Prologue
The auditorium was beautifully decorated with lights nd candles. The seats were perfectly arranged fr the guests to be seated. The guests started arriving to the venue. All were present in the party, from top businessmen of the country to politicians nd national heads.
The song started playing as Raman Kumar Bhalla, the business man of the year nd the guest of honour entered the hall. As he entered, he saw the curtains were removed nd dancers were coming out in the hall, performing on the song. Seats were removed for a while to give them space. All the dancers were wearing masks, thereby hiding their faces. Raman moved to the drinks corner nd got himself engrossed in it. He was continuously watching the dance, as the lyrics of the song started. The hall's light got dimmed nd now there was only the light of the candles. A spotlight was following the dancers.
He was looking at the dancers when his eyes caught familiars among the dancers. She was wearing a mask nd she was continuously looking at him, while dancing. Her face, though covered, looked familiar to him. She was dancing very well, wearing a blue dress which was left loose at her knees to make movements possible. Everyone seemed to be amazed by her performance. He was looking at her when every dancer took off his/her mask. He was curiosly stairing at her to see her face. But when she removed her mask, he had an unbelievable sight infront of him. She had the same face as of his wife, Ishita. His jaw dropped on looking at her. He left his drink nd entered between the dancers to take a clear look at her. She turned around, facing in the opposite direction as of Raman nd stood there without moving. Raman moved forward to her, closing the distance between them. He tried to put his hand on her shoulder but as his hand touched her skin, she vanished into the air as if it was a hallucination. He rubbed his eyes nd opened it to find nothing infront of him. As the song proceeded, the woman was there again in front of him but with a mask. Her touch felt the same to him as of Ishita. He wanted to remove her mask but couldn't in front of so many people.
She nd the other dancers left the hall nd went to the stage to perform. As they were dancing, Raman saw her moving back nd she let the other dancers to come in. As she was standing at the back of the dancers, Raman saw her removing her mask. As she removed it from her face, Raman was very shocked to see her. All he could utter was 'Ishita', looking at her. He saw her lookin at him nd then she vanished again in the air. Now he was sure that this was no hallucination, he actually saw his wife's soul after 4 years from her death indicating him that something was left then to be completed now. Her life was not over yet. All the memories came running to his mind reminding about the moments he spent with Ishita, from her first look to the last second of her burial...
