is ekta really the queen of TV??

I feel like the tv industry has given way to much importance to her..yeah she makes hit couples..but the storyline always turns crap.. She endless seperates the couples for no good reason..making the viewers go on a emotional ride. In the end..besides a few shows..all her shows have been nothing but crap..no storyline. Everything starts off with a bang

dear google ekta kapoor & some other tv producers ...tumhe pta chal jayega... btw..2000 se aaj tk 15 years se tv pe koun production house / producer Raaj kar rha hai ? Sb se badi Tv shows ki production house koun hai ?? haa ab Ekta tv serials se jyada Filmo pe focus krne lgi hai jis se Ekta k shows ki Quality thodi low hui hai...

I guess it depends on the quantity..not the quality..

I feel like that's the case for all of desi TV...not just BT productions. The goal is TRPs & lasting for years...not quality.

EK is no doubt a brilliant businesswoman & has an extraordinary eye for casting couples & ensemble casts. She is also good at finding good concepts, but it's managing the shows where things get murky. Slowly every good concept is lost to the normal tracks of Desi TV.

She's a businesswoman, and I just wish she would use one show to fully explore new methods of story telling like YHM was. She has the clout in the industry to actually bring change, but unfortunately for the PH & channels - the bottom line is revenue.
