CHAPTER-3.
Time seemed to have gone slow,as he pulled her head closer and closer to his.His dark eyes burning into hers,and Radhika looked on unblinkingly until his face had become a blur,making her close her eyes.All the fight seemed to have left her body,if she had any left in the first place that is.
His warm breath against her lips had her pulse throbbing heavily,and the soft muscles of her stomach seemed to have knotted up in tension,as wild sparks rocketed through her blood and nervous system..Tingling sensations that spread all along was making her feel dizzy and weak..She could feel his lips close to hers now.Any moment now,he would-..
"Princess..?"He whispered huskily,making her open her eyes in an instant.Was he mocking her by calling her by the very name she had told him not to use..Was that a hint of mockery and amusement she could see in those dark eyes?
The dark eyes then shifted to her parted lips close to his,and made them burn and tingle like anything.He looked at them for what seemed like an eternity,studying their outline,and making Radhika flush deeper and deeper.And when he had finally looked back into her eyes,her entire body was already on fire,that was heated up further by the dark stormy look in his eyes.Her insides tightened and did a somersault as if in response to the hungry look on his harsh handsome face.
Radhika opened her lips to say something,but then closed it instantly as her eyes fell on his chiseled ones only inches from hers.She needed to move,she realized.She had to move now,or else-..
As if reading her thought he himself moved.But not to help her up as she had expected.He suddenly turned her round,so that now she was trapped under his hard male body on the ground.Her breath left her body in a gasp at the act.What was the man doing?!!
He moved his head closer to her now,and specks of powdered flour fell on her face off his hair and face,making her blink and shut her eyes.
"Let me up.."She said in a completely irritated tone,trying her best to push him off her,but in vain.
"But I haven't had my laugh yet.."He whispered huskily,making her frown.What did he mean by that?!!
She got her answer in the next second as he moved her head down to hers slowly.Oh God!Was he going to kiss her again?!She could not help wondering,as his came lower and lower in torturous slow place.Of course she was not excited!It was just some strange twitching of her insides that occurred when this weird man came closer,which she tried her best to control and yet-..
His dark eyes held her gaze,not letting her blink even for a second,until his face became a blur due to the closeness.And then before she could stop him,he had moved his head sideways and was brushing his rough flour covered cheek against her soft ones,making her gasp out again.He did it slowly,making the motion itself erotic and sensual,and Radhika felt her blood was almost ready to boil with the spark he was lighting with the soft,slow brushing of his slightly stubbled cheek against her soft ones.And he took his own sweet time.First one cheek then the other,making sure she was fully coated with flour just like him.And then when he studied her flushed flour smeared face,he shook his head indicating something was still missing.And this time Radhika closed her eyes just in time before he dusted his flour covered hair right on top of her.
When he was done,an angry Radhika stared daggers up at him,making him chuckle in amusement,which further pissed her off.
"Now we are equal princess.."He chuckled with a wink,and was up in no time.
Radhika ignored the hand he extended towards her to help her up.She would rather die than take any favour from this man,she decided angrily and carefully and finally successfully rose onto her feet.
"The bathroom is right side from out of this door."She said in a curt voice,deliberately indicating him to leave her alone.
And thankfully this time he quietly complied,and the moment he was out of the door Radhika let out a sigh of relief.She had a lot of mess to clean up.
Radhika spent a tiresome breakfast with the company of Arjun Mehra in their dining table,and she hated the way her dad seemed to take to him.As if he was his long lost son or something.She tried to drown the odd pangs of jealousy that she had started to feel for no reason.And finally relaxed when the famous Arjun Mehra had left through the front door.
From the front window Radhika saw him getting inside a black SUV parked infront of the car.A slight thoughtful frown creased her brows.Wasn't he wearing a black t-shirt today too?Why did the guy like black so much?But as the car sped away,he turned back to her life,and was there by her dad to help him with whatever he needed her for.And soon as she got busy with her daily chores,Arjun Mehra was stored away somewhere at the back of her mind to be thought about later on,if she could keep acting of forgetting him that is.
Arjun Mehra himself was not acting at all.He was just thinking about her as he drove his SUV towards his favourite place,just outside the outskirts of the city,on top of a hill with a panoramic of the whole city.
After bringing his car to a skidding halt,he got out of the car,and took out the bottle of champagne.After shaking the bottle he popped the cork open as the foaming champagne bubbled out of the bottle.With loud laughter,that sounded more maniacal than normal,he took a long sip directly from the bottle,not caring as he got wet by the spilling drink too.And then he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand,as he stretched his arms open at the late morning sunlight.
He stood still with closed eyes,letting the warm sunlight bask him in its heat,and took a long satisfying breath,and then slowly he opened his eyes,shining with triumph and a dangerous glitter.
"CONGRATULATIONS ARJUN MEHRA!!!YOUR PLAN ONE IS SUCCESSFUL!!!!!AND ALL WHO STANDS BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR SUCCESS WILL EVENTUALLY BE CRUSHED TO THE GROUND!LIKE ALWAYS!!!HERE I COME RADHIKA MISHRA!!!STOP ME IF YOU CAN!!!"He screamed out at the open empty valley,where his voice echoed loudly.His words were followed by further loud maniacal laughter."Stop me if you can..If you dare.."He whispered the last words softly as he took another long sip from the champagne bottle.
His mind on the memory of those soft lips he had tasted.She tasted good.Made him feel good.He was going to have a very good time with her.This vengeance would be an interesting one.As she thought about the way her soft body had felt in his arms,his thighs tightened in response,and he chuckled further.Oh,this was going to be one heated vengeance if it was left upto him.And of course it was always left upto him.The one and only Arjun Mehra.That was one thing that would never change.Because he would not let it be changed by anyone or anything.Never ever.
Even the thought made his whole stance stronger,his dark eyes glittering as he stared at the panoramic view spread infront.But he did not see a thing.Even the beautiful singing of a bird from a nearby mango tree did not reach his ears.Nor did the soft cool breeze blowing in the smell of wild flowers from somewhere nearby did not affect him.Cause Arjun Mehra was immune to all things beautiful.Every beauty was wasted on him.He craved only for vengeance.He lived only for vengeance.
And he had already set his next plan in motion..
"Don't do it!!!Ajay don't do it!!!Please!!!No!!!No!!!Stop it!!!NO!!!!!!!"The terrified woman ran out of the small nearly crumbling cottage,bruises all over her arms and face.
A huge figure was after her,as she stumbled on stones due to her saree,and still tried desperately to run away.As fast as possible.As far as possible.But the brute behind her would not let her.He just would not.
She had reached the edge of the road when the figure was almost on top of her.He was ready to hit her with the belt coiled in his hand when the man's eyes fell on someone else.
An ugly grin spread through his face,as he left the woman and walked forward towards the small figure hiding in the bush close by.
He was coming closer and closer..
"NO!!!!Not Him!!!Ajay no!!!!NO!!!Leave him!!!Please!!!"The woman wept in vain,as she tried to hold him back,by pulling at his legs.The man stopped,and slowly menacingly turned back to face her.
Lowering his dirty hand he dug his broken finger nails into her scalp as he pulled hard at her hair,nearly tearing them out of the roots.She let out a loud scream of agony that echoed all around the surrounding,but of course no one heard.Except the small figure sitting still in the bush.
The vile thing was being taken up again.It coiled and hurt more than a snake would.
SWISH!!!SWISH!!!
The sound was always the same.And what followed was nothing new either.
She was being thrashed again.Hard lashes from the belt fell on her already bruised and bleeding skin,her cuts oozing through her torn blouse.
"Have mercy!!!Oh GOD!!!Have mercy!!!"She wept in vain,but there was no mercy.There was never any mercy..
