Why Hrithik Roshan has LESS Chartbuster Dance Number in his films?

He is known to be one of the best dancers from Hindi Film Industry, yet he hasn't been able to give big dance numbers from past 8 years. His last chartbuster song was in 2006 from Dhoom 2, title track "Dhoom Machale". In fact in his whole career of 21 films, he has very few dance chartbuster numbers from his films like:

1. KNPH - Ek Pal Ka Jeena
2. Yaadein - Jab Dil Mile
3. K3G - You are my Soniya
4. Koi Mil Gaya - It's Magic
5.Lakshya - Main aisa kion hoon
6. Dhoom 2 - Dhoom Machale

That's it, now why is it he can't have more dance chartbuster songs?

And also because Hrithik isn't a one-trick pony. He tries different things and different roles, many of which do not require dance.

Not to mention he's also not a choreographer nor a music composer. If a choreographer won't utilize his dance ability, not his fault. If a music composer/director won't create dance-oriented songs or if the movie doesn't require dancing songs, not his fault.

He is a great dancer.. I like the way his body move smoothly. No one.. I mean it no one in BW able to dance like him. Not shahid tiger or anyone. He dance really well though I'm not a fangirl of him.

Bang Bang surely does count as chartbuster in my opinion. But even if I do exclude the other songs I mentioned, the points I made still stand. Hrithik is an actor before dancer. I would think he chooses movies based on the script, the scope of his role as opposed to whether he can get a chartbuster dance song out of it or not. Sure he does have the exceptional dancing talent to add to his skills and so rightfully the filmmakers are able to capitalize on that too.

He didn't get any chance to dance in movies like. jodha Akbar, Fiza or Guzarish.

There was a dance number in Aap mujhe achcha lagne lagey,but no one remembers that movie. 😆
He and Esha Deol performed on a song in Naa tum jaano naa hum,which was awesome. 😛

Hrithik's claim to fame is "Ek Pal Ka Jeena" song, his dance moves, giving excuse of just chosing scripts only is shifting the focus of the this thread's question. I ain't saying don't choose Scripts, so it means all those 6 songs i listed above had no scripts in those films? He is SuperStar i guess next to Khans, so u saying he can't give chartbuster song in 8 yrs coz he ask them 2 focus on scripts & not songs? 😆

How's that an excuse bro? I'm really not trying to "shift the focus". Tell me is any actor responsible for the choreography and songs that the movie has. I would think any actor (not just Hrithik) chooses a movie for its storyline or script or maybe they like working with a certain director.

How's he responsible for how catchy a song is or how good the dance is? Any choreography or dance he gets, he does it effortlessly. A charbuster song is a collective effort between the music, choreography, and how well an actor/dancer delivers it. He doesn't decide the fate or creation of one all on his own.

And no I'm not saying those movies didn't have script. Not at all. Those movies had script. His amazing dance was an added bonus that the movie makers makes took advantage of.

Yes because it is totally appropriate for Akbar or Vijay Deenanath Chauhan to break into dance numbers
