Raman shook Ishita to conform her words. She was too tired to open her eyes. He couldn't just believe it or ignore at the same time. As she slipped into unconsciousness he was in a dilemma of what to do. Kissing her forehead not getting a hold about the occurences in their life he walked out to the living room.
"Main Ishita ko lekar Mumbai jaraha hun. She needs some change." He declared determinately.
(I'm going to Mumbai with Ishita)
"Lekin kyun Raman...achanak aise...?" Viraj asked worried which irked Raman a lot.
(But why suddenly?)
"Be in your limit Viraj. Main apni biwi ko le jaraha hun. Usme dakal andas mat karo toh hi acha hoga. You get that." He spitted in fury making the whole family leave their job and looked at an unusually agitated Raman.
(I'm taking my wife with me. You better stay out of it)
"Yeh kaise tareeka hai mehmaan se baat karne ka?" Mr Bhalla roared.
(What's this way to talk to guest?)
"It...is ok uncleji. Voh tension mein hai. Let it be." Viraj tried to control the situation.
(He is tensed)
"Kya tension...hum bhi toh tension mein hai. Kamse kam voh Ishita puttar se mil toh sakta hai. Hum toh kuch nahin kar sakta..." Mrs Bhalla started crying again.
(What tension. We're also in tension. At least he can meet her but we can't do anything)
"Maa please...main Suraj se milne jaaraha hun. I can't postpone it." Raman sighed.
(I'm going to meet Suraj)
"Lekin Suraj...voh Ashok ka bhai hai nah...? Usse kyun?" Mr Bhalla interrogated.
(But Suraj...Ashok's brother? For what?)
"You know that he is...a psychiartist. Last week London se aya hai. Maine kal baat kiya dha. Ab Ishita ko uski zaroorat hai." Raman said while his eyes blured up again.
(He came from London last week. I talked to him yesterday. Ishita need him)
"Tumhara kya matlab hai puttar?" Mr Bhalla touched his shoulder.
(What you mean?)
He hugged him crying out loud saying, "Maltlab...main use kuch nahin pooch sakta papa. Jab use hosh ayenge...tab use bas khushi dena hai...koyi sawal jawab karke aur tension nahin karna chahiye. I need to take good care of her. She is a baby...just a baby papa...! Pata nahin kitna dard hai uski nanhisi mann mein. Mujhe voh sab mithana hai."
(I mean I can't ask her anything. I want to give her all happiness when she wakes up. I don't know how much pain is in her little heart. I want to wipe it off)
"Tikhe puttar...main jaane ki arrangements karta hun." Mr Bhalla patted his back assuringly.
(I'll make the arrangements)
"Lekin...is baat par psychiartist ka kya lena dena?" Viraj asked tensed about the fact that his truth may come out by the interference of Dr Suraj Khanna.
(But what a psychiartist got to do with it?)
Raman gritted his teeth looking at him. "FYI, tujhe isme koyi lena dena nahin hai." He said on top of his voice.
(You don't got anything to do with it)
"Bas Raman...aise nahin bolta." (Enough. Don't talk like that) Mr Bhalla interfered. Looking at Viraj he said in a week voice, "Kisiko nahin pata puttar ki Ishita puttar kitne bade trauma se guzar gaya hai. Uski amma appa ko bhi nahin pata ki uski..."
(No one knows the trauma Ishita went through. Her parents still doesn't know that...)
Before he could complete it Raman interrupted him. "Kuch nahin kahenge usse...nah hi kisi aur se. I just don't want to hear it again. Main bas kuch reasons janna chahta hun. As fast as possible."
(Don't tell him or anyone. I want to know some reasons)
With that he rushed to his room and locked the door behind him. Ishita was a little conscious about her surroundings. She saw him sitting beside her hugging a pillow. His face pale like a vampire. Eyes red like a ghost. Sweat beads ebbing down his forehead as if he is back from a marathone.
He needed her as much as she needed him. She couldn't think of her weak and friable state but get up. He looked at her feeling her movement and tried to make her sleep by holding her arms. Wounding her arms around his neck she forced him to lay over her. He wriggled like a nasty kid not wanting to sleep, but she stroked his back to calm him down. After a good ten minutes she felt him breathing in sync to hers but her chest soaked up in his tears.
"Raman...sab tikh hoga" She whispered against his hair.
(Everything will be fine)
"Hmm...tum mere saath Mumbai aogi kya?" (Will you come to Mumbai with me?) He asked knowing well that she will refuse to come. But for his surprise, she agreed though her body got stiffened by the name of the place. He broke the embrace and looked at her. Cupping her face he said sweet nothings to make her relax.
"Look at me baby...shush...don't be like this...just look at me...I love you...no matter what...but this time...I terribly need your support...to sort everything out...just be with me..." Saying so he rained kisses on her face.
"I...love you...Ram-man...I'll be always with you. What you want me to do now?" She asked him in between returning the kisses.
"I want you to meet...Dr Suraj Khanna..." He said fearing if she gets the wrong meaning.
"You think...it will sort everything out...a psychiartist?" She asked confused.
"Yes...I believe..." He said snuggling his head in the crook of her neck.
"Hum jayenge Raman..." She promised kissing his ear.
(We'll go)
MUMBAIIshita was on cloud nine meeting Mr and Mrs Khurana albeit a little sad for missing Parmeet and Shagun. Their presence made her reminisce the disasters but she skillfully fought back the tears. Raman guarded her all the while she walked around the house and finally ending up in the garden.
"Pata hai Raman...I miss him as much as I miss Shagun. Both were so special..." She said looking at Parmeet's tomb.
Raman encircled a hand around her waist from sideways and pulled her to him. She kept her head on his shoulder while a lone tear escaped her eyes which he wiped off.
"Hum doctor ko dekhne ko kab jayenge Raman...?" She asked a little scared.
(When will we go to meet the doc?)
"Don't worry baby...Suraj knows everything nah...So what's the problem?" He asked caressing her hair with his free hand.
"Pata nahin Raman...I'm scared...Ap bas mere saath hi rehna..." She hugged him tight. He smiled meekly kissing her hair.
(Stay with me)
KHANNA'SSuraj and Ashok welcomed the couple happily. Ashok's wife was not home but the kids were chirped around Ishita. She played with the kids while the gentlemen sat sipping tea to discuss the problem at hand.
"You know what Raman...I know everything about Ishita. Maine hi use two weeks counciling kiya dha...Ashok ke kehane se. But then...I couldn't continue because of her parents. We both tried to convince her parents about her psychological condition...But they were too conservative to consult a psycheartist." Suraj sighed.
(I did council her for two weeks)
"Haan Raman...we tried..." Ashok supported Suraj.
"Is it too late...?" Raman asked fearing the reply.
Ashok touched his shoulder while Suraj continued, "No Raman it's never late. In fact it's good that you decided to proceed the treatment. Ab Ishita bhi willing hai toh...I'm sure...everything will be fine."
(Now when Ishita is willing__)
"Yes Raman...she'll be perfect. Just give her some time." Ashok patted his shoulder while Raman looked at Ishita who was playing with the kids afar oblivious of everything.
"I don't know why Viraj...! But I want a conformation. Major Khurana se main baat kiya. Bus ab sab kuch Ishita ke hath mein hai." Raman whispered.
(I talked to Major Khurana. Now everything is in Ishita's hands)
"She is stronger than you Raman..." Suraj mocked him seriously.
"I know...But still...she is a baby..."Raman sighed.

"Haan...sachi...! But one thing I must say, tum sherni ho yaar! Tujhe dar hi nahi lagti!" Ishita patted Shagun's shoulder.

"Haan so to hai." Shagun beamed in pride.
(Right)
Shagun kept on trying different numbers while a van stopped next to them.
Ishita: "Lagta hai kuch gadbad hai..."
(I think some problem)
"Jab tak Shagun tere saath hai...tujhe kuch nahi hoga. Tum meri hone vali bhabhi jo hai" Shagun assured her.
(Until Shagun is with you, nothing will happen to you. You're my to be sister-in-law)
