Independent whatevs - Muzaffar got fat wads of cash from Pernia's abbaji to cast his fug wooden daughter in this. The only reason this might be worth watching is the costumes - Meera and Muzaffar do make gorgeous clothes.

That scene with Imran throwing money at Pernia to dance at his wedding totally gave me deja vu to the tv remake of the Pakistani film Anjuman which also starred Imran Abbas and Sara Loren in the lead. Sara made a much better courtesan but I guess she doesn't have a maaldar abbaji to produce movies for her.

Pernia just cant dance. Imran has looked much better. Only good thing about this movie is the clothes.
