why Prashant?

As a general and all-too noticeable observation in different indian idol communities I have noticed minus a few exceptions, most of prashant's fans never endulge in mud slinging or abusive behaviour and rarely incite amit's fans when they really get under your skin. In fact most of the prashant's fans are most likely to be amit's fans too. But the feelings are not reciprocated.

But over all as an observation, prashant's fans are the most well behaved and decent fans and mind their own business.

but just as a curiousity?

why do prashant's fans not hate any other contestant or their fans like they hate prashant and prashant's fans?

One local newspaper in Shilong wrote on Sep 14 that if Amit lose the Indian Idol title, then all nepalese origin people and their relatives will be chased away from Meghalaya. Tension and fear has grown among the communities and it has dragged serious attention of politician. Communist party leader and MLA Suraj Pathak has met and discussed with other political leaders and MLAs from north eastern states to prevent possible unwanted scuffles. He has appealed all NE people to take this event just as entertainment show, enjoy music and refrain from disrupting social harmony.

ya i agree even i am a gret fan of prasant but i too like amit because they both deserve to be the winner.

we are here to support our idol(prashant),not to bash anyother contestants,everyone's good and equally deservin'.prashant has really worked very hard and proved he's no less deservin than anyother,he's been a dark horse,wanna see him win the title.

As you yourself have mentioned most of them started out having 2 favourites, Prashant and Amit, so now since only these two are left, it would be weird to bash Amit. I understand some bashing has happened, but only as a retaliation to topics after topics repeating how Amit is great and Prashant is crap etc, or how Prashant is only getting votes from one community (whereas Amit's case is same too).

Another fact is, Prashant has always maintained his humbleness, he even named himself as being one of the over-rate singers; he has said that Amit has everything that an idol should have etc, which shows what a big heart he has. But that doesn't mean he has surrendered, but instead has given his best. So given this background, it would be weird if those who like him start behaving in an opposite manner.

m a fan of both amit n prasant..but will b more happy if prasant wins not just because he is humble but he is also a great singer ...
