Parineeti Chopra seems to be irked by the report in a leading newspaper which says that the actress was agitated with the organizers of IIFA, held earlier this month in Malaysia.
According to the report, Parineeti wasn't too thrilled that the organizers approached Sonakshi Sinha for a singing gig. It may be noted that, Parineeti is a trained classical singer and was hoping to perform at the event. But that didn't happen. Instead, the act went to Sonakshi, who surprised all with her Sawaar Loon' from Lootera' along with other numbers.
However, Parineeti has denied the above story and got on to twitter and said, "What is the point of asking for my quote when you're going to print a negative story anyway? Better to ignore your messages then! Its so disheartening to see a story that is absolutely untrue, even when I have respectfully answered your query! So disappointed."
She further tweeted, "Don't try and spoil our relationships with each other. All us actors are friends. We support each other. BELIEVE IT ONCE AND FOR ALL! I still respect your newspaper very much, my reaction is ONLY to today's story."
