Media is more into being number one rather showing the main important news...

yes indeed! after the immense media mess up initially professing need of Iraq war (october 2002 till march 2003).. now they recently reported how they were being FORCED to say that war was necessary- so I have been mad at media here for a while.
what happened to telling the truth?

i was disgusted at the news and when i saw ur post yesterday, i got more mad at media. i was trying to get over their celebrity-obsession.. and this does it! no trust, no use - that's media

👏 Well said!!! number 1 banking on masala news rather then actual news... but if you think of it why media is side tracking, guess becuase they are getting trp, more trp's that means people are actually liking masala then just pure news old Doordarshan style.

On another thread we discussed about Sanjay Dutt trial and Major Manoj Pitambare's news getting sidelined because of that. Why did that happen? If one channel was providing juicy tidbits about an actor's prison routine and another channel telecasted Major's achievements, which would have gained more TRPs?

Isn't media a business too? Should media be blamed for the mediocrity people want to see?

Yup, same thing I tried to point out ^^^, media is not the only one to be blamed here, they show what people want to hear, read and see😛
