Hi guys!
Thanks a lot for your amazing feedback on the previous update 😊 Here goes the 7th chapter! It's gonna be a short update! Will give you all a lengthy one in the weekend 😉
Inseparable hearts
Chapter 7
The sun shined in the sky fading away the rainy weather which lasted for nearly 8 hours. The environment was covered with a milky white mist. The window glasses in Rishabh's SUV were fogged. The two love birds were sleeping on each other's arms after a tiresome love making session last night. Madhu was snuggled up to Rishabh. Rishabh has wrapped his arms around her protectively.
Rishabh opened his eyes slowly. A smile crept on his face after seeing the sleeping beauty beside him. She looked so cute while sleeping. He caressed her face gently. Madhu too opened her eyes yawning. Both smiled at each other. A silence crept between them, a silence of happiness with a ray of hope for a beautiful future.
'You look beautiful' Rishabh started caressing her hair. Madhu was blushing. She covered her bare upper body with her hands. Rishabh planted a kiss on her forehead.
'Rishu... you will be with me na? forever?' Madhu questioned her like a cute little kid. She held his hand tightly. She placed a gentle kiss on his hand.
'I promise Madhu. I will be with you. Nobody could separate us.' Rishabh cupped her face. They shared an intense eye lock. Rishabh suddenly took off this hands off from Madhu. Madhu was confused. Rishabh's facial expressions changed suddenly.
'Rishu? why? are you okay?' Madhu inquired.
'Madhu.. Madhu I'm sorry.' Madhu was confused with his sudden apology.
'Sorry? about what Rishu?'
'Yeah I'm sorry. Madhu, we shouldn't have done this.' Rishabh was guilty of what happened last night.
'Rishabh, are you talking about..um.. last night?'
'Hmm.'
'Madhu. I feel like I have committed something major, which we should have waited till our marriage. I'm feeling guilty.'
'Rishu..' Madhu cupped his face. 'You didn't force yourself on me. Both of us know it happened with our consent.'
'But Madhu...'
'No Rishu..! please. Don't worry about it. I know you will always be with me. We can win this battle.'
'Madhu.. but I feel like I have indirectly encouraged you to exceed your freedom. We have broke your Nani's trust.' Rishabh was feeling guilty. That words hit Madhu deeply. She realized that she has broke her grandmother's trust. A tear dropped from her eyes.
'Madhu...' Rishabh looked at her helplessly. Madhu wiped her tears quickly.
'Madhu.. we should have controlled ourselves.'
'Rishu.. I understand what you are trying to say. We may have done something we have shouldn't done so soon, but please stop thinking like we have committed a crime.'Madhu tried to console him.
'Madhu getting married can be done anytime. Even today. Love may be enough for a marriage according to some, but it is not practical. Before anything, we should be stable in our careers. Without it we cannot lead a comfortable life. I want to treat you as a queen, Madhu.'
'Rishu.. marriage is just a legalized relationship.'
'No Madhu. You are wrong. It's far more complicated. Marriage is sacred. Most importantly it is the foundation of a family. You haven't associated with the society as much as me. You will be mature with your perspectives with the time.'
'Madhu, we will have to wait for our marriage till I establish as a good architect. I will have to work hard to earn money. I want to give you a comfortable life. We have to think about our future & plan it.'
'I know Rishabh. I can understand. I will wait for you no matter how much time it takes. But I am afraid of my family. What if they tries to get me married for someone else? You know that my father hates you. He won't let us unite.'
'Madhu.. Don't lose faith. By the way I've got to tell you something important.'
'What?'
'I won't marry you without your parents' consent.'
'Huh?'
'Yes Madhu. We need their blessings. How can I take you with me breaking your mom's & dad's hearts?'
'Rishu! you know about my dad. He..'
'Madhu!' He interrupted.
'Madhu I know, your dad is strict. His ego is above everything. It may be a challenge, but let's do it. We can change his nature. We will try to change his negative attitude towards us.'
'But how?'
'Madhu, Nothing is impossible. I will take you to my home as a beautiful bride with the blessings of your parents.' 'I promise you! I will do it.' Rishabh placed a gentle kiss on her hand. Madhu's eyes were filled with happy tears.
'I love you Rishu!' She hugged her tightly.
'I love you too.' He hugged her back.
Finally they got into their clothes, which were still wet. They didn't have any other dry outfit to wear. Finally Rishabh could contact the break down assistance service & they reached the place within an hour. Rishabh SUV was taken to repair. He hired a taxi to drop Madhu to Neha's place.
In the other hand, Neha was hell worried about Madhu. She chided them for not returning that night. Then they explained what happened & Neha reassured that she would keep it as a secret. She told them how much she & her family was worried & they were about to inform about the police. Neha teased & passed hints to them for being alone with each other for a whole night.
Days passed & Rishabh's departure date came nearer. He was about to go to Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. He was enrolled in University of Queensland to follow up his masters. Rishabh came to meet Madhu 2 days prior to his departure. He was going to be at Australia for 3 years to complete his studies.
Rishabh's departure was painful for Madhu. She couldn't bear it up. She cried her heart out hugging him. She started feeling sad & lonely as Rishabh was the only person who could make Madhu genuinely happy. He pacified her that he will be coming back exactly in another 6 months, during his first vacation. But the 6 months were like 6 years for Madhu.
Madhu's grandmother blessed Rishabh & wished him all the best for his studies. She assured that she will look after Madhu well. Neha too promised Rishabh that she will be with Madhu always & she asked him not to worry about her. Rishabh was happy & relieved that Madhu has two guardians like Nani & Neha. There was nothing to fear.
It's been a month since Rishabh has left. Madhu missed him every day, every hour, every minute & every second. She couldn't spend a single minute without thinking about Rishabh. Rishabh used to call Madhu whenever he gets free time. He hardly got freedom as he was stuck with so many work. Madhu was understanding. Though she felt like complaining, she knew that Rishabh was working hard in order to make a better future for them.
Madhu wasn't feeling well for the past 4 days. She was feeling nauseatic & dizzy. She got severe headaches time to time. She assumed that it might be a result of her upcoming exams. The heavy work load at the university made her stressed out. She felt like giving it up so many times but every time she remembered the importance of completing her studies successfully.
One morning she was getting ready to go to the university & suddenly she got that nauseatic sensation which resulted her to vomit. Her grandmother was worried about her. Madhu felt dizzy & giddy. She started feeling sweaty. Suddenly her vision was blurred. She was fainted but her grandmother managed to hold her on time. She was hell worried about her condition. The neighbouring lady came up for help. They informed the doctor. Neha was informed too.
Finally the doctor arrived & checked her. Madhu gained her consciousness.
'Madhu. How are you feeling now?' The doctor inquired.
'Uh... my head is paining.' Madhu started massaging her head.
'For how long have you started feeling nauseatic & dizzy?'
'Umm.. quite sometime. May be 4 or 5 days before. I thought it might be a food poising or something in the first day. But when it continued I assumed it that may be because I've been stressed out with my exams.'
'Madhu! how many times I'd warned you to get medicine & go to a doctor!' Her grandmother chided her worriedly.
'Is there a particular time of the day you get these pains & nauseatic feeling?' The doctor questioned.
'Umm.. in mornings most of the time.' Madhu's answer created a little fear in her grandmother's heart but she was sure about her granddaughter that she has not done anything wrong. She scolded her self for thinking like that for even a second.
Then the doctor inquired about the last time she got her menses. It feared Madhu a little as she got her last menses more than 2 months back. She flash backed about the romantic night she spent with with Rishabh a one & a half months back. She remembered it happened without any protection. She prayed that nothing wrong would not have happened. A pregnancy was something bigger for her to handle alone as she was still a fragile 18 year old girl.
Then the doctor prescribed her to do a blood test just to assure that there is no problem. She asked her not to worry & told her that it must be for her stressful life, menses can be delayed with the imbalance of the hormones.
The doctor once again informed Madhu & her grandmother to come & meet her privately as she had noticed something in her hormone levels. She knew that Madhu was a student & there were rare chances of predicting a pregnancy. She repeated the blood test but the results were the same. Then she got a urine report of Madhu & the result was unbelievable.
'Mrs. Verma. I have gone through the results of Madhu's reports. I repeated all of them because I got an uncertain result in the first time. But once again the same results. I can assure you that these tests are done under high technology & results are accurate. I was quite shocked to see the results.'
Madhu was trembling with fear. She kept flash backing about the consummation incident again. Her grandmother was worried about her.
'I don't know how would this affect Madhu & your family. But...'
'Why doctor? is it something serious? any kind of an illness?' Her grandmother spoke in a worried tone. Madhu's heart was beating fast.
'I am bound to reveal the true results of the reports. I really don't if this would be a good news or a bad news for you. But let me reveal.'
'According to these reports, those have become pregnancy positive. You are pregnant Madhu.'
The doctors words echoed in Madhu's ears.Her doubt has become a reality. A part of her Rishabh is growing inside her. Her grandmother was numb. She couldn't believe what the doctor uttered few seconds back.Her grandmother was unconscious after hearing the news.
Back to the present.
Pari was thoroughly enjoying her school life. She used to tell Rishabh how her day was spent with her new teacher Madhu, who has become the her best teacher. Madhu was no less than Pari's former class teacher Mrs. Smith. She used to treat Pari like a mother, but unfortunately she was unaware of the fact that Pari was her long lost biological daughter.
Rishabh was busy with his work as an Architect. His company got many offers. Finally he was chosen to work as an Architect of an indoor stadium project in Canberra. He had to go away for a couple of weeks to assist the work going on. He was thinking how to convince about this to his daughter specially her birthday was around the corner & he knew that his little princess won't forgive him if won't stay at home.
'Good night mommy!' Little Pari sent a flying kiss towards the wind chime. She has concluded her talk with mommy for the day. Rishabh came & sat beside her.
'Done with home work?'
'Yeah daddy!'
'Daddy! you know what? today we had a spelling test & I got the highest mark in the class! I got all correct.' She spoke delightedly.
'Wow! I'm so proud of you baby!' He placed a gentle kiss on her forehead.
'Pari. Daddy got something important to tell you. But please promise me first that you won't get angry with me?'
'Pinky promise! why would I get angry with you daddy?' She giggled.
'Baby..' He caressed her tiny face. He was thinking how to inform his little princess that he has to go outstation tomorrow for a couple of weeks. He lost his courage after seeing her innocent face.
'Yeah daddy? tell me! what is it?' Pari was waiting for a reply.
'Pari you know daddy is so busy these days. And you know that daddy does all these things for you, to keep you happy.'
'So?'
'So daddy has to go Canberra for a couple of weeks for work.'
'So you are going to tell you that you won't be at home for another couple of weeks?'Pari asked in a dull tone.
'Yeah baby!'
'And.. and also you won't be there for my birthday?' Pari questioned him in a sad tone. Her face has gone red already.
'I'm sorry baby!' Rishabh replied her.
'Daddy! you promised me!!' Pari bawled out.
'I'm sorry princess. Daddy has to go! it is something urgent.'
'I hate you daddy!' Pari buried her face under a pillow and started crying her heart out.
'Baby please!' Rishabh tried to console her.
'You can punish me when I come back. But sweety, please try to understand.'
Pari didn't reply him. She kept weeping. The poor little innocent soul's hopes were crushed. She wanted to spend the whole day with her daddy on her birthday. Her birthday was coming up in another 10 days.
Rishabh looked at the wind chime. It was dancing with the wind, producing a melodious sound.
'Madhu...' 'Please give me a solution. I can't see our princess sad, but I cannot pull down this project either as it is already finalized. Please help me.' Rishabh sought help from her soulmate. He was helpless. Pari was crying & he tried his best to pacify her but he failed. Pari refused to talk to him.

Pre cap - 'Happy birthday Pari' 'I miss you so much baby! if you were alive, you would be 6 years today. Mommy misses you so much. I hope daddy misses you too. But daddy has already left your mommy' Madhu hugged the baby sweater close to her. Tears started rolling down her eyes.
