Not a continuous viewer but catching up on NB7 since 2-3 weeks... Chetan Bhagat, in particular, got me to post here..
He seems pretty similar to KJo, which is completely fine.. What's not fine is the way everyone treats him and ridicules him indirectly which comes across easily..In today's episode, Farah asked him if he wanted to taste the chocolate from Upen instead of Karishma, called him Chetan ma'am, etc.I mean, it's obviously a joke and funny to an extent, but when you look at the bigger picture, you see the homophobia that exists in our society even today..Can't be annoyed at Chetan really for faking the attraction towards Karishma instead.. it's the sad society we live in, where a person can't be himself.. pretty sure he's had an arranged marriage as well..I also find it particularly alarming that a judge on the show and an esteemed writer is mocked in such a way on a national platform..India ka kuch nahi hoga..

There is nothing wrong with being homosexual, but there is something wrong about calling out a person's sexuality. You seem to have good intentions yet the spirit of this post can be construed as hurtful.
Chetan is a married man and has children. By his own account he is heterosexual. What makes him seemingly a closet homosexual? His "feminine" ways?
That in itself is a form of bullying and stereotyping.
There is nothing wrong with being a homosexual, but putting the label on someone just because of a set of actions is called stereotyping.
You are doing here what you are accusing others of doing: boxing in and labeling people.
