Tanu Weds Manu Returns' Box Office Collection: Kangana-Madhavan Starrer Set to Beat Salman Khan's 'Bodyguard' Lifetime Total

After breaking several records at the box office, Kangana Ranaut and R Madhavan starrer "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" is now set to beat the lifetime total of Salman Khan's Bodyguard".

Salman's "Bodyguard" lifetime box office collection is 148.86 crore and "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" income after fifth weekend stands at 147.09 crore.

"#TanuWedsManuReturns collected 2.05 cr in Weekend 5. Grand total: 147.09 cr. ATBB," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

Anand L Rai's directorial film will beat Salman's "Bodyguard" by the end of fifth week as it requires just 1.8 crore. "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" might even cross 150 mark by the end of fifth week.

Meanwhile, Kangana starrer has become the 13^th highest grosser of all time after beating Ajay Devgn's "Singham Returns" and Salman's "Dabangg" record.

Tanu Weds Manu Returns surprised everyone with its smashing performance. The highest grosser of 2015 has put behind some big movies such as Gabbar Is Back, Baby and Piku. The film currenltly is a few crores short of reaching the 150 crore mark.

Interestingly, Tanu Weds Manu Returns has now also beaten the worldwide collection of Jab Tak Hai Jaan. The film's worldwide collections stand at 252 crores, which includes 45.80 crores gross overseas collections as well. Shah Rukh Khan's JTHJ had made a worldwide total of 241 crores in 2012.
