Delivering the biggest grosser of the year also means your movie is watched by the maximum number of people in that particular year on the big screen. In this day and age, with prices of movie ticket soaring, piracy and various options for entertainment (like television), it's tough to bring audiences to theatres.

Hence, topping the 'biggest grosser list' is nothing short of a major achievement. Below is a list of all major actors today and the count of the biggest grossers of the year to their credit.

It will basically be Salman vs SRK because Aamir is not coming this year.

Basically Dilwale vs BB/PRDP. I have a feeling Dilwale will be too big for either BB or PRDP.

DIWALE would have been 300 Cr film if it would have landed on Dec 25, 1st Holiday & Then rest in coming weeks... but now on Dec 18, with a confirmed clash, it is hardly 2 push towards 150-200 Cr. So it is possible 2 land No.3 this year, No.1 kisi bhi haalat mein nahi, may be No.2 if any Salman's film under-perform.
