confused Chemistry & Ashant Angna!

Starting with the biggest USP of his show:
FANTASTIC cast!
Their solid theatre background & this 4 camera shooting does add real feel to theatrics of this otherwise predictable storyline show! The concept is not new, but the situations, their unfolding is what has made this show in my not to miss list!

Pace is slow, but in any show Shaadi tracks are always dragged & as they provide room for any & all kind of drama!
Characters like Kusiya, Sarla, Shantidevi & Raghav do exist! Ashok type husbands & pari, amit type kids for sarla type woman are not uncommon! Ashok is such henpacked because he must have been sarla's first scapegoat! And she never liked her Bhai-bhabhi's loving relationship! Thus keep harrasing Kaushalya!
Raghav, perhaps knows most.. though his mom is great at nautanki. He ignores as he has seen his mom raising them through hardship! Guess, thats the underline of his submissive nature to Shantidevi!

Kaushalya will speak up, but that will come much later in the show!
Nimmi/ bittorani has more of Shantidevi's genes.. that's why she doesn't take it all quietly like Preeti- who has got Kusiya's genes!
Our Hero is on his dad hero.. keep quiet & ignore! But soon he will get his heroine to get him break his avoiding maunvrat!
Though I amliking these days how he manages to shun Amit.

What I am looking forward to:
- How this shaadi golmaal gets resolved/ end !
- How long & how far they'll show mistaken identities. And of course the big reveal!
From the article that stated RIya rides Bullet, I feel Riya will bhagao Shivam on his bullet. With Support of Ashok, mami & his sister. While dadibua tackles sarla & shanti. And Rani swaps Dulhan's in mandap! Kusiya, Raghav & Anupam will be as clueless as ever!

-Before the big Reveal, I would like it if along with raghav & kaushlya's they add some strength in Shivam & Riya's story! not dreams. talking, emails, chats & all!
-looking forward to shanti & buadadi's meeting!
-looking frward to see how Rani manages her shadi & there after sarla & pari!
-looking forward how Riya & Shivan elope. And Riya's 'culture shock' in aShanti sadan!
-looking forward to Raghav's culture shock😆 ..when Riya speaks her mind!
-and of course the Epic shashikala- grand bahoo battle!

Well written post and I totally agree with you, esp on that cast bit! The lineup of the cast was what first attracted me! Barring some of the younger leads, the older cast is phenomenal -- Varun Badola, Krutika Desai, Ananya Khare, Suchita Trivedi -- all extremely talented! But that's also where my disappointment with the show begins -- I feel like all the actors can be utilized so much better, save for Ananya Khare and to an extent Krutika Desai.

To be honest, their love story kinda comes across as fickle. We've seen Riya fan-girling all over Shivam but I feel like we've yet to see the both together in love. Idk.

.. Agree! that's why confused chemistry! Doesn't Shivam want to call Riya & chat after rose aadan pradan?! he is busy, yes but still! new 'love' after all he is in! Riya can agree to sarlas randomest requests, but does she really need to follow?
And why doesn't Anupam ever mentioning damad ka name to anyone? EVer? doesnt he want to talk to him prior to wedding again?
they do need to do some tightening in the script!

i like the cast, the story etc. its entertaining..sometimes drag..but it pulls u in...like the last scene tdy when bhua dadi entered Shivam's house and the recap was hilarious...but i am not liking Raghav's character a bit...someone rightly described him as "cowdung"..after the necklace epi, i feel he is a totally worthless man..all other characters including the negative ones r cool..
