Jhalak 8: My point of view

I really really enjoyed watching Shahid as a host. I was quite bored with Madhuri and Remo in the previous seasons. Thank god this year they come up with Shahid. Karan and Shahid did a fab job. Manish was fine as a host but somehow I think Shahid steal the show from him. Lauren was not good as the judge but I want to give her benefit of doubt for few more episodes. Ganesh H was also not impressive in the first episode but let's see in the future episodes.

I also liked the contestants participated this year Radhika, Mohit, Shamita, Faisal Khan, Kavita Kaushik, Scarlett were the best. Rest of them are also fine. I did not like Shubhreet only because of the fact that her performance was overrated. I mean she dances well as per her condition but it would be a treat to watch if she would have worn Prosthetics by this time.

If you remember actress Sudha Chandran, she doesn't have a leg but she dances so well and people forget that she doesn't have a leg. This is the reason because she doesn't show the world that she is disable by wearing that attitude, dedication and prosthetic leg. In Shubhreet case she has the dedication but I felt like she kept on reminding the audience that she has no leg so give her sympathy votes. When she came in "India's got talent", I supported her but not anymore because I feel that now she is using her disability for earning sympathy votes and money. It is not fair for other talented contestants to get fewer score just because of the fact that they are not disable.

i feel the same too...i really dislike the way they put forward their disability infront of others...

well i think , she is here to dance. But judges are making big hoopla out of it. and doing rona dhona. which is OTT and totally unnecessary.

they are the ones who need to grasp the fact that she isnt new to dance and she can stun them in future performances.

as for her prosthetic leg, its up to her personal choice. 😊
