CHAPTER-2.
If Radhika had been stunned earlier,she was now completely thunderstruck,as the warm male lips moved over hers.His hands left her waist to run into her open hair,and hold her firmly by the neck as he went on kissing her..
And her shock was soon followed by unwanted warmth and heat,as hot waves of need started running through her system..It started from the center of her stomach and spiraled its way upwards,downwards and every cell of her body was swamped by the overpowering passion this stranger had ignited.What was happening to her?!!
Radhika tried her best to hold onto her sanity,and brought on her courage and common sense,ready to push him away,when her hands placed on his chest ready to shove him away,stayed still over there,as his one hand had moved to caress her sensitive earlobe with his thumb,while his other hand curved round her waist and squeezed gently there,making another fresh shower of electric current make her system spin.And on the while his lips caressed hers,and his tongue licked at the seam of her lips seeking entry.
"Kiss me princess.."He whispered huskily against her closed lips,but Radhika was just not ready to yield to him.
And as if he had a never ending supply of tricks in his secret Pandora's box,the hand on her waist was now massaging her back,and his lips moved to kiss her neck..
Radhika was getting ready to push him off herself,when he gently bit on one earlobe,making her nearly moan out,as a jolt passed through her.Nearly but not completely as she was still sane enough and fighting hard to set herself free from her own betraying feelings and also from this stranger who had dared to-..
She choked on the moan again,as he suckled on her sensitive throbbing pulse at the base of her neck,and her stomach muscles clenched up in response as his hands moved to her soft bottom,and pulled her close against his hardened body.
He kissed his way up her neck,nibbling and licking on the sensitive skin..Doing his best to make her yield,and nearly succeeding,as Radhika felt herself losing all control.She was being drowned in this fierce turbulent storm of emotions that she had never ever felt before,and she had to-..

Slowly she turned burning eyes to his.
"I am sorry..Radhika.."He said in a strained voice his face indecipherable in the darkness,and in the next instant let her arm go.And before Radhika could blink he had vanished into the shadows.
Two days later Radhika had almost wiped the incident from her memory.Almost but not really completely.Almost like a few hours everyday when she tried to keep herself busy with her job or in family gatherings..
Family,Radhika had a huge family.And she bestowed all her love on them.Her dad,to her he was the greatest man on earth..Her aunt-Sarla bua was her another favourite.This comprised her huge family..And sometimes her best friends Sam and Neil whose parents was also family friends joined in to make her family humongous..And the best family in Radhika's eyes.
Sarla bua-She filled the place of her mother in her life,never making her miss the one woman who should mean everything to her..The one woman Radhika had never seen,or heard of..The one woman who had left a baby Radhika in the orphanage with only her name as her gift.Radhika Mishra..That was all she had been given by her so called mother.So it was not a surprise that Radhika Mishra was the beloved daughter of Mr. Surjeet Kumar..The renowned owner of the Kumar Industries.But to Radhika he was her beloved dad.
She was the apple of his eye since he brought a baby Radhika home along with his now expired wife,Radhika Kumar..Yes,they had the same name..And Surjeet found peace in it,when he saw little Radhika growing up,knowing in his heart that if he had a daughter she would have been just like her.And when Mrs. Kumar died of cancer when Radhika was only one year old,Surjeet made baby Radhika his world.But he never hid the fact that he was not her true father..And now one could not be separated from the other.
So on this fine Sunday morning,as Radhika hummed a favourite song while making breakfast alone,since Sarla bua had gone to visit some friend of hers for some days,the ringing of the bell did not surprise her at all.It was her dad returning from his morning walk of course.
"Coming dad!!!"She called out,as she quickly wiped her dough covered hands in a kitchen towel,and ran towards the door.
But she could not stop the scream that escaped her lips as her dad nearly stumbled onto her,and seemed bruised and scraped on his hands.
"DAD!!!!!WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?!!OH MY GOD!!!"She screamed out in fear,as she stumbled herself trying to carry the tall strong man into the drawing room.But she did not have to work too hard,as suddenly a pair of strong hands came forward to support her dad,and to her dismay her dad thankfully took it with a grateful smile.
"It's alright Radhika.I am fine..It was just a mere fall.."Her father reassured her as the tall stranger took him to sit on the drawing room.
Radhika did not know how to react or what to say when the tall familiar stranger slowly turned to face her,still standing at the open doorway with her mouth hung open comically.
As his dark eyes met hers,did she imagine it or was there a bit of humour in them?!!Was this guy stalking her?!!She could not help wondering..But it was her dad,who brought her to reality.
"Radhika love come here.Meet Arjun.Arjun Mehra.I don't know what would have happened to me if he was not there today..And Arjun this is the apple of my eye,my life,my beautiful daughter Radhika."As Surjeet finished,Radhika who still looked at him doubtfully,saw the look of surprise cross his face,as her dad introduced her..And then the typical mockery of raising his eyebrows at her,when her dad called her beautiful,had her fuming inwardly already.
So it was only for decency's and her father's sake that she shook the hand held upto her by the scoundrel called Arjun whatever.And she still hated the tingling sensation the touch with his hand caused,and she hated it more that he held her hand longer than necessary,as if he just did not want to let go.
But as she set her hand free,she was soon busy making sure her father was truly alright,and fussing over him..And a doctor was soon there,to her irritation called by Arjun,even before she could do it.She hated the way her father praised him and looked at him with love.It was horrible to see!And she did not even know why..Well,she did know in a way.She still had the memory of what he had done to her only two days ago still fresh in her mind..
But he did apologise..A voice said from the back of her mind,but Radhika still believed he was nothing but a scoundrel,and probably a stalker as well.Well he could even be a serial killer!!!
She thought as her eyes rounded in alarm with the thought,and she stared at him.And to her annoyance he was smirking with a knowing look at her,as if he could read her thoughts.
Radhika rolled her eyes at him and turned to get busy in the kitchen,hoping and praying he got out of the house along with the doctor,who was almost done checking her dad up.Well,Mr. Know it all could always show himself out!She huffed to herself,as she scrunched up her face in concentration as she started molding the dough again.
Radhika was getting ready to roll the parathas she was making when a slight noise behind her made her yelp out,as she slipped on some flour that had fallen on the floor,thanks to her being a messy cook.She closed her eyes,ready for the pain of fall,but all that followed was a tingling sensation,as she realized she was half lying backwards in the arms of Arjun Mehra again..!
"Don't worry Radhika..Even if you aren't a princess,your knight in shining armour is here to save you.."He said with a soft chuckle,making her flush all over.
Instantly she tried to straighten up fast and without his support,and the end result was an even bigger mess.
She yelped as she tried to get her balance again as she slipped on the flour yet again,and somehow tried to hold onto something to prevent the fall,which ended up being the container of flour itself..
THUD!!!
Seconds passed,and finally when she could open her eyes,she realised she was lying on top of Mr. Smart Arjun Mehra,who was at present fit enough to audition for circus as the White joker,or maybe the white Phantom of the opera,completely covered in flour,as he lay flat on the ground..
And as he squinted his eyes open,and looked up at her with clear shock in his eyes,Radhika could not stop the laughter that escaped her lips as she looked down at the combination of his baffled,annoyed and bemused expression all at the same time.
But her laughter soon died,as suddenly his hands on her waist that were earlier there to support her,now tightened,pulling her tighter and closer to him.He moved his one hand up her spine,forcing her head closer to his..His eyes darkening as he studied her slightly parted lips,and then looked at her rounded eyes..
"You think it's funny do you..?"He asked in a dangerous husky voice,his eyes dark as a stormy night sky,as Radhika's breathing nearly stopped and her heart was ready to burst again..
His warm moist breath fanned her cheeks and lips making them tingle with uncontrollable heat,as he pulled her closer and closer to his waiting hungry looking ones..
