Whatever I read from the spoiler (he tells her that he is a womaniser) could be a sarcastic taunt. Yes, he could also vent his frustration out by flirting with Malavika and giving cold treatment to Ananya. When whole office gossips about his flirty avtar, Ananya has to bear it silently. Probably she would then be able to decode Kabir Sharma (a bruised, hurt person) from his image (a hero whom she worshipped or a womaniser her office gossiped). He didnt want to drink but Ananya'S words kept haunting him

Yes he is mature but his dignity his character is being questioned and that too by the person who said to be hero worshippng him all these years

So he is very hurt and will do all pissible to push her away from him but will his heart listen

Kabir is deservedly hurt and angry at Ananya's betrayal (of their friendship) and her low opinion of him (undeservedly, because all he's done is tell her the truth about her father. He doesn't know about the gossip etc) And after all that sweetness and trust with the kidnapping track and the smses particularly, his hopes are dashed - poor fellow.

And poor honest Ananya, wanting things spelled out for her - does he love her or not, because she loves him, has loved him and hero-worshipped him for 8 years. Ananya is going to grow up quickly and find out that not everything can be clarified so easily and openly.
