Well history will not repeat itself particularly becasue Karunya was not so likeable and down to earth like Amit . Amit is much more humble and he has fans of his own. Karunya had not managed so much fan following.

Karunya was technically perfect ........Amit's voice is magnetic. For a lay man (fans) voice quality is more important than being technically perfect.

Hence history will not repeat itself.....AMIT Will win. Vote for him please.

That is a very valid point. AMIT is a more likeable personality and his Voice Quality is more massy.
