Why the silence?

I have a mystery for all Sherlock Holmes Fans. It is the mystery of the disappearing serial.

Remember a time in late 2013, early 2014 when Jodha Akbar was the only serial in the ZEE stable that gave competition to STAR. Even later after Kumkum established itself it was right there in the top 2, and there was no third place. Now, as it exits JA still gets the bronze medal for third place.

Serials end, so nothing surprising there, the makers of JA wanted the serial to end, fine, but why all this secrecy and since when did India Forums become such a leaders in news scoops. Not a peep anywhere else and India Forums always gets the news.

Why no interviews of the leads other than their prepared statements, why no news items anywhere else in the media, why is ZEE on such a silent mode. I would have thought they would have given their once top rated serial a grand send off, but it is as if ZEE wants the serial to end in a hurry and then silently disappear.

All this provides ammunition to conspiracy theorist that the reason for the ending of the serial is not ratings or exhaustion of ideas, but something else.

yeah i feel the same donjas there is a political reason else why they off air a internationally popular serial

I really like ypur logical and honest posts. Tro can not be the reason of ja going offair, because then zee shows like doli armano ki satrangi sasural tumhi ho bandhu would have gone offair much earlier. Nor can the lack of plot be the reason, akbar jodha's life has many incidents, and theres no limit of fictional tracks and creative thinking.They could have easily shown sujamal track, a track like pukar film with jodha accidentally hitting a man while hunting and jalal announcing his own death to do justice with the dead man's wife, and so so on.The reason ja is going offair is dirty politics,and also zee's loathable biasedness

But why should politics matter now? The serial has had a successful run of 2 years, all those who wanted to see it have already seen it, so even if it is political pressure what purpose does it serve now?

The cat is already out of the bag as they say. A real mystery here.

dont know what is the reason behind it
but if there is a political reason then zee is insane ..😡when KS protested against JA they dint care then why now
