it is not that simple. remember she is a baanj. Raman found out she had slim chances of conceiving. So she does not want to build up her hopes and not disappoint Raman if she is unable to comceive. It seems there is too much pressure on her for a baby, which in itself is making her more uncomfortable and stressed...
