Amit will win, not because he will get more votes but because he is already a fixed winner.

I read a new story, that supports the above rumor. It tells that RAW is also behind the game that wants Amit to make winner of the Indian Idol. RAW is charged with this plan to unite rebelling youngsters of NE in music by projecting a massive campaign for Amit for the title. The historical unity seen in the NE has made RAW excited in success of their plan unlike the case of Qazi Tauqeer (the Kashmiri) experiment. Qazi was pulled up as many as 11 times from the danger zone in similar musical program hosted by sony television.

One may say "Believe it", the other may say - "Don't believe it". It is up to you.

If this is true, I will be very happy for Amit's win. Both Prashant and Amit have made their own space for their musical future.

My only question remains then - "Why should I vote?" if the winner is already fixed.

Yes, crazy fans do not want to believe this, but those who are not crazy they are seriously taking this. So many questions are asked regarding the rumor but none is answered - except saying "Don't believe the rumor". I don't understand why there is no reason to believe, if there is no reason not to believe it. The vote counts are not in few hundred or thousands, but in the order of millions. Absence of trustworthy and independent vote monitoring agency is the single issue that alone is enough to question credibility of Sony's results. Indian government should have monitored such an even participated by so large public mass more closely, which risks to be the largest consumer flirt in the world if Sony riggs the voting result. Too sad, there is nothing in the process of Indian Idol judgment, that would verify the result.

As I said earlier, the planners of conspiracy game put their full effort not to leave any trace of the proof that may backfire them. Therefore, Sony would work very hard to coverup everything they did for fixing the result. Fortunately it is coming out as rumour, which is at least good to save people from wasting their money in paid SMS voting.

My suggestion: Instead of portraying me as a bad guy, dare to ask Sony to plant a trustworthy independent vote-monitoring agency and voice as loud as you can to make the judging system transparent. Will you?

prashant has been promoted frm the begining... frm the auditions (when he marched in2 the audition room) to the theatre rd (the whole richa issue) to the piano rd .... hes been getting a lot of air tym...
that is why prashant was never in Bottom 3.
They made Amit in Bottom 2 with Chang. And Voted out Emon by foul play.
Sony wants Prashnat for Sympathy votes, that is why he is never in Bottom 3 even when his performance is weak.
One Judge from Sony even offered Playback to Prashant infront of Live audience when there were better singers.

Totally hopeless arguments.
Why did richa felt sorry to prashant if that was Sony's plan?
Why don't you recall Anu mallik saying several other contestants- tu mere music me playback song karega, etc. etc.
Do you really have counted air time?
What sony has to do with sympathy votes? If you are trying to say sony is getting more votes for Prashant, then that is what the format of II show.

I am asking Sony to engage a trustworthy independent vote-monitoring agency not for Prashant or Amit to win, but for a fair competition. Why Amit fans are afraid of a fair competition? All rumors and independent agencies claim Amits win, which is what Sony has already fixed to declare.

Does it matter who Sony wants to be the Indian Idol. Come on people, why would they open thier lines for voting if they really had a choice? They can't tamper with results. These discussions have no meaning at all.
