Deccan Chronicle :Veera to go off air next month

Veera had been doing well despite being shifted to the 5 pm slot, but we now hear that the show is finally set to bid adieu to its viewers. A reliable source informs, "Veera will end in the first week of August and will be replaced by a new show called Mohi, that begins August 10 onwards. While the show has been doing reasonably well, considering its time slot, there were many other factors that lead to the makers deciding to end it. One of which is the war between leading ladies Digangana Suryavanshi and Farnaz Shetty " that was getting difficult for everyone to handle."

Deepika Singh who plays the role of IPS officer Sandhya Rathi in Star Plus' popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum will have a makeover of sorts on the show. To look as realistic as possible in the role of an IPS officer, Deepika hadn't gotten her nails done for the past four years. She says "Not being able to get a French manicure in all these years was just one of the small things I did from my side to play Sandhya Rathi. But now with the change in track, I have to look a little more feminine and hence I just had to go and pamper myself to a spa appointment."
