Hola amigos! How is everyone doing? I am guessing not so good considering today's episode. Sigh. Mera bhi kuch yahi haal hai. Thanks to the never ending frustration Reporters has been giving me, I have probably gained a few extra pounds with all the ice-cream and chocolate I have been stuffing my face with. 😆I cannot believe we are already 49 episodes in! And we have around 81 episodes or so left? What is it with time??? It's flying! Coming to tonight's episode and the ongoing MU track, I have mixed feelings towards it. Albeit all the mess, what I loved the most was the scene in Kabir's cabin. It was so wonderfully directed. The dialogues were on point. And Kritika performed beautifully. There is a storm of emotions swirling inside her heart like a hurricane. She is upset she broke her best friend's heart. She is confused about her feelings for the man she has hero-worshipped for 8 years, who has been her mentor, her boss, her friend. She is frustrated that no matter how hard she tries she cannot express to him what and how she feels. And so she questions his presence in her life. And to add to her confusions, in comes her 'friend' Richa. Richa's never ending banter about Kabir and her constantly pressurizing Ananya to give Ronnie a second thought did not affect me until yesterday. She is her friend, her well wisher and it was completely understandable when she warned Ananya of Kabir's 'womanizer' image. But after Ananya has made clear that she can never accept Ronnie as more than a friend, Richa needs to stop pushing her to give Ronnie a chance and hear the other side of the story. She is beginning to get on my nerves. Give Ananya some breathing space woman!
Speaking of breathing, Kabir Sharma'a back! *drumroll please* Kabir ko dekhte hi hamari saansein ruk jaati hain. Must the man be so dangerously attractive? It is Ananya's bad luck that Kabir graced us with his lovely presence while she voiced her 'hate' for him. Her words cut through him like shards of glass. The hurt was so apparent on his face. Rajeev, you insanely talented man! Let's not forget the unforgettable 'get...in' scene which sounded more like 'leave me alone you dinner-loving-highly-frustrated-self-inviting-attention-seeking imbecile'. Malvika could do with a few more brain cells. The only reason Kabir tolerates her silly tactics is because she is KL's daughter. The sooner she realizes that, the better.
Thank god for small mercies. Amidst the toofan in KKN, we have the Trisha and Sunny conversation. Lightened my mood a tad bit. I am going to miss you Trisha. ðŸ˜
As for Ronnie, I don't really know what to say about him. He is hurt and his behaviour is partially justifiable. He was already aware of Ananya's feelings towards Kabir and yet he took the chance. Which I am happy he did. Atleast him and Ananya are clear of where they stand in each other's lives. But ignoring Ananya like that? His attitude is hurtful. He can just tell her that he needs some time and space. I am sure Ananya would comply.
All in all, I know that things are going to get better soon. It the time between the worse and the better that is...well...its frustrating. We all know that Ananya and Kabir feel something for each other. They think it's love. But is it really? Ananya has told herself and others several times that she loves Kabir. Kabir on the other hand did not argue against Tarini when she told him that he loves Ananya. Truth be told, Ananya and Kabir barely know each other. What they are in love with is the idea of being in love. For Ananya, Kabir has been her hero, her idol, her mentor, her inspiration, her strength for 8 years and her friend for a small period of time now that they are back to calling each other Miss. Kashyap and Kabir Sir again. For now, that is all she knows about him. What about the Kabir who is vulnerable, guilty, is living with a tarnished past, who was an alcoholic?
For Kabir, Ananya is his salvation, an employee and partner he is proud of and his second chance at friendship and perhaps love? But there is so much more he is yet to know about her.
Here's the thing, Ananya and Kabir have to overcome many hurdles before they can become one. They are a long way from calling what they feel as love. And the first step to that is communication! I really hope Kabir and Ananya talk to each other rather than talk about each other! Let's not forget this is the same Ananya who had supported Kabir during the whole Tarini fiasco that Manav had created. And today, she believes the exact opposite. If this does not stress the need for conversation between the two, I don't know what does. Even though I was disappointed with Rajeev's absence in the past two episodes, I was a tad bit happy too. Sometimes, distance helps clear your mind. But alas, everything is far from clear in KaYa land. Lets hope that Kabir ke glass ka tootna will actually bring some good luck. This show has never failed to impress me and I am sure it won't disappoint us.
What do you think? Let me know below! *bites into an Oreo*
