CID 4 July 2015 WU: Hotel Decent

Night scene. Thunderstorm and heavy rain. Signboard of Hotel Decent'. A man is seen approaching the motel. In a room, a girl moves to sleep. Suddenly, she hears some noise and starts to inspect for the presence of an intruder with a candle in her hand, asking for Soniya.' She finds the door open but sees nobody. Perplexed, she closes the door and retreats, only to see the silhouette of a man in front of a window with a knife in his hand. She screams and the candle drops.
Scene cuts to the reception of the motel where two couples are complaining about the condition of the motel rooms. Senior Inspector Daya enters and asks for a room and mechanic as his car has stopped. The couples want to leave the motel even when the next motel is about 25 km away, but another man enters and informs tem that it is futile as the bridge is broken and a tree has fallen on the other way.
Daya sir is seen informing Abhijeet sir about the situation. Just as the call ends, he hears the scream of a girl and rushes towards the sound. He finds the girl (named Anjali) dead and two men and a lady in her room. They tell him that she did not open the door for a long time, so they entered through the back door. The manager and the others from the reception rush him and Daya sir informs them that a murder has taken place.
Ignoring the questions of others, Daya sir takes photos and searches the room. He tells that she was killed with a knife and all guests of the motel are suspects. He says that he has to search all their rooms and when one guest (the last entry) protests, he declares that he is Inspector Daya from CID (Sir ji apni hi rank bhul gaye yaar! Had hai!! Also, no showing of badge? 👎🏼) He collects the room keys from everyone, except for one guest whose keys seem to have fallen, so he asks for duplicate keys. He instructs all guests to stay in one room and asks them to give their details.
Daya sir informs Abhi sir about the murder and asks him to investigate about the guests using their details sent via sms. Meanwhile, the guests begin fighting among themselves. They all want to leave. Daya asks the man on the reception about the keys missing from his counter, but he says he is unaware. Identity cards of the guests are also stolen. Daya wants to take photographs of the guests but can't send the as there is no network. Suddenly, he spots a car leaving and tries to stop them unsuccessfully. The other guests come running and tell that Soniya and Sanjay have escaped. (Was it just me or did you guys find that Soniya creepy too? 🤢) Daya sir warns them and takes the car of one of the guests to chase the, but cannot find them. He tries to call Abhijeet but no network. Suddenly, the brake fails and he crashes.(Oh no! 😲)
One of the guests (Raj) goes to take a hockey stick from the reception to serve as a weapon for their protection. Another guest (last entry) goes to his room for his car keys as he wants to change his lenses. (Seriously, this man is a dramebazz! Huh! 😒) After some time, a noise comes and two guests go to investigate.
Meanwhile, Raj cannot find the hockey stick. Suddenly, light goes and he investigates with a lantern. He enters a small room and suddenly an image of a man is seen and vanishes. He finds the hockey stick and turns, only to stare wide- eyed as he is shot!
Daya sir returns injured and the scared reception man crashes into him and shows him Raj's body. He asks for the alibi of the guests. Suddenly, a lady's calls for help are heard. Soniya and Siddarth re-enter bloodied and tell that their car crashed due to brake failure. Siddarth is unconscious.
Daya sir calls Abhijeet sir from motel landline and tells him about the second murder and the injured man and asks him to come. (Ek baat bataiye sir, ek taraf to aap bol rahe ho ki dono raaste band hai, aur doosri taraf keh rahe ho ki aa jao. Kaise? Udkar? 😡) He receives the background details of the guest and the motel owner has a criminal record. On thinking, Daya realizes that Rakesh, who is supposed to be an airforce pilot wears contacts, which is not possible. He picks his lock and searches his car to find a dead body of the real Rakesh in the bonnet. Someone (the fake rakesh) prepares to shoot him from behind.
Meanwhile, Abhijeet sir, Nikhil, Purvi and Sachin are stuck on the way and cannot contact Daya. They reach in the morning to find utter silence and nobody around. They search the place and find every other male guests' and motel owner's bodies except fake Rakesh. Purvi follows blood stains up the roof to find the two terrified and injured female guests Soniya and Aditi. They tell that (fake) Rakesh ran towards the jungle.
Scene cuts to injured (fake) Rakesh trying to run away in the jungle. CID team searches for him. On interrogating, he points towards the girls and says that Daya sir is dead and that he was trying to save him. They find him injured but alive. He points out that the murderer is Aditi.
She tells that she and her husband Raj came to the motel to find stolen money that one of his ex-fellow prisoners had hidden there. They planned to kill one guest so that others flee. She killed Raj to get blame off himself and get the entire money. Fake Rakesh, whose real name was Akash, had borrowed lot of money but failed to repay. One of his lenders hired Rakesh, who was also a private detective, to search for him. They had an altercation and Rakesh accidentally died. Due to bad roads, he got stuck there.
When Daya sir saw Akash aimimg at him, he ran to the jungle followed by Daya sir. Aditi met him there and faked that Raj (Akash) was going to kill her and finally shot him. Then, she killed everybody else. She was going to kill Soniya too, but till then Purvi arrived, so she faked being scared. Abhijeet Sir delivers the Phansi dialogue.
