HENCE DECISION TO WRAP UP

I AM SAD THAT SO MANY GOOD THINGS ABOUT AKBAR WILL BE LEFT UNTOLD

OTHERWISE, FOR ME, IT IS A WELCOME MOVE - AT LEAST THE CHARACTER BUTCHERING WILL STOP NOW

HOPE THEY USE THE REMAINING TIME WISELY

I m happy with the news... but there is one more news, both Pari and Rajat were not interested when CVs decided for one more leap in the show... coz after MEA track, the show was supposed to take leap of 5 years, that will show Salim's kids and Jo and Akbar as grandparents...

and I m happy ,Pari and Rajat refused to play grandparents...and anyway Akbar (Rajat) looks younger to Salim, and playing grandfather was too much for him..

and Pari had already informed that she wants to leave the show for her personal reasons... and now this leap made it easy for her, same time Rajat not being interested to play grandfather made channel think abt taking the show off air

and yes, no extention with salim's lovestories with Noorjahan

That is very sad:(
But I have a feeling it might be true. There are really no new tracks open except the Murad-Shahabuddin plot.[

IT IS SAD THAT THE MAKERS SAY THAT THEY CANT FIND ANYTHING TO SHOW, AND THAT TOO IN THE LIFE OF THE ILLUSTRIUOS AKBAR THE GREAT

BUT WHAT MORE CAN U EXPECT FROM THEM IF THEY USE UP 50 EPISODES ON BLACK MAGIC AND SUCH RIDICULOUS STUFF

THEY COULD HAVE SHOWN SO MANY WARS, OTHER POLITICAL ACTIVITY, THEY COULD HAVE SHOWN FATEHPUR SIKRI AND OTHER SUCH ARCHITECTURAL CONSTRUCTIONS, THEY COULD HAVE AT LEAST STARTED WITH DIN I ILAHI.

REALLY, COULD THERE BE A DEARTH OF TOPICS??

SO I THINK ITS BEST THEY SHUT SHOP

This is disturbing news. Jodha Akbar even at it's worst is better than several serials running at present, shows which have very little content, they have some emotional scene, loud music plays, the camera pans to closeup of the protagonists, and several seconds, even minutes are spent on this exercise.

Before I started watching Hindi serials, I used to ridicule them for this. Thank god, this has never happened in JA.

As for JA shutting down, I will believe it when I see it. This so called 'shutting down news' has been proved wrong so many times it is hard to believe anything any more.

If JA is indeed going down, then it is sad news, because I still find pleasure in it. The Laboni track was entertaining, and there are still so many stories from history the makers of the serial can tell, if they want.

I hope this so called news is again wrong.

As for those who are calling for the show to end because of the ill treatment of Akbar, I am willing to bet because of changed political climate, you are never going to see another show on Akbar in your lifetimes.

The thing is they did not want to step out of the harem. The leap after Salim was born took the show to a point of no return. Well I am glad that RT and PS want to leave and are not forced due to show ending.

DONJAS IF MAKERS ARE NOT FINDING ANYTHING WORTHWHILE TO SHOW WHAT CAN THEY DO 😆

LIKE I SAID, I AM ALSO VERY SAD, BUT MORE BECAUSE THERE COULD HAVE BEEN SO MANY GREAT THINGS TO SHOW, BUT MAKERS HAVE CHOSEN TO IGNORE

AND YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. EVEN AT ITS WORST, JA IS BETTER THAN THE OTHER SHOWS

IT HAD A GREAT SUBJECT, GREAT SETS, AMAZING LEADS AND OTHER PERFORMERS

why dear... isn't it better even for the actors? they can try something else... seriously , I can't watch both Rajat and pari playing grandparents...and CVs have no story left with them except taking leap...coz we expect them to show stories of Akbar the great... but they refuse very bluntly saying, they never promised to show Akbar's greatness, and right from start they had said that they will show lovestory of Jodha Akbar and how their love changed their lives...

if this is their view what can we expect in the story except some ghost track, or Ben or Atifa like more tracks??

they really r not interested in showing akbar's greatness...so I think it's better they stop here... and anyway this MEA track is going to thrash Akbar's character worse than till date, and Jo will again become crying queen btw Akbar and Salim... so good to stop here

Even before the serial started, I knew that the show would not be about Akbar's achievements but rather more Jodha focussed to get the ratings. That was common sense, what did anyone expect from an Ekta serial? So, my hopes have never been dashed because I never had those hopes.

I am willing to bet, never will we ever see a serial extolling the achievements of Akbar. That is never going to happen. I am even willing to bet, because of changed political climate, we will not see another serial on Akbar in our lifetimes.

As for tracks to show, how about Sati, how about MUZ becoming a great trader, how about Din I Ilahi. The stories are there so I don't buy the argument that makers are starved of ideas. And these are just historical stories, what about fantasy tales, those are limitless.
