the other side of rakhi

Rakhi Sawant is normally in the news for her controversial statements and bindaas style. But recently the world got to witness a softer and more emotional side of Rakhi when she burst into tears while attending an event organized by the Lions Club for physically challenged kids in Mumbai recently.

When Rakhi heard one of the contestant's sing the song Aye Malik Tere Bande Hum from film the Do Ankhen Baara Haath, she was so moved by the performance that she couldn't control her tears.

Her boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi tells us more. "People don't believe this but she is a very emotional girl. As it is she loves songs from old films and when she heard and saw the performance she actually felt the emotions the young kid was trying to convey," says Abhishek.

Rakhi was there for the inaugural function of a school to be opened for physically challenged children in Dahisar, Mumbai. However, this is not the first time that the item girl has been involved in social activities. Previously when Rakhi earned some money after being part of another reality show, she donated it all to a municipal school called Gyan Sagar Vidyamandir in Oshiwara to buy four computers.
