Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan has completed 23 golden years of success in the Indian film industry today as his debut film 'Deewana' was released on June 25, 1992. SRK's journey from being a TV star to the King of Bollywood has made an enormous contribution to Hindi cinema.

He started his acting career with a TV series 'Fauji' in 1989. The actor played the male lead in the daily soap. After this, in 1991 he decided to move to the big screens after the demise of his mother.

The superstar has not only essayed the heroic roles but has also played the negative parts in films like Darr' and Baazigar' in which he portrayed an obsessive lover and a murderer, respectively.

On this proud occasion, his fans are showering praises over him on the micro-blogging site Twitter. Also, the event is trending with a hashtag '23 Golden Years Of SRK', on the same.

Khan is known for his romantic image all over the world and has romanced almost all the top heroines of Bollywood.

Shahrukh's last release was Director Farah Khan's 'Happy New Year' which broke box-office records in 2014. Whereas, next he'll be seen in director Rohit Shetty's 'Dilwale', Maneesh Sharma directorial 'Fan' and Rahul Dholakia's 'Raees'.
