Otherwise-DMG scenes!
Okay so here is a new segment that I have been thinking to start since a while now; but I was a bit unsure. Well... just as the name states you must have understood that this segment is about DMG scenes. To explain in brief we all have had this crazy thought; ki is situation main iske bajai aise hota toh? Us episode mein Riddhima ko aisa nahi karna chahiye tha...etc etc This segment is absolutely fulfilling that crazy wish and thoughts of mine.
And yes... I donot intend to hurt anyone's feeling or to offend the writer of DMG. This is just my small wish that I am fulfilling by writing fictional scenes based on original ones!
Now since this is the very first drabble I am posting; I have kept the scene and situation much as it was; just added my own touch. Further ahead I would post in drabbles where I might completely change the outcome of the situation as per I WISH it had turned out.
So...yaaay... I am really excited about this as I am trying something new... crazy!! Now gooo guys READ... and do let me know how you liked it! DO comment for sure; good/bad whatever it is as I really need to know if I continue this segment or not.
Drabble#1
SCENE: So this is that scene where Armaan gets beaten by a wrestler Robby because Riddhima had taken a promise from him that he won't raise his hand. So the scene is all about the conversation that happens between the three later; just with a pinch of mirch masala from my side :D
-----------------------
Deep cut on his cheek prominent; swollen enough to go unnoticed. Hair completely messed up he sat sweating and panting hard. Blood still kept oozing out from that small cut on his lips; but it never reached grounds.
"Armaan... ye kya haalat bana rakhi hai tumne apni? You promised me..."
He looked up intently cutting her words right there; his hand still resting against his side waist as his ribs hurt! The girl; the only one he loved so deeply truly; stood right in front of him. Was the only one he submitted his life and himself to! But irony of life... SHE was no more HIS!!
"Riddhima please... leave me alone... sss..."
That unwanted hiss unknowingly escaped his lips bringing her a step closer but he raised his hand to keep her still.
Shilpa who stood by Riddhima's side witnessing his pain; couldn't hold herself back "Armaan you need medical attention. Main tumhari dressing..."
But yet again he disapproved the idea. With some efforts he did stand up on his feet to stumble back onto the chair. Shilpa ran but before she could reach Riddhima already held his arm stabalizing him; but the minute she sensed his breath on her face she drew her hands back. A soft chuckle from him surprised both the girls "Strange isn't it; Jab dard aur dawa dono ek hi insaan se ho! Par Riddhima... tum chahkar bhi meri dawa ab ban nahi sakti aur na chahte hue ek dard bankar reh gayi ho."
Her gaze dropped; she tasted her own tears feeling her heart choke up. "Armaan... tum ye sab kyu karte ho? Kyun khud ko din raat takleef pohcha rahe ho?"
Holding his arm she tried to take him along "Chalo tum mere saath; kitni chot lagi hai tumhe; tumhe dressing ki jarurat hai!"
Her heart broke into thousand pieces as he slowly shrugged her hand off. She shut her eyes tight as she couldn't hold his piercing accusatory gaze. Her heart ran out to him but she couldn't do much. She couldn't even caress his marks; blow some soft air consoling him that it was alright. He would be alright and she would be there for him! All these promises had already rusted. She was now just around him; but could no longer be by his side. That was the bitter truth of their life.
Shilpa couldn't really get what was happening. But Armaan was injured and needed treatment; that was all she cared about right now. He stumbled as he tried to walk and lost his balance and Shilpa who stood close to him held him.
"Armaan... Riddhima sahi keh rahi hai. Tumhe bohot chot lagi hai; please tum..."
"Enough already... ab tum mat shuru ho jao! Main apna khayal rakhna jaanta hu... rather seekh gaya hu!"
The intended taunt was very well received by the concerned and it definitely stabbed hard through her heart.
All through as Shilpa tried to insist Riddhima approached her; "Dr.Shilpa. Dekh liya aapne aapke bachpane ka nateeja? Aur ye Armaan ki fikar karne ka dikava band keejiye aap! Aapko toh ye sab kaafi thrilling lag raha hoga. Ye street fight ye sab aapke liye bohot exciting hoga nahi? Maja aa raha hoga aapko toh. Jab subah aapse maine poocha tha tab bhi aapne mujhse jhut kaha tha! Agar tab sach bata diya hota toh ye sab nahi hua hota. Yaad rakhiye is sabki zimmedar sirf aap hai. Armaan aaj jis halat mein hai sirf aapki vajah se hai aur..."
"Really Riddhima? Will you stop already please!!" Armaan turned counter questioning Riddhima.
"Bina vajah kyun Shilpa par iljaam laga rahi ho tum. Stop blaming her for God sake. Shilpa ka meri kisi halat se; meri zindagi se koi lena dena nahi hai. Ye baat tum achi tarah se jaanti ho ki is sab ke zimmedar agar koi hai toh vo sirf tum ho aur koi nahi!!"
Shilpa sensed a thundering bolt flash; as if her life pushed her harshly and landed her in front of truth. She meant nothing... a NOBODY to him. That hurt...stung bad!!
Riddhima opened her mouth to retort; but what could she come up with. Each and every word that he uttered was true; wasn't it? She was the sole reason of his devastated life. The guy had always followed his heart; did everything only for his love; his BASKET. But now that he had lost his most priced possession he was lost and she was the culprit. Unknowingly... unwillingly!!
"Armaan... is tarah toh tum apni zindagi barbaad kar doge. Main sirf tumhe sambhalne ki koshish..."
"Mat karo Riddhima... main jo hu jaisa hu theek hi hu! Tum mujhe sambhalne ki koshish karogi toh tut jaunga. Aur vaise bhi mujhe sambhalne ka haq tumne usi din kho diya tha; jis din mujhse tumpar se sare haq cheen liye tumne! Meri zindagi mein humesha se sirf ek hi insaan zaroori tha; aur vo thi MERI RIDDHIMA... MERI BASKET; jo sirf meri thi!!"
Earth was snatched away from under Shilpa's feet. Another truth came across her in a not so pleasant way and in her not-so-ready-to-face state! She had definitely read the emptiness; the hurt in Armaan's eyes all along and it always drove her closer to him. But she understood his pain today for the first time. In a snap she felt thrown out of his life as she realized that his Basket was none other than Riddhima. His eyes clearly depicted the love he held for her; it had always been there!
On the other hand Armaan stated some facts snapping Riddhima back to reality "Tum... tum ab sirf Riddhima Modi ho. Main apni Basket ko kho chukka hu Riddhima; aur is dard ko bhulana aasan nahi hai. Afterall hu toh main bhi ek insaan hi; bhagwaan nahi! Tumhari marzi; tumhari khushi ki khatir tumhe saup diya kisi aur ke hawale... par chahkar bhi tumhe har waqt kisi aur ke saath dekhkar main khush nahi ho sakta.
Har roz yahi koshish karta hu ki us dard ko kam kar pau apne aap ko usse bada dard; badi ghaav dekar. Mere haq toh tum cheen chuki; kam se kam meri ye takleef aur mera dard ,mere saath rehne do! Tum toh apni life mein settle ho chuki... mujhe kam se kam mere haal pe hi chod do. Tumhe kisi aur ka hote hue dekh raha hu; par seh nahi paata. Let me come to terms with myself Bas... I mean Mrs.Riddhima Modi."
Winds turned chilly all of a sudden; she felt millions of knifes stabbed straight through her heart. It was a fact she was now no more his. She was someone's wife. But still when he uttered it; it felt sooo wrong! That mere sentence placed her far away from him. And however she fought her ownself; her heart still couldn't stay away from him. Her heart cried; palm fisted; tears rolled down; but she stood quiet. He could feel her pain; she could hear his heart crying. But she had chose to not turn back and he had willingly let her close that door because that was what she "WISHED"!
The silence prevailing between the two hearts spoke volumes. Both of them heard it but with deaf ears. Everything was crystal clear yet unknown. And amongst these two broken hearts was another person (Shilpa) who stood and witnessed the silent love. And she knew; she wasn't the only one leading a life with broken heart and love which could never reach its destination.
