clash between Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, one of the India's finest directors. The movies in question are Rohit Shetty's romantic action Dilwale and SLB's historic Bajirao Mastani. Well, we all know know what happened the last time these two clashed at the box office (Remember SRK's Om Shanti Om vs SLB's Saawariya in 2007). But this time around, one expects the real war to be between Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone (who plays titular role of Mastani). Deepika has been one of Shah Rukh's successful leading ladies but looks like she might end up being the collateral damage with the upcoming clash! Deepika Padukone got her big break in Bollywood, India's charismatic Hindi cinema industry and answer to West's Hollywood opposite none other than the King of Romance - Shah Rukh Khan in 2007 release Om Shanti Om. She played King Khan's kohl-eyed, delicate and beautiful Dream Girl in Farah Khan's magnum opus. The movie, which was a Diwali release not only became a blockbuster in Deepika's career but one of the best ever for the industry. But eight years down the line, Deepika could well be in line of fire, something her ex-beau Ranbir Kapoor had to face when he dared to challenge Shah Rukh with his debut movie Saawariya! Well, this time around Deepika and her rumoured boyfriend Ranveer Singh will be challenging the King Khan. We can only wish them all the luck in the world. Still, we think why Sanjay Leela Bhansali should avoid Bajirao Mastani clashing with Shah Rukh Khan's Dilwale.

1. Dilwale brings Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol after the hiatus of five years!

One of Bollywood's most celebrated pair on-screen - Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are reuniting with Rohit Shetty's Dilwale after a gap of five years. They were last seen together in Karan Johar's blockbuster My Name is Khan in 2010. Do we need to tell you the desperation of any movie buff to see this iconic pair on celluloid? 2. Rohit Shetty's love for blockbuster movies

This director may defy the laws of gravity and physics absolutely means nothing to him but when it comes to setting box-office on fire, Rohit Shetty is the man of hour. 3. Bajirao Mastani definitely does not fall under the happily-ever-after category at least during festivities

Knowing the history of Maratha King Bajirao and the trailer of Sanjay Leela Bhansali it is safe to say the movie is not your candy floss, happily lived ever after type of movies. Though Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have showed a lot of promise playing the lead roles and the presence of Priyanka Chopra as Kashibai just adds to the potential but Christmas just does not seem to be right time for tragic deaths and blood-shed wars! 4. Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon - Can the supporting cast get better than this?

Well, these two youngsters never fail to impress you and has an enormous fan following. Varun and Kriti will be sharing screen presence with Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in Shetty's Dilwale. It will be interesting to watch Varun hold his fort in front of Shah Rukh while Kriti adds to the delight of this multi starrer. 5. Ajay Devgn in special appearance? This could well be the trump as well as trounce card!

We all know Ajay Devgn was seen dining with Shah Rukh Khan on the sets of Dilwale and he also shares friendly relations with Rohit Shetty. It will not be surprising if we get to see the superstar Ajay Devgn doing a guest appearance in wifey Kajol's upcoming movie. If this takes place, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, we can only pray for Bajirao Mastani. Once again think over your decision.
