With all this argument about Amit's lyric problem in Tanhayee, I just got curious...

I personally think that sur is much more important than lyrics! If you think about it, sur is basically what makes music music, so wouldn't you rather listen to someone sing with messed up lyrics than listen to someone sing totally besura but with good lyrics?

Sur is what seperates a singer from someone simply reading poetry. Besides that, when they're doing playback, the lyrics will be in front of them, so being able to remember them isn't as important😆

well i think that sur is more important....... and a very valid point has been made that playack singers in the studio has the lyrics right in front of him..................anybody can learn the lyrics but without the correct sur and taal its useless

Both are important. Sur is' more' important but since this isnt recording and is singing live on stage its really important to be careful with sur and lyrics aswell

no lyrics no sur!they r singing live , they should be aware of the lyrics as for now 😃
