Aamir Khan is known to be the Strongest KHAN, Brilliant Actor, One who knows SCRIPTS than any other star in industry, but when it comes to his Biggest Hits, they all have landed during Big Holidays & Holidays Weeks only. While for last 2 ATBBs he even raised Ticket Prices (Not as much as he could break Avatar / Jurrassic World Record) but he could come at TOP.
Why didn't Aamir had that confidence in his SCRIPTS & GUTS to land on Non-Holidays period of time & Deliver BIG BIG HITS without those extra help from Holidays???
1. Raja Hindustani - ATBB - Diwali's next Day Biggest Holiday (HNY Made 45 Cr on that day)
2. Rang De Basanti - Hit - 26 January Republic Day
3. Taare Zameen Par - Super Hit - Xmas Week
4. Ghajini - BlockBuster - Xmas Day
5. 3 Idiots - ATBB - Xmas Week
6. Dhoom 3 - ATBB - Xmas Week
7. PK - ATBB - Xmas Week
He had a Independence Day Week holidays for DCH & Mangal Pandey, both Big films for him, but failed.
As BOI stated, a Holiday can boast a film like Besharam from 46 to 58 cr, But Aamir isn't Ranbir Kapoor kind who need that boast for doing that kind of film.
Why not come in JUNE / JULY / MAY / SEP - Non-Holidays & Show us CONTENT SCRIPT power as some recent films in recent years have done, some even done 100 cr??
As comparisons will be drawn with other 2 Khans, let me say it for others, Srk i won't take name as Srk fans themselves keep him below Aamir, Salman Khan as forum has his image of being Non-Actor, No-Script films, Lallu bechaarey ki rozi roti hi Holidays hai, all his films hits coz of HOLIDAYS.
But Aamir is above them, so why can't he come & show CONTENT power on Non-Holidays?
