For a long time, I have been pondering on stuff like desire, evil and other stuff! What caught my attention while thinking about season 3 was desire! Seems like all the season is about desire!
Jannat desires two men, Aahil desires Jannat(desires not loves), Shaad desires Jannat and Shashi Kapoor, Saif desires NayiSanam, NayiSanam desires power and various men, Shashi Kapoor desires power and destruction, Razia desires towards a higher power, Shaad2 desires power of terrorism, Khala and Lateef desire money!
And all desire does is destroy things! Love can heal things, but desire can only give you pain!
Jannat has been desiring for Aahil and not feeling, but worships Shaad Aftab Khan and this is where Jannat's characterization fails! If she had been loving Aahil and feeling soulful things the scenario would be different! Physical intimacy is not the point here, her true feelings is the point and it has completely been sidelined!
Aahil- complicated even now! He is desiring Jannat, not loving! Let me explain this! He loves Sanam now and that Sanam is in Jannat, right? So he is craving for Jannat! But, why not Sanam? To be frank, he would have either told the truth to her if he wished for Sanam or take some action to see Sanam, but he is wishing for Jannat! Like Maria said in the AT, it's executed like he is an intruder in Shaad and Jannat relationship!
Shaad, all he desires is you know Jannat, not love, selfish desire is never called love! And so go the other characters!
As Rie said they have ignored the love in them and ignorance of truth gives this result!
None in this season has stable mind! If only it was how they made it stable I would have found it more interesting!
Desire destroys everything of love, makes one evil with the greed and exactly this is where every character fails and is poorly executed to what they have written! They could have shown how this pain of being evil makes them good! Pretty interesting track if they would have played it all good! I would have wished redemption of everyone, leaving desires, being good and spreading love!
