Aham Sharma hails from Salimpur, a small village in Bihar. After schooling in hometown, he moved to Indore to pursue an Engineering degree. Later he got employee in a software development MNC in Mumbai. But destiny had it different way which took him to acting courses.

From his own words" I realized that I won't be happy doing a 9 -5 job.Some how I wanted to do something else in life and not just doing a normal job"

He realized his passion for acting in collage days and he started working hard on it simultaneously during his job in Mumbai.

Soon The Indian Telly dream factory opened its doors for this hyperactive handsome hardworking guy endued with multiple talents and confidence.He got his first opportunity as Rehan in Chand ke paar chalo to mark his presence in telly industry.After a couple of movies and a few television shows, he got a great chance of playing the magnificent character Karna in Mahabharat. He robbed The hearts of millions by his phenomenal portrayal of Karna.Millions of young hearts has become his desperate queens!! He justified the role perfectly and marked his foot strong and permanent in this Television world.

It was during the shooting of the film Karle Pyaar Karle, Aham was approached to play Karna. Though already trained in martial arts, he had to bulk up for the character. Besides, he read Mahabharata (Prakash Menon), Jaya (Devdutt Pattnaik), Mrityunjaya (Shivaji Sawant), Rashmirathi (RK Dinakar) and Mahabharata (Gorakhpur Gita press edition) to get an insight of Karna's character and thoughts. His favourite sequence of Karna is the arena scene and the most memorable one is Jarasandha vadha.

Now we got to see him in the lead role of Dosti..yariyaan ..manmarzian as ArjunMehra.Aham wished to do something different after a mythological show.He wished to play contemporary roles..so among so many offers he found this one is most challenging.

coming to his general interests Aham is a huge lover of all movies of Daniel Day Lewis, Tom Hanks and Leonardo Dicaprio.

His favourite actors are Amitabh Bachchan, Pankaj Kapoor, Irrfan Khan, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Shabana Azmi, Kajol, Tabu and Konkana Sen.

Sonu Nigam is his favourite singer and Aur Ho from Rockstas is his favourite song.

The books influenced him the most most are Rashmirathi and Mrityunjaya, about which he said 'read it, live it, relate to it'.

Besides Badminton, his favourite sports are Cricket and Football.

His favourite and latest hobby is horse riding which he learned while shooting for Mahabharat.

Yeh Jo mohobbat hai as Zorowar

This is a dramatic love story released on 3rd aug 2012.Yeh Jo Mohabbat Hai is a story of two young people who are caught between love for each other and the generations old enmity between their respective Rajput families.

AhamSharma played a cameo role Zorowar an angry young son of the rajput family

Blue oranges As Kevin

This film is a crime suspense thriller released at 2009. Aham sharma played the key role as Kevin Trassova the ex lover of the female lead and later plays important role in releasing the knots in the detective story.

Karle pyaar karle as Jass

This is a romantic movie released at 2014. Aham sharma played an anti hero role here..He is a rich and rough guy Jass in this movie.

Arunachal 1962

This is a period film based on the Indo-china war.The shooting is over and the film is yet to release.It's a film that's set in the time period of Indo-China war but explores beyond the battle. A kind of a mystery, very real and falls in the world cinema genre.

Rehan in Chand ke paar chalo:

This is a daily soap aired on NDTV imagine at 2008.

Aham Sharma was playing the role of Rehan. Rehan is a young boy from Lucknow and is very much filled with attitude.Rehan's mother sent him to a big town hastily as soon as his father died.Rehan pursued and became a successful man.But he was very much depressed of being thrown out in this vast world by his own mother.So,he came back to Lucknow to meet again with his beloved Dadi,his fun-loving childhood friends and his true love Sana. He had many troubles on his way of this.But he conquered them all and married Sana.Then,the two together lived happily.

Aham's quote on this show: I am from Bihar but have stayed away from my family for a long time so I can relate to Rehan. Every character in this show is simple and viewers can relate to them easily.

Nirbhay in Bairy Piya

This is a daily soap aired on colors Tv 2010

Aham played a character named Nirbhay Pundir in Bairi Piya. He is the shown as an ideal son. He is the son of a Thakur named Viraat Pundir. The stroy revolves around a long-lasting family drama. And then comes Nirbhay's wife- Surbhi. Surbhi has a negative shade in her chacter.

Aham's quote on this show: I will play the dutiful son of the house. It's a very soft and sweet character. Viewers will enjoy my act.

Dr.ajay /Vidyut in Hum ne li hai -shapath

Aham played a negative role in this serial which aired on 25th may 2013.

Aham was playing a vigilante scientist named Dr Ajay in Shapath. In the episode, he and one of his colleagues were confronted by traitors, who demanded that they give up a secret formula to an enemy country. They refused, and Dr Ajay's colleague got killed. Dr Ajay blew up the formula, and killed the assailants as well. However, from that point, he became a vigilante and that got him in the cross-hairs of the Shapath police team. He abducted one of the businessmen that he had marked for revenge, but his girlfriend joined the police and managed to distract him from there, and feigned being injured. Dr Ajay finally had a confrontation w/ Inspector Abhigyan, which resulted in him being blown up.

Although one would have thought he died, Dr Ajay returned in a couple of future episodes. In one, he was one of 4 supernatural ex cons the cops hired to confront another group of ex cons. In another, which featured a living car gone berserk, he was hired by the Shapath team to catch up w/ the car & maneuver it, but failed: the car threw him out & tried to kill him. Ultimately, that car was destroyed by hosing it w/ acid.

Kushal in Fear files:

This is a shot series about three friends.Aham played a dashing boy named Kushal in Fear Files.The story revolves around three friends and a love triangle.The two girls loved Kushal but Kushal ended up marrying the first girl,Neeta because fo her true love.And the other girl,full of jealousy started doing black magic on Neeta.So,the story revolves around some paranormal things happening all around. It was fascinating!

Aham's quote on this show: Yes, am doing the show and the role am playing is really nice. Also, I would like to add that horror genre is something that always attracts everyone and Fear Files is doing an amazing job.

Anil in Aahat

This is an Indian horror series aired on sony tv and has many seasons.Aham Sharma played as Anil in one of the episode in this horror series.

Rai in CID:

This is an Indian detective series aired on Sony tv and has many seasons.Aham played a negative role named Rai in a single episode in this detective series.

Shravan in Choti si zindagi

This is a daily soap based on two sisters aired on zee tv (2011)

Aham was playing Shravan in Chhoti Si Zindagi. The show revolves around two sisters-Isha and Ira. He enters when he saves the ring and Ira from the robber who Ira hired to steal Isha's engagement ring that Samarth gives her.Shravan loves Isha but hearing the engagement news, he gets depressed. And so,the story moves on. Isha marries Samarth and Shravan gets married with Ira.And the most funniest thing I seen in the show was Aham in mustaches.

Aham's quote on this show: Well! I am very much excited for this show. I hope viewers will like my act as they loved it earlier. I will be playing a bit negative role in the show but I am not like that in reality.

Angadh in Aasman se aage :

This is a story of two brothers in a reality show aired on 2012

Aham was playing a character named Angad in Aasman Se Aage. Angad is a male dancer. Show starts following the journey of Meenakshi and some other participants - Karishma (a cut-throat competitor who is ready to do anything to win), the brothers Angad (who is good-natured & extremely supportive of his brother) & Akshat (who always needs to win at any cost, but suffers terrible performance anxiety), Sameer (a young desperate school kid whose parents want him to become a doctor rather than a dancer). It is for a dance competition held by charismatic & unscrupulous producer of the show, DC. Angad is the younger bro of Akshat. For TRP,DC makes Karishma kiss Akshat, telling them its important for them to be seen together in order to be seen as stars. This pisses off Anagd because he loves Karishma who challenges Akshat to a dance-off and defeats him. However, Angad is disgusted by the show and leaves ASA.

Aham's quote on this show: Feeling great!!!! Like all of us, I am equally excited about the show and my character Angad. Ever since, I was explained about my character, I had no doubts about it. In fact I am very happy with it!!! I am very sure that our show Aasman Se Aage will do extremely well. I wish all the best to everyone who is associated with ASA (Aasman Se Aage)

Karna in Mahabharat

This is a mythological show aired on september 2013 on starplus.

Aham played one of the central character Karna.Karna is born in the Kshatriya class to Lord Surya & Kunti who floats him away as she was unmarried. He is brought up as a charioteer's son and joins Duryodhan the rival of Pandavas - Karna's real brothers.Later he was glorified by krishna and he sacrifice himself in kurukshetra war.

Aham's Quote for this show: I got a call when I was doing a film. I got excited at being offered Karna and met up with the makers, I auditioned and went through look tests and ended up being selected. I was the last character to be finalised. I like the character of Karna. The role has many shades and characteristics. He never gave up despite all odds and rejections.I feel lucky and fortunate that I got to play Karna.If you ask any actor they are fascinated by karna.He has got such an emotional depth.

ArjunMehra in Dosti..Yaariyan..Manmarzian

This is the latest show which is going on in starplus.This is basically a love hate story.Aham is playing a mysterious young man role as ArjunMehra.The actor says that he is playing a powerful role with lot of surprises and multi dimensional which would be different in televisions and he says that the show is also different and more realistic.He says this show would entertain all sorts of people from all age groups.He also gained weight for this new show.

Aham's quote on the show: Arjun is a different role.It's pretty rare in Indian televisions where you got to play a character with many layers.A lot is going to come later on.as far whatever shown is very mysterious and intriguing.There is a lot of layers around this guy.

2014, Mahabharat started in Star Plus. I was not at all interested.Yes, I saw promo between News & all various channel, as Star did a big promotion for Mahabharat.Saw the glimpse of him, but nothing happened. 😕

My mother started watching the show.One Day, I watched the show By Chance & coincidentally that day Grown-Up Karna Entered in Mahabharat.😛His Kundal, His Kavach, I always Love Karna, He is my favourite character from Mahabharat.But when I saw his eyes,😊 something happened, a powerful BGM was playing.Ohh, just 5 mins, & Love at first sight, I fell in Love with Star Karna.😳

gave.Why he maintained such low profile??? I felt that he is a distant Star.⭐️ Mysterious in real life also.Not like others.Then, I saw his previous work, but not much impressed. one thing, which I liked that he is a very composed Actor.He calmly do his Parts.

But,then I don't know that I actually fell in Love.Next day, I watched Mahabharat.My Mom surprised, that I am watching a Hindi show & Karna got the Curse from his Guru.😭I saw his Eyes😳.Something is different in his Eyes.Its Captivating & the sadness in that eyes😭.My mind is saying He is not Real Karna, he is an Actor.But, my heart is saying, No He is the Karna, My Evergreen Karna whom I loved from my childhood.⭐️👏Then, Aham as Arjun.😳Arjun is a different character.He played Angad in ASA, completely positive character.He played Karna, The HERO, & now, he is playing Arjun in MMZ.These proves his Versatility.👏

& then, I shared that recent development with one of my friend. "arre yaar, I am loving the Karna in Star Plus Mahabharat.😳That New-Comer Rocked!!! 👏"Ha ha ha ha, New Comer???? He is not a new comer.He is Aham Sharma.😳He debuted in 2008. What???? 😲But I don't know him.😲Then I thought, How could I??? I am not watching Dramas, so, I left track. But nice name, Aham & quite a unique name also.😳I asked my friend.Aham??? mean??? My Friend said, Aham mean important,😛 I think.Aham also mean pride naa???😳

Then, I started searching about him.But So, small info about him, so less interview heHe can act both Negative & positive character.His looks also suits both kind of roles.As Arjun, he successfully made jodi with two different character.People love him with both the girls in MMZ.People cursing this Arjun, this proves that He is a powerful Actor.He is handsome, but something is different in him, which is very intoxicating,😳

It was the month of December when I was waiting for my fav show to start...when I saw a person amongst a grup of ppl who were plotting against someone. 😲

He looked exceptional amongst the people whom he was standing with. "But what is he doing here in this show?'' was the process going on in my mind...😕

But soon I got busy o'er random things thereby ceased my thought process.

Next day , I was flipping o'er channels when I saw him again...the show was on air . "MAHABHARAT"...something that i never thot I wud watch...

I stopped flipping the channels ...He was standing in a corner at the entrance of a huge palace...weeping . He touched the feet of a lady when his tears fell on his shoes...

It might not be a gruelling task for u to know whom I am talking about , none other than Karna aka AHAM SHARMA !

Soon , I started watching the show. It was the character who linked me wid the show but soon my love shifted towards the real life actor himself . A rare and precious gem who had been unknown uptil then.

It feels great to see such a phenomenal actor and a down to earth person getting wt he deserved all these year's .👏

I wish Allah (swt) grants him much more success and fame in life ! ⭐️
