[ 1 Month Later ]

During this one month,Paakhi didn't misbehave with Akash but she didn't accept him also.After one month,it was her birthday and everyone prepared for her surprise birthday party.In the morning when Paakhi woke up,she found a gift pack in which it was written,'From dad!'She opened the packet and found a new video game and she was so happy that she ran out of her room and hugged Rohit.Rohit and everyone wished her and Paakhi said,"Dad aap mere liye naya video game lekar aaye?How sweet!"Rohit replied,"Main tumhaare liye koi video game lekar nehi aaya baby."She asked,"Par dad isme likha hai,'from dad!'Aap jhut mat bolo mujhse please?"Rohit replied,"Bachcha main jhut nehi bol raha hu tumse.Ye dekho ye kis company ka video game hai?Tumhaare dad ki company ka aur main is ghar mein tumhaara akela dad to nehi hu,aur koi bhi to hai na."Paakhi asked,"Akash Saluja ne diya?"Rohit said,"Beta papa ko naam se nehi bulaat hai.Mana kiya hai na?"She replied,"Aap mere dad ho na,mujhe ek aur dad ki koi zarurat nehi hai,aur main kisi aur ko dad bulaaungi bhi nehi."He asked,"Natasha ko bhi to tum mom bolti ho na?To phir Akash ko dad bulaane mein tumhe kya problem hai?"Paakhi replied,"Nehi bulaaungi pehle aap bolo aap mere liye kya gift laaye ho."He replied,"Pehle tum jaakar Akash ko thank you bolkar aao aur agar dad nehi bula sakti ho to papa bula lo,jaise pehle bulaati thi.Phir main tumhe tumhaara gift dunga."Paakhi made a face and then replied,"Main kuch nehi bulaaungi."Saying she left from there and went to Akash and said,"Thank you is gift ke liye."Akash said,"You're welcome and happy birthday!!Vaise khel kar dekhna tumhe ye game pasand aaya hai ke nehi.I made it according to your choice and I hope ye tumhe bohot pasand aayega."Paakhi left from there and then went to Rohit and said,"Ab maine unhe thank you bhi bol diya ab batao mera gift kaha hai."Rohit took her outside and then brought a cycle from the garage and asked,"Do you like it?"Paakhi hugged Rohit and said,"Like it???I love it!!Main bhi kitne dino se ek cycle chahti thi aur Ad ke saath hamesha meri laraai hoti thi ke uske paas cycle hai aur mere paas nehi."Rohit said,"I promised you ke is baar tumhaare achche grades aaye to tumhe cycle laakar dunga and I kept my promise.""Par ye cycle tum agle saal se hi chalaaogi."Rohit and Paakhi turned on their back and found Ananya standing there and behind them Natasha and Akash were also standing.Paakhi pleaded,"No mom please!!"Ananya replied,"Maine to mana nehi kiya hai cycle ke liye,maine to bas itna kaha hai ke tum agle saal se cycle chala sakti ho."Akash said,"Beta mom agar mana kar rahi hai to nehi zidd karte hai na."Ananya said,"Dekha papa ne bhi mana kar diya hai."Paakhi glared at Akash and Natasha scolded Rohit,"Rohit tumne cycle kyu laakar diya hai Paakhi ko?Tumhe pata hai na Adi ko bhi cycle uske 10 th birthday par hi mila tha.Thats not fair!!"Ananya said,"Is ghar mein Panchi aur Adi hi sabse disciplined bachche hai."Rohit said,"Ek simple si cycle ke liye sab mujhpar chadhe ja rahe ho.Unki har hafte ek naye video game se to ye sasti hai."Ananya said,"Vo to mana karne ke baad bhi tum late ho isliye humne bolna hi chor diya hai."Akash looked at Paakhi's face and felt very pity for her and said,"Vaise Ananya main ye soch raha tha ke mere dadaji ne mujhe cycle kharid kar diya tha uswaqt main 6 saal ka tha literally Paakhi se bhi chota."Ananya said,"Vo tri cycle di hogi bachcho waali."He replied,"Nehi tri cycle to Suhaana ko mili thi 3 saalki umar mein dad lekar aaye the vo bhi tab jab usne khaana chor diya tha uske liye and Akshay aur Dhruv ko bhi 5 saal ki umar mein cycle mili thi."Ananya folded her arms and grinned,"Exactly tum kehna kya chahte ho?"Akash replied,"Exactly main Rohit ko thanks bolna chahta hu ke uske vajah se unintentionally hi sahi,usne meri beti ko apne khaandaani rivaaj maintain karne mein madat ki hai."Paakhi and Rohit were giggling when Ananya looked at them and then she asked,"What exactly are your family traditions batado please?Mujhe bhi to pata chale?"He bluntly replied,"There are many like apni baat kaisi bhi karke manwaana chahe uske liye koi bhi raasta apnaana pare,kisiki bhi baat na sunna hamesha apni dil ki sunna,schhol college ke time thori maar pitaai and all and last but not the least hamaare ghar ke har bachche bohot bigde huye hai aur unhe unke baap hi sabse zyaada bigaarte hai."Ananya was just looking at him like dumb and yelled,"Akash!!You're just disgusting!!"He innocently replied,"Maine kya bola jo tumne pucha maine to usi baat ka jawaab diya hai na." Natasha said to Ananya,"Anu tu chal yaha se khaamakha mein apna khoon mat jala."When she left,Akash,Paakhi and Rohit burst out into laughter and Akash said,"Kisi ne sach kaha hai ke larkiya gusse mein aur bhi khoobsurat lagti hai."Akash and Paakhi had a high-five but after doing that Paakhi realized that and then said to Rohit,"Don't worry dad main mom se chupkar chala lungi.Vaise bhi aajtak aisa kab hua hai ke mom ne mana kiya aur maine sun liya hai."Rohit agreed.

At night the party was awesome and Paakhi was very happy since her video game was just the one she wanted.In the school,Panchi was boasting of the new video game in front of Jason and his friends and was saying that the game released in the market just yesterday but they got it even before its release and it was specially made for Paakhi's birthday and the video game company was her father's.On hearing that the video game company belonged to Paakhi's father,she instantly became a major attraction and Paakhi was enjoying that but scolded Panchi and asked,"Kya zarurat thi tujhe ye saari baate bolne ki?"Panchi replied,"Arey di dekho na us Jason ko,uska muh sukh kar matchstick ban gaya hai."Paakhi said,"This is not done Panchi,you know na I don't like it."Paakhi's friends started annoying her and asking her different questions of which she didn't know the answers.She said,"Listen he came to stay with us a couple of months ago so I don't know about him that much."Saying she left and after the school,she came out very sad from her class.Aditya asked,"Kya hua?"She replied,"Hume class se bahaar educational trip par lekar ja rahe hai aur kaha hai is paper par parents ke sign chahiye."He asked,"Then whats the big deal?"She replied,"The big deal is mom and dad both are going to Australia today and they are already in flight,so who will sign this paper?Bata mujhe!"He said,"Kyu Akash uncle hai na,vo sign kar denge."Paakhi replied,"No only mom and dad will sign!!They are my guardians!!"Aditya replied,"Paakhi Rohit uncle tere legal guardian hai,kyuki abhi tak Akash uncle tere saath nehi the.Par har bachcho ke asli guardian dads hote hai aur unke absence mein mom aur Ananya bua yaha nehi hai to in that case only Akash uncle is your real guardian now and if you have to go you have to take his signature.Tu ghar jaakar Ananya bua aur Rohit uncle se baat karle dekhna vo bhi yahi kahenge."Paakhi said,"Tu hamesha mujhe ulti solution hi deta hai."Aditya replied,"You don't have any other option sissy."She made a face.That day,Akash came to pick them up from school and all of Paakhi's classmates greeted and talked with him.While on their way,Akash said,"Kya baat hai Paakhi aaj to tumne mujhe celebrity bana diya hai."Paakhi replied,"Everything is because of this Panchi,usine aapke baare mein sab kuch bata diya hai sabko aur vo video game ke baare mein bhi bol diya.Iske pet mein koi baat hi nehi pachti hai."Akash said,"Koi baat nehi isse to tumhaari hi izzat baregi na socho Jason tumhe kabhi cheedha nehi paayega.Achcha hi hua aur Paakhi ne bilkul thik kiya hai."Panchi was very happy when Akash supported her.

At home,after dinner,Paakhi called Ananya.The convo :-

P :- "Mom Iam missing you!!Jaldi waapas aa jaao!"

A :- (in a teasing tone) "Paakhi is missing me??Let me guess zarur koi kaam hai.Arey ha ab to dad bhi nehi hai jinse apni wish puri karwa sako,but ha papa to hai ghar pe and jaha tak maine dekha tumhaare papa kaafi diplomatic hai,vo dono taraf balance karke chalte hai aur dono ko khush rakhte hai.Vo tumhaare bua ko bhi bara spoil karte hai tumhe bhi karenge go and enjoy!"

P :- "Mom ye bilkul sahi nehi hai,aap hamesha mujhe tease karti ho.Main aapse baat nehi karungi."

A :- "Achcha achcha sorry!!Batao kya hua?Awaaz se lag raha hai ke kuch to hua hai."

P :- "Actually parso na school trip ja rahi hai mujhe bhi jaana hai aur parents ke sign chahiye paper mein par aap to yaha ho nehi.Ab main kya karu?"

A :- "To papa hai na papa se lelo.Isme kya hai?"

P :- "Mujhe unse sign nehi karaana hai.Please mamma aa jaao na."

A :- "Ole mela bachcha,mamma ko itna miss kar raha hai mera baby.Koi baat nehi mamma aa jaayegi 2-3 dino mein.Jab musibat hoti hai tab mom mamma ban jaati hai.Abhi so jaao,waha to raat ho gayi hai aur papa se sign kara lena beta,papa se kaisi sharam?Vo to kitne pyar se baat karte hai tumse.I know baba you can't accept him so easily but just try to give him some love beta,thora sa pyar unko dekar to dekho,tumhaare papa tumhaare liye apni jaan de denge.Jo apni step sister se itna pyar kar sakte hai,socho vo tumse kitna karte honge.You know jab unhe hamaare baare mein kuch bhi nehi pata tha unhone mujhe yaha last time US mein jab aaye the tab propose kiya tha and he also said that he will love you more than your own father to socho abhi to unko sab pata chal gaya hai ke vohi tumhaare papa hai.Just think!!"

P :- (in a sad tone)"Thik hai!!Good night!"

A :- "Good night!!"

They disconnected the call.

Paakhi knocked into Akash's room before entering and he said,"You don't have to knock before coming beta."Paakhi thought how to start the topic and seeing her uneasiness,he asked,"Kuch kehna chahti ho?"She gathered a lot of courage and said,"Vo...vo parso na hamaare claas ko trip par lekar ja rahe hai,uske liye parents ke sign chahiye.Mujhe waha jaana hai."Akash said,"Beta tumhaare mom aur dad to nehi hai na to...Aur jab vo nehi hai to unke absence mein tumhe jaana bhi nehi chahiye."Paakhi said,"Maine mom se baat kar li hai unhe koi problem nehi hai bas aap sign..."Akash looked at her with surprise and asked,"Main sign karu?"She replied,"Vo Ad ne kaha ke dad sirf mere legal guardian kyuki aap itne saal hamaare saath nehi the abhi aap aa gaye ho to aap hi mere legal parent ho so..."Akash said,"Ok agar mom ne permission di hai to I have no problem but sign karne se pehle main tumhaare teachers se baat karunga uske baad vo tumhe kaha lekar ja rahe hai ye pata karunga phir sign karunga."Paakhi said,"Main unke saath educational trip par ja rahi hu aur mom ne khud permission di hai to aapko kya problem hai?"He replied,"Beta mom aur dad yaha US mein rehte hai unko sab jagah ke baare mein pata hai par mujhe kuch nehi pata hai aur mom dad bhi nehi hai to aise mein ye to meri responsibility banti hai na ke main in sab baato ka dhyaan rakkhu."Paakhi opposed,"But..."Akash said,"Paakhi I never prefer to be strict with kids but this much every parent should do aur mom hoti to vo bhi support karti so in that case,I don't want any argument.I will always spoil you saving from your mother but at the same time I can be very strict with you jab baat tumhaari security ki ho.Ok?Raat ho gayi hai jaakar so jaao.Main kal tumhaare school aakar tumhaare teacher se baat kar lunga.Good night!!"Paakhi fumed angrily and then left from there.

Paakhi again called Ananya and complained her against Akash.The convo :-

P :- "Mom aapke permission ke baad bhi vo mere teacher se baat karenge.Mujhe unka sign nehi chahiye aap hi mere teacher se baat karlo."

A :- "Beta papa ne jo kuch bhi kaha hai vo bilkul thik kaha hai.Main hoti na to main bhi yehi karti."

P :- "But mom ye to sahi nehi hai na."

A :- "Beta papa jo kar rahe hai na vo sirf tumhaari bhalaai aur tumhaare security ke liye hi kar rahe hai aur vo vohi karenge jo tumhaare liye thik hoga so agar vo tumse pyar karte hai,tumhe spoil karte hai par ye nehi hai ke tumhaari saari baate maanenge."

P :- "Aap bhi unke jaise ban gayi hai."

A :- "Dekhna Paakhi ye baat tumhaare liye hi achchi hogi jo papa kar rahe hai unhe karne do.Abhi so jaao."

Paakhi angrily disconnected the call.
